What a wonderful movie, one that had my heart in it's throat from the very beginning to the end. I was so moved by the storyline and the love between the lead actors. I've always admired Kim Tae-won's acting and I found him to be superb in this movie. His expressions, how he moves and changes his expression, really captured the image of the actor as a whole. The other actors also did an excellent job. The movie was based on the true story of a group of Korean men who were thrown out of Korea and captured by Japanese. This movie shows the Korean men's struggle and agony in escaping from Japanese captivity. I thought the movie was excellent. I was really moved by the story and the actors who played the characters. I could not find any fault with the movie. I can't say enough about the acting and the plot. It really moves and touched me. This movie is definitely one that I would watch over and over again. This is definitely one of the best movies I have seen in a long time.

I have seen this movie 4 times now and i've found out that this is a movie that will touch your heart. The film is full of the emotions that an ordinary person feels. In my opinion, the most memorable scenes are the ones that show the one that is depressed, the one that is mad, and the one that is sad. This is a movie that will teach you that there are others that have your problems but you are not alone. If you are a person who is trying to break out of your little world of emotions, this movie is for you. I highly recommend this movie to all people. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as i did. I didn't have high expectations about this movie, since I haven't been following it in detail. But I was pleasantly surprised by the final product. This is the most powerful movie I've ever seen, as well as one of the most underrated. The films main theme is to show how the average Korean is discriminated against, where the government keeps changing the laws to cater to the interests of the people, but never seems to care for the real problems that plague the country. In the end the Korean society is brought to its knees, due to the violence and corruption, and becomes a brutal dictatorship, the people are just left without a voice. This film is so powerful, that even though I have to admit that the film was a bit slow at times, and it is a bit too long, I still love it, it has a message that many people in Korea may not get, but still. In conclusion, I love this film, it's a fantastic film, and it should be watched by all Koreans, and the world.

When I first heard that there was going to be a Korean film in theatres here in Korea, I had a feeling of excitement that the whole nation would be re-engaged in a good, well-made film. But I was wrong. I had the feeling that the film was trying to be too much of a masterpiece to be judged by the Koreans, so they lowered the bar for the Koreans to really enjoy it. But that's a minor complaint. This is one of the greatest movies ever made and it has many things that make it stand out. First, the beautiful cinematography. The camera work is so beautifully composed that it is absolutely incredible. The color and lighting is just right, and the overall look of the film is extremely cinematic. I've seen plenty of movie trailers and there's nothing that I would compare it to other than that. The story is good. I wouldn't say it's "intelligent" or anything, but it is well-paced. It's not a story that can be adequately explained in a few minutes, and that's a good thing. I liked the way the story was told. It was told from the point of view of Kim Jong-Il, so the viewer knows a little bit of what he went through. I like the way it was told because it makes you feel for him. There are many things that are shown from Kim's point of view, and I really loved that. When the film begins, I didn't know what to expect. With over 5 years of being a TV director I must say that "The Sunflowers" is one of my favourite dramas. It is a story about two young girls from a poor background and how they overcome their situations. It has a great screenplay, superb acting, stunning cinematography and is one of the most meaningful dramas of the year. The plot involves the changing of the past when the two girls grew up and their mother left them. The mother of the girl who was the centre of attention and the son who didn't want to leave home even though he was afraid. The movie makes you think about life, love, friendship and the deep power of love. It's a movie about hope and the tragedy of losing someone close. It is a beautiful movie with heart touching scenes and a powerful story. The cast is spectacular. Choi Joon Hyuk and Jang Dong Hyuk as the main characters are very good. The acting is not top notch but is excellent. The two young stars who are of Korean and South Korean descent really shine and are perfect in their roles. The actress playing the mother is not a star but she did well. I love this movie and I'm glad I got the chance to see it.
