When the first trailer for this movie was released, I thought it would be just another action movie with the same old jokes, but this movie turned out to be really funny. The first half hour of the movie is really funny and the second half is really funny as well. There are many jokes that you might not be able to catch the first time. The acting was great and there was a lot of fun in the movie. If you're looking for a good comedy, this movie is for you. The movie is rated PG-13 for some sexual humor and language, but I've seen many movies like this and they didn't have any of that in it. I recommend this movie to people who are looking for a good comedy.
This is a very well done, very entertaining movie. The story is simple but the characters are very well developed. You really feel for all the characters. The plot is quite simple but the story is very well developed. There is a lot of action and plenty of humor. This is a good family movie. The acting is very good. The movie is full of emotion. There are a lot of fight scenes and it's very exciting. The movie is very entertaining. There is a lot of humor. I like this movie a lot. I give it an 8 out of 10.
This is the first time I've seen a movie with a love story. It's a great movie with a good cast and a very good script. There are a few flaws, like the performance of the main character is a bit exaggerated. But the story is very good. The scene with the father and son are very touching and the story of the relationship between the father and son is very touching. You should see this movie!
I loved this film. It's one of those films you can watch over and over and never get bored of. The story is very original and the actors are great. I love the relationship between the two main characters and their friendship. The music is wonderful. It adds to the film and is just great. I just hope the sequel is as good as this one.
The funniest movie I have ever seen. Every time I see it, it's a new surprise!
I didn't see this film when it first came out and didn't see it again until the couple of years since I wrote my first review for this site. I had to watch it again to appreciate the depth and the craftsmanship and the craft and subtlety that this film demands. You really get to understand the emotion of the various characters, but it's not as obvious. It is really more about the art of film and how one can get lost in it without knowing it.
What's a friend to do when you get someone you really don't like? A man finds out how by having a friend take away his best friend from him. But he has to get used to the idea of the friendship being taken away by a woman, only one he loves. It's quite a different film and I wasn't sure I would like it. I liked it and that's about it. It's not a masterpiece by any means. But it's interesting and it has a great message about life, love, and trust. It's a bit slow and I found myself feeling bored for much of it. But there are some good laughs and some great cinematography and this film is worth watching.
I had been excited to see this movie for a while now. I was absolutely impressed, but it just didn't do it for me. I don't know if that was the plot, or if the movie was just not for me. I saw it again today, and I am more positive about this film. The first time I saw this movie, I laughed hysterically, then I had to put my hand over my mouth. My second viewing brought me to tears. I was shocked to see how much this film was affected by the audience reaction. I have the feeling that a lot of the people in the audience didn't know what they were getting into, so they were almost trying to figure it out on their own. But the theater seemed to catch the sense of humour of this film, and they were laughing and clapping as the film went on. I feel it was worth seeing. All the actors did a great job, especially Hong Kong star Tom Lo and Jimmy T. Wong. Hong Kong star Albert Chia did a fantastic job as well, but I liked the supporting cast the most. David Chiang (I believe he was of Taiwanese descent) and Sir Chung Mong-Sok played their roles very well, I was even surprised that they were really engaging as a team. There was a really good amount of drama in the film, which brought a lot of laughs and laughs. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie, it was well-acted, well-written, and it brought tears to my eyes. It will be hard for me to find a movie that brought a tear to my eyes as often as this one did. And it was only 2 1/2 hours! It felt like 2 1/2 hours was just about right for this film. However, I would not go out of my way to see it again. I think that my love for this film grew more as I have seen it more times. So maybe that is the plot. Oh well, maybe next time I'll see it.
As a lover of Chinese cinema, I can't help but to enjoy this movie. I saw it in Hong Kong in a screening hosted by the local Chinese Film Society. It is a comedy with a drama, and I think it is an excellent choice for Hong Kong moviegoers. The two lead actors are excellent, and I can see why they were nominated for best actress at the Oscars. There is also a lot of "new" Chinese actors that I'm looking forward to seeing in future productions. This movie is not for everyone, and it is not for everyone's taste. But, if you like a good comedy and a good story, this movie is for you.
