Watched this movie recently on DVD and had the opportunity to watch it for a second time. That's what happened, and I'm very happy about that. The movie is not boring at all, and it is a delight to watch for those who appreciate the sport and the personalities that are at the core of it. The cast is so great, with Joe Murray (The Man with the Iron Heart), Bill O'Reilly (The Coach), Lou Ferrigno (The All-American), Jim Brown (The Greatest Player Ever) and on and on. It is great to see how the original cast are still together in a movie, and how this movie is just as enjoyable. This is a classic example of the NFL as it was. No one can play with the passion of some of these players, and to have them playing it for such a great movie is just great. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves football. This movie is one of the best ever made, and it is my new favorite movie.

It's so sad that it wasn't even aired on TV, but I can't wait to see it on DVD. It's a perfect movie, and it's great to watch it again.

However, a few notable players that are still playing are not included: Steve Young, Ray Nitschke, Sid Gillman, Junior Seau, Ed King, Walter Payton, Joe Namath, Herschel Walker, and the legendary Tony Dorsett. I am not sure if the film was too short or what the director, Tod Shrier, was trying to achieve with the film. Maybe it was an attempt to show that there was a group of players that had a special connection that was hard to find or that were already dead. Or maybe the directors were trying to show the difference between a group of friends and a group of football players. Regardless, I still enjoyed this film and found it to be a fascinating look into these players' lives. I believe that it would be a great documentary to show to high school students and college students about these players.

Watching this film again a few days ago, I was stunned. The memories of the 1977 season were just so intense and moving. It just goes to show you how important this team was to the city of Atlanta, the city of Atlanta was just totally invested in this team and everything else that happened on the field. People traveled across the country just to watch the team and it was just so much that was happening on the field, that you couldn't help but be a part of it. This film was so emotional and it just made you feel so bad for the people who were in the locker room that were going through the pain that this team went through. I have always been a football fan, but I have never felt this way about a football movie. I just feel like I need to see this film a couple more times before it becomes stale. This film is a must see. The music is great, but what really stands out is the characters. The players are great and the team is great. The film just makes you feel like you are right there with the team and the fans, it makes you want to get out there and cheer for the team. The best football movie I have ever seen.
