Not a big fan of the film but the scene when he shows his old friends in the car is just brilliant. A lot of the humour is based on their own faces and not their faces on screen, so much so that it is almost impossible to believe they are real. But there is a huge sub-plot which ties the whole film together and it is really clever. The plot has been brought to life in a clever way and the film is about two boys from different backgrounds, one black and one white, but who find a common interest in a game show called 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'. When they get invited to the 'Scary Movie' premiere, their lives are about to change forever. I do like the film, but I have to admit that it is a little too predictable and some of the scenes are a bit too simple and predictable. It does a good job of making you laugh and feel good, but it is not going to be the best film of the year, but it is a decent film, I recommend it to anyone who likes comedy. 7/10

I had never heard of this movie, until it came up on TV recently. The first thing that was telling me that it was not a typical comedy was the fast pace of the movie. The characters' personalities were all a little different and I was a little confused as to who was supposed to be gay. At the beginning, the actors were making fun of each other and then each other's characters, so I was confused as to who was supposed to be gay. As the movie progressed, the jokes were becoming more and more believable. I would have to say that this movie is great for the kids and would be a great movie for the family to watch. This movie is very true to life, with a couple of children who don't want to see the "gay" jokes that were in this movie, but they are just like the rest of us, they just don't know what the hell is going on. I would recommend this movie to anyone, if you don't understand the comedy in this movie, then don't see it, because it might not be for you.

One of my favourite actors plays a dumb he-man who discovers that he has a female sidekick, in this case a little girl. During a fight with the enemy this he-man and his helper are shot dead. The villain decides to bury his 'superhero' sidekick in a secret laboratory under the grounds of his own city and sends his hired 'scientists' to find him. Unfortunately for the villain he is a very naive man and so are the 'scientists'. Along the way the he-man's new friend, his he-man's 'daughter' and her beau find out that the villain is the father of his he-man's super-hero wife, now working for the villain. Of course the villain's daughter, also knows what her father wants to do and so she runs away. So the he-man and his daughter are pursued by the super-villain's hired men and this is the movie's true theme. At first the he-man wants to help her and then the he-man's daughter and he-man's 'daughter' decide they must come together and do something about this. It is a really fun movie that is totally worth watching.

The idea of a "Revenge of the Nerds" movie seems a little naive. However, the film does deliver exactly what it sets out to do. Well-written, directed, and acted. The script doesn't rely on heavy-handed humor to bring the audience into the scene. It's actually about a nerd (Travolta) who is constantly being bullied by his friends, and his crush on another girl (Bale). The film allows the audience to sympathize with Travolta and it also allows the audience to see his situation. He's not exactly a bad guy, he just seems to have no friends. He's not exactly an outcast, and is just looking for a way out of his situation. The fact that he's obsessed with making the biggest mistake possible just makes it worse for him. It's also refreshing to see a film that allows a villain to have his moment. I really enjoyed the director's style. He's able to keep the audience's attention while maintaining a sense of realism. It's a very different type of film from "The Matrix" and "300", but it's definitely a great example of the kind of film that makes me appreciate "Revenge of the Nerds" more.

So, if you want to laugh at a good film, I recommend you see this movie. And, if you want to see a good movie about teenagers and sex, see "Freaky Friday" or "The Gore Gore Girls". But, don't expect a "Freaky Friday" or a "The Gore Gore Girls". This is much more of a dark comedy. Don't go in expecting a good movie.

Just don't take it too seriously, and don't expect a high quality movie. If you're the kind of person who takes movies too seriously, and like a good laugh, you should give this movie a chance. If you're the kind of person who loves movies that are really funny and meaningful, you should see this movie as soon as possible. This movie is a living example of a movie that is made for everyone, by everyone, and anyone. If you don't like this movie, then you don't like movies, period.

The only reason I gave this movie a 7 instead of a 8, was that I was not completely satisfied with the ending. My parents have been dead for three months, and I didn't see it coming. When he went to take the girl to the prom, I wondered if she was really going to kill herself or not. But I was glad to see she didn't. That is what I thought the movie was going to be about.