I enjoyed this film very much. I think the movie's director and writer should win the Jury Prize for Best Artistic Achievement at the 24th SXSW Film Festival. This is a very entertaining and witty film. The story is very well done and flows smoothly, but still has great plot twists. The characters are very well developed and relatable, and I felt very connected to each of them. The movie has a bit of a dry plot and the first hour is rather boring. However, by the middle of the film, the movie's plot gets much more engaging and interesting. The movie's ending is very satisfying and is something I couldn't have predicted. Also, the music is so well done that it adds an additional layer of realism to the movie. The cast is very good and the acting is very good. The humor is mostly tongue-in-cheek but is quite entertaining and manages to be humorous, charming, and interesting at the same time. The film's editing is very slick and stylish. In the beginning of the film, I thought the editing could have been a little more polished but I must admit that after the film's third act, the editing is a bit better. The film is a cute romantic comedy with a bit of humor and interesting plot twists. It is worth a watch, and I think it is a very enjoyable movie for those who enjoy romantic comedies. I give this film a 9 out of 10.
I have always been a fan of this type of film. I am a big fan of Zhang Ziyi (with her story "The Matrix", I think of her as one of the few actresses who actually works as a writer in the Asian film industry). The subject matter here is the current war in Iraq, and it is here that she tries to connect the country with a country in her own country. The war is often taken up as an excuse for self-indulgence. But in this film it is the other way around. It is very funny how, for instance, Chinese soldiers are able to fly helicopters and they carry rifles and tanks. This was a very funny movie. I have seen many of her movies and it is always pleasant to see the actress playing another character, in this case a middle-aged woman who is always complaining about her political situation. I have seen many of her movies, and they are always pleasant to watch. And, for me, she has proved herself to be a very versatile and talented actress. So far I have only seen her in "Zing Guo Yu Ni" and "You Don't Miss The End". I think her other films are fine too. This film, like many of her other films, is quite depressing, but it is still funny. It is a good film, and I give it 9/10.
You know you've seen it before. The only difference between this one and others is that it actually has some worth watching. That the ending is a bit predictable is more than forgivable. Most of the characters are cardboard cut-outs in the original film but to some extent these have been stretched out to be very one dimensional. Hong Kong's reputation is built on having diversity of characters but this is in keeping with that. It is a moving film about love, death and being in the unknown and you might be wondering if you can relate to this story. Well I can and I'm not the audience they are looking for. If you have any ambition to see a movie that makes you laugh, laugh, laugh, it will. If you like the colour green, there's no excuse not to.
The gang has moved into an apartment building and they must find a way to stay in one place and not move out. With the help of a real estate agent, they decide to break into the building to steal the property. The two main characters in this movie are Ben (Lee Kuan Yew) and Jackie (Barry Keo) who are like brothers. They live in the same apartment and they talk with each other almost every day. There is a lot of humor in this movie. Sometimes it is funny and sometimes it is just plain silly. One thing that I really like about this movie is the fact that it is really colorful and colorful is just the best way to describe it. The background music is also a big part of this movie. I really like this movie because it is a comedy that is really funny. It is also a romantic comedy and I also really like that because it is a romance movie. The ending is also a big part of this movie. I also really like that this movie has a great message about family. I think it is really important to have a family. This movie is a lot of fun and it is really fun to watch.
This is a typical Taiwanese comedy. I like the movie because it has many funny moments. The story is not good but it is interesting and interesting to see a couple of couples. I liked this movie because it is very entertaining and funny. I recommend this movie to anyone who is in a good mood.
I remember watching this movie when I was 12 years old and it was a major let down. I was really surprised at how good this movie was and it is a lot better than I thought it would be. The plot is good, the characters are good, the jokes are funny, the romance is good, the acting is good, and the music is very good. I was surprised how good this movie is. The only problem with the movie is that it has a very boring plot, but it is still a very good movie. This movie is a must see, but it is not a must buy, so don't go out and buy it. I would rate this movie 8/10, but I would give it an 8/10 if it was not for the boring plot. 8/10.
I had a ton of fun watching this. So, if you enjoy Chinese comedies, especially about teenagers and their parents, I'd suggest you check this one out. The characters are very well drawn, and while the plot is thin, I think the jokes are smart and memorable. I was laughing out loud several times, and I think it was hilarious to me. The main character, Chiaki, is very pretty, and very sweet, which makes me smile whenever I see her. And the parents are pretty annoying. I would say that this is the most similar to a Chinese film to me. So, if you liked the funny and sweet comedy that is 'The Secret Garden', you should check this out.
