What I thought of the film was that it was quite well executed. The story was not a standard one but that doesn't make the movie any less enjoyable. I thought that the movie did a fine job of being realistic. It kept my attention throughout the whole movie and it was very enjoyable to watch. The acting by everyone in the movie was also very good. My favorite was certainly Shilpa Shetty who I thought was excellent in her portrayal of the main character. She did a good job to play the role that this movie was about, especially the scenes where she did all the threatening. The other actors were also very good and I think they could have done better but they were quite good. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that there was a scene in the middle of the movie which did not move me at all. There was nothing I could really say about that scene but I think it did drag the movie a little bit. Overall, this movie was really good.
Raajam is an action packed blockbuster of the Tamil language. This one is more like a remake of the English/Malayalam movie 'Street Warrior' but the most known factor in this movie is Rajabhan's role in the movie as this movie is not just about Rajabhan but more about the culture that bops came from. Also we have Vijay a gangster (Mahendra) and Raja who is also a gangster. I think it was a good idea to have Rajabhan as Rajabhan. I also like Rajabhan's accent but I don't like Rajabhan as Rajabhan. I liked Mahendra's role. I was happy with the film with Raajam being the best and Vijay and Vijay's acting being amazing. But the only role that I didn't like was Vijay's role of Jaanu. We have the recent hit films like the Saw series, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Dhoom to name a few. I don't think these movies are as good as the bops but the popularity of these bops and they are a lot more popular. I was expecting a better story, more characters, but it wasn't that bad. I am not a fan of Rakesh Roshan, I just think that he is good looking. I was very pleased with the movie and will watch it again.
Film is worth seeing for two reasons. First you got to see Nirupa Roy and second you got to see world's biggest hangover. Nirupa Roy plays Mumbai's right hand woman of the underworld and she is not only brilliant but also stylish. When I saw her in action, it is actually very hard to believe. But her beautiful face, her dance moves, her gorgeous voice, her nails, her makeup and that flawless style make up makes her appear perfect for the role. Her comeback after a two years break had been a complete shocker and I must say that the film was a far better experience. But what makes me love the film is the fact that the other actors have also done a great job. Wajid Khan did not look like a wrestler but he was absolutely amazing. His acting was perfect and I must say that the director nailed his acting. Sonakshi Sinha and Nithya Shah played their roles very well. The story was completely original. The character's had depth. You had to love and hate them equally. The second reason is the unbelievable action sequences. The action sequences were crazy. Every once in a while it will send you for a complete loop. When I saw it, I thought, "Oh my God, this is the best action film of the year" and my answer was yes. Bollywood has come a long way and it's time for the rest of the world to also come and learn from this film.
It's fun watching Bollywood movies, you can always expect more than one or two funny moments. This movie is no exception, with the plots twists, but it is also a movie which you can watch as entertainment. The comedy in this movie is super, some hilarious lines in this movie. And no matter how many times you see it, you won't get bored. Nasseruddin Shah is the perfect choice for the role of Indian Sherrer. The movie is entertaining, it makes you laugh and smile. You just won't be bored at any point. This movie is the perfect example of what a modern Bollywood movie should be.
i don't understand why people are complaining about Rituparna.it is a comedy movie.and no 'twist'.just a simple comedy story. its original style and a bit different to normal action movies.
At least 20 years have passed since Rambha Prasad used to be the Bollywood top movie Director but his latest movie 'Baaghi' is not only one of his greatest achievement but also the strongest entry in the movie history. This movie is fast paced, over the top action packed, dynamic and thrilling. The action scenes are nothing short of epic and the characters are hot and very convincing. I loved the soundtrack too. Rafi Shahi is back with another great movie 'Baaghi' as an all Indian actor. He had played the role very well. Nasseruddin Shahid is awesome as he has shown that he is a cool action hero in the movie. He has a very good chemistry with Rafi Shahi. The rest of the cast is also very convincing. The movie has a very interesting story. You don't get a typical Bollywood movie with its repetitive plot. The movie also goes for an innovative way of storytelling. You actually have to think to understand the story. Rafi Shahi, Rani, Nasseruddin and Nazeer play a very good role in the movie. You really can feel that their characters have changed. All the other characters are just as good. You can really feel the life and daily life of these characters. The film takes a different approach of storytelling and the film is almost a modern classic in that sense. The movie also has a very traditional style. However, the director has an eye for the period and the era. I would say this is definitely one of the best Indian action movies I have seen. I would rate this movie as a strong 7/10. It is really worth watching.