Wishing this film's director to be more optimistic and more sensitive. The script may seem a bit similar to the standard Korean movie, but I found this movie to be worth seeing. Not because I like to complain about my problems and issues, but because it's based on a true story. I mean, it's not exactly a comedy, but even the minor character's actions are fully thought-out and shown on the screen. Their particularities are all given away very early on. The realism is well-constructed, the actors are not cartoonish, and the dialogue is clear and appropriate. One of the most unique and impressive things about the film is its cinematography. It's not a simple shot-by-shot imitation of cinema - a lot of special effects, such as explosions and cars, was done in full high quality. Also, the lighting and shadows are well-constructed and as realistic as possible. Even though some parts of the film are a bit overly sentimental and even sentimentalism itself, in general, the story line and the acting made up for this flaw. While watching the film, I started to notice many similarities to the above mentioned films, such as the "shopping mall" scene, the montage of emotion-filled scenes, etc. But it really doesn't matter. This movie is not a perfect copy of other films. It has its own story line and its own message, but it's also different. The director may have tried to make the movie seem more emotionally and realistic than typical Korean films, but he also tried to make it seem more like a typical Korean film. He succeeded greatly in his task, but it could have been better. And although it is a very entertaining movie, it's not something you will see every day.
This movie is pretty much the Chinese version of the Academy Award nominated La La Land. Lili Taylor, Emma Stone, and Ryan Gosling are very talented actors, but they are all brilliant in their respective roles. The movie is great, the plot is very interesting, and the characters are likable. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are very similar in their roles, the two of them being the perfect male lead. They are both very easy to relate to and enjoy on screen. I think that this movie deserves an Oscar nomination for best picture. The best scenes are the scene of Ryan Gosling's character doing the ballroom dance and then the scene where Emma Stone's character opens the door to Ryan Gosling's character's apartment. The best thing about the movie is the entire background score that accompanies the scenes. It really enhances the movie. In conclusion, La La Land deserves a higher rating from me. I think that the storyline and the acting is the best thing about the movie.
Some movies are so hard to find that one can be spoiled by watching them. It's a very nice time when I came across this one. I didn't expect to see the title "Escape From The Body", especially since I'd never seen the first one, and therefore it was very hard to tell what it's all about. But it's so good, that I can't help myself from watching it. The characters are so different from those in the first one, they have a completely different vibe. The story goes in such different directions that the actors and actresses have to make sense of it. Every scene can't be perfectly explained, and everything has to be seen and understood. The pace is so fast that it's easy to lose focus. The only problem I have is the screenplay. It's hard to figure out exactly what's going on. However, as long as you pay attention to the whole movie, it will be an entertaining and enjoyable experience. The ending isn't really memorable, but it's still very good.
I've never been the biggest fan of Chow Yun Fat but when I saw this movie I got hooked! I can not wait for Chow Yun Fat 2. This is a fun movie full of action, the kind of movie that keeps you guessing what will happen next. Definitely a must-see.
As the title already states, I feel that the movie is like a trip. You get to see all the "olde" classic foods - mashed potatoes, noodle soup, and so on. But it also offers the unique experience of being around a bunch of 20 year old kids who are way too "passionate" about food. They make fun of you, they steal your food, they rave about your food, and it's pretty funny! Also, since I'm a foodie myself, it's also pretty entertaining to see the audience cracking up in unison, as well as their own food reactions!
This movie is one of the best I've seen in a long time. It is one of those movies that you have to watch more than once to enjoy it. It is very well written and well-directed. But the reason why I like it so much is because of its unexpected ending. I think that this is an excellent movie. So I recommend this movie to everyone. It is a very good movie and one of the best in a long time.
It is not the usual action movie, that is what I am trying to say. It is not a comedy, and I am not going to give you a spoiler. It is a real comedy, and the actors are really good. The story is very good, and you can really feel the emotions of the characters. I can not say it is a great movie, but it is very good, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good comedy. I am very happy about the end. It was very satisfying. It is a very good movie, and I hope it will be in the top ten movies of 2008. I am so happy for the success of this movie. I hope everyone can see it, because it is a good movie. I give it a 9 out of 10.
I liked this movie, though not as much as I liked his previous films. This movie is a lot more serious than his previous films. It deals with the subject of who you really are and what you do with your life. In the beginning, the movie is very funny and sweet. After about 5-10 minutes, the movie becomes more serious and very serious. The movie is not for children or anyone who is easily offended. The movie is extremely dark and sometimes it can get scary. I would recommend this movie to all people who like dark comedy and comedy. If you like the movies "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" or "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2", you might like this movie. I gave this movie a 8 out of 10.
I don't know why this film is so low on IMDb. I am a big fan of Wong Kar-Wai and his films and am also a huge fan of Bruce Lee. So I went to see this film and I must say that I was very impressed. It's a really fun film and it's very original and entertaining. It's not perfect but it's very good. I think it's very good that Wong Kar-Wai and Bruce Lee were the same age. I think that is very funny. Bruce Lee was very sick and it was very hard for him to see his friends. I think that's very funny. The thing that I like most about this film is that it's very original and very entertaining. It's a great film. I recommend this film to everybody.
A lot of movies are about romantic love and all the drama and feelings that go with it, but this one is different. This is about a guy who falls in love with a girl, and how it changes his life. The main character, Mr. T, is a man who is a successful business man and a good looking guy. He has a pretty girl, Ms. L, and a pretty boy, Mr. Y. The two of them meet in a bar and fall in love, but it is not until they are together that they realize that they have feelings for each other. The movie is very funny, but I really like how they do not make the two of them happy. They are both unhappy in their lives, and they do not know what to do about it. The movie is very well written and the story is very nice. I think that the movie would be better if the two of them had a relationship, but they do not. This is a very nice movie to watch.
This is a simple story of two girls who are in love and are in danger of losing their love. The story is quite simple and not very interesting but the film is a bit funny and sweet. The music is good and the acting is good. The film is not very long but it is full of good jokes and some cute moments. The film is a bit slow in the beginning but it is very funny and romantic. I would give this film a 8 out of 10.
This film is an homage to the Hong Kong movies of the '40s and '50s. It's a fantastic mixture of comedy and romance. There are some very funny scenes. The romantic scenes are also very funny. The characters are very well developed and well acted. The story is very interesting. The action scenes are also very well done. The only problem is that it's not very exciting. The story is very interesting but it's not very exciting. There are a few boring parts. The last 20 minutes of the film are very slow. The only good thing about this film is that it's a very entertaining film. If you like the Hong Kong movies of the '40s and '50s, then you'll love this film. I give it an 8 out of 10.
Like a good story that ends the same way. The settings were great and the actors were wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was the ending. I didn't want to see the father killing the kid, because I wanted to see him become stronger. If he would have just tried to protect the girl instead of killing her I would have enjoyed it more. I just wish that the ending was different. In this movie I liked the acting of the girl and the actor of the gang. They made the story so much better. Maybe it wasn't that good, but it was still entertaining.
I had the pleasure of attending an advance screening of the film at the Pasadena International Film Festival. While it's not the "cheapie" Asian movie I had hoped for, it was still a fun and entertaining film. It tells the story of three brothers, one a piano player, one a carpenter, and one a gymnast, who meet and eventually fall in love. The three brothers are given a year to live by their Aunt's family, and each has a way of coping with the loss of his or her family. Although the director/screenwriter is from the west, I'm not sure that the film's influence was a factor. The film had a great energy and energy permeated the film from beginning to end. My favourite part of the film was when the two young boys were playing and the aunt would make a comment about how they must never play with toy cars or even with a toy gun. She wasn't talking about a child playing with a toy gun. I knew I was watching something special, and I was right. The film is unique in that it has characters that the audience is familiar with, yet there is little point in seeing them. The films core strength is not in character development, but in capturing the essence of what it's like to be a kid. When the story moves to the older generation the film seems to lose steam, but this aspect was the strongest part of the film. The three main characters have all grown up so much that we are comfortable with them now. In fact, the film is so fast paced and the film as a whole was so "simple" that I never even got the point of the ending. However, it is one of the best looking Asian films I have ever seen. The film has a lot of cool dream sequences and the lighting and color combinations made the film very artistic. The film is also very well acted. The three boys are all very good actors, and they all give great performances. Donnie Yen has always been a very talented actor, and he has continued to amaze me with his acting. It seems that he is never one to do a lot of crying in his films. It seems like he is always able to get a hold of the emotions, and not to let them go. I think his next film is going to be very big and I hope to see him in more films in the future. All in all, I highly recommend seeing the film. There is much more to this film than what you see in the trailer, and I look forward to seeing more. I hope to see more movies from Mr. Yen.
This is a very good Taiwanese film that delivers a simple story with a lot of laughs and great acting. What it has in common with the good English films of Hollywood is the main character is a typical American teen who has tried to escape his country. He gets stuck in a crooked school and learns to become a better man. With some twists and turns and good humor he gets out and goes out to the real world. The main characters are similar to the main characters in Donnie Darko or American Pie. Their performances are good but the male lead of Mr. Zhang is a little bit weak and he can't fight or do anything. He doesn't have many scenes but he is good. Other actors are good as well. I like this movie because of the simple story and good acting. I think the movie has more jokes than many other movies of this type. I like the story and the comedy is good. I like the young lead and I like the female lead. I recommend this movie for many who want to see a very good Taiwanese film that delivers a good story.
This is one of those movies that is so utterly charming and incredible to watch. In a nutshell, "You'll never guess what'll happen next" is an extremely funny film about two guys, Peter (played by Tony Leung Kwok) and the idiot guy (played by Billy Tsang) who looks like a 10 year old and makes stupid decisions that affect the rest of the story. It's really a character study of the Idiot Guy and how he's going to end up. One of my favourite things about this movie is how it doesn't just break the 4th wall and have the whole movie be about the story and how it progresses, but it goes way beyond that. It really makes the characters not like in the least bit funny or likable, and the comedy actually comes from the stupidity of the guy itself. The acting in this movie is all pretty good, especially the two main actors, Billy Tsang and Tony Leung Kwok. Billy Tsang is also great as the Idiot Guy. The movie does a lot to show how stupid the thing is, but also how stupid the thing actually is. The writing in this movie is really clever, and it really helps that the humor isn't that heavy and doesn't have the typical slapstick humor that most movies use to do. The characters are also very likable, especially the two main characters. Another thing that makes this movie so funny is that the storyline is actually pretty original and thought provoking. In most other movies, characters can be defined in the most simple terms, and a story can be said to be simple or simple, or simple or plain. Not in this movie. The story is well thought through, and while it may not be what you've seen before, it actually isn't what you expect either. The characters in this movie are all pretty unique and likable, and you really end up wanting them to work out their problems. The most charming aspect of this movie is how it portrays the differences between ordinary people and the characters in the movie. A lot of movies say "that's just how they are" and say the characters are just this, or this, or this, but this movie is actually realistic. It doesn't just say that the people in this movie are like that, but rather it shows how they are different and how they are different for different reasons. And that's really what makes the characters come across as completely real and completely believable. Overall, "You'll Never Guess What'll Happen Next" is a very good and hilarious movie. It's a little slow in places, but once you get into it, it's definitely worth watching.
A character in this movie is cute, but she is not much. The movie has a great story about a fight between two "good guys" and a more realistic picture of a fight between two "bad guys" with their friends in the background. The theme of the movie is very well drawn and the movie is visually attractive. It is good for people who like drama movies with a twist. The ending is unexpected but it is good and the cast was very good. Highly recommended to watch this movie.
A TV fantasy with a gentle, quirky edge and amazing Japanese dancing, "My Little Eye" is a delightful little film with the witty and sweetest story of its genre. It tells the story of an old lady (Ethel Kendrick) who loses her son in a mishap. On her deathbed, she asks her daughter to take care of her, and over the years she has grown and matured with the wisdom of a great grandmother. She's very strong, but not very sentimental, like the average grandmother, and her appreciation of life and the good in it will be a big surprise to the viewers, though it has some surprise in the first half of the film. Her daughter, Shuya, finds a brilliant student (Lloyd) in another area of Tokyo. They both fall in love, and with the help of their neighbors (Shigeyama and Hirata), they create a wish-list for a house for their grandchildren. But a stray dog, Shiho, leads them to a mysterious man, who becomes a larger role in their lives than any wishes. The film has a slow but steady pace, even in the middle of the story, and the characters come alive and leave you with a smile on your face. I loved this film from the beginning, and it didn't take very long for me to like it. It's a wonder why this film was overlooked, since it's much more serious than your average fairy tale, even when it's not. The characters are well developed, and the gentle, humorous tone is at once charming and brilliant. While some may say it's a children's film, it's a very mature film with mature feelings, so for anyone who needs some extra emotion or to unwind, it's a good choice. I would recommend this film to everyone. My rating: 9/10. Mature.