Aqiga and Qais (in an uncharacteristically dark and sadistic manner) come together for a final vendetta, just before being sent to a concentration camp. They are recruited by the ruthless Ziad (Jeetendra), a high-ranking Muslim terrorist leader, who persuades Aqiga to drop out of college and join the terrorist organization. However, she is not a natural. She has a degree in mathematics, but is not given enough skill to carry out her missions. With no other choice, she decides to work with Ziad and her co-conspirators to attack a prominent German company in Turkey. Although Aqiga is often under-utilized in her roles, she excels in being both sinister and beautiful. The tension builds as she is more and more trusted. What I enjoyed most about this movie was the characters. It does not feel forced, which is rare for an Indian film. Every character has a very definite character trait that I identified with. This aspect is enhanced by the actors and actresses, who convincingly portray their characters. Jeetendra and Sambaq are strong personalities who bring strength to the film. The story was well told, and the mood of the movie was excellent. There are some great action sequences. When it comes to the acting, the acting was good. Qais was effective in the role of Aqiga. She played her role of a calculating, selfish, and cold person. While Jeetendra was great in the role of Ziad. He is charismatic and compelling. Jeetendra's character, being a military man, was realistic. In addition to these two actors, this film also featured an ensemble cast of actors who all contributed. My favorite was the scene between Aqiga and Ziad. When Ziad is introduced to Aqiga, they are initially horrified and then inspired. They become close, and form a bond. These scenes are very powerful, and the emotion is very realistic. The set pieces, set pieces, set pieces, are amazing. This movie is definitely one of the best action films I have ever seen. As a longtime film buff, I appreciate the quality of the films. I would highly recommend this movie. Aqiga and Qais make for a great team. I would give this movie a 9.5 out of 10. It is certainly a movie worth watching.
This is a very very funny action packed movie, if you like daft action sequences then definitely this is for you. If you like good acting and a very good storyline then you will enjoy this. The storyline of this movie is good, it keeps you on your toes, very well. This is a very very funny and action packed movie. Recommended
First Impressions: Good acting, compelling plot, great pace and pace is essential for any movie, more so if it is an action movie. Second Impressions: Well with the action of the movie and the pace, the acting is pretty good. Camera angles and special effects were actually really good. The plot had a lot of action. Third Impressions: You cannot have a boring movie, this is what I came to know about the movie. It also featured so many characters and a good amount of action. Overall, I give it a 7 out of 10
Very good Bollywood movie. Basically the movie is about 3 suspects who are in disguise. They kidnap an important man and the ones who know about him are not in the police. After some time, they find the bad guy and his men. The cops are helpless, so they kidnap the three. The cops are still working for their employers. The movie shows that cops have to come up with any excuse. They can not be open about the truth. The police are incompetent. The villain is the only one who acts good, he has good personal character. Overall this movie was very good, it had good twists. The movie also had some humor. Some of the twists and the story line itself are pretty good.
The hero of this film gets a bit screwed-up as his girlfriend falls in love with a member of the mafia. The hero then takes her in to his house for the night and beats him up. Then he uses his girlfriend to bribe the mafia member into doing his dirty work. It is a very light-hearted and easy-going movie. I liked it very much.
The film is just a great fun action thriller which is perfect for the youngsters and the adults. The film has its cool music with some nicely crafted music which is seen in this film. The movie also has its nice action which is totally new to Indian cinema. The film is perfect for everyone as it has two genres to it - one -routine action movies, like with "Ricky" and the other -complex movies which keep the viewers guessing about the next scene. The story is really great and it is really an essential part of the film and every scene is great. Overall - it is a masterpiece of Indian film-making and this film deserves to be seen by everybody. The film is really a must watch for all young and all adults. It has an amazing score, original script, good acting and a great story to go with. The film has great action, cool music and the soundtrack is very good. The characters are very clever and funny and are awesome. The best part of the film is the action which is made just perfect and just so simple. The film has a very simple story which everyone can relate to. The film is just good fun and I would definitely watch it again. I rate it as 9.5/10.
I found it very difficult to come up with a description of this movie as the basic plot would not allow. After all, this is a movie for the fans of international action cinema! It is worth a look as a surprise feature to international movie fans who love the Euro-style action movie genres. It has all the right elements, but I would not really call this a movie, it is more of a series of movies. However, if you like crazy action and don't mind looking for ways to take yourself out of the world, then you will definitely enjoy this movie. There is no bad acting in this movie; I think the big question is how the director translated his own style to the screen. There is no really obvious way of making this movie and you have to take it for what it is. I think it would be a good idea to get a copy of this movie and then share it with others.
If this film had not been released in the summer of 1992, i wouldn't be writing this comment. The film was originally released in England and it was released on a low-budget. It was beautifully made and a good adaptation of the novel. Then, the US government took the film from the producer and gave it to the distributor. The distributor released it in the US and a more recent film version was made. It was not the best version, but the best version that had been released. Nowadays, if you look at the list of the best-known-films, you will find this film in the top ten. If you have not seen this film, see it as soon as possible. It is a very good film and it deserves more credit than it has received. The cast was very good, especially Anupam Kher who was the young Samba's voice. He was a very good actor.
After being found guilty of treason, an Indian intelligence officer (Shahrukh Khan) is sent to a country run by rebels. He is captured and is tortured by his captors but escapes after being convinced that the country is not to be messed with. There are a couple of subplots, the first being an attempt to rescue an informer who is being held captive, who at first refuses to believe the other officers are fighting the rebels, but becomes involved when it seems that he has a chance to go free. The rest is a running battle to escape the rebels and the Indians. Some good action scenes, and some of the action is a little over the top. The movie has great potential, and has it's moments. There are several twists, but the real surprise is Khan's performance. Shahrukh Khan is too wooden to do a great job. Merely a one-dimensional character, there is nothing special about him. He plays the type of role he is given, and only a few other films have been this bad. I doubt this is his best performance, but his performance is far from the worst. This film is one of the most incoherent of recent years. The narrative is not fully explained, and the villain is a step down from what could have been. The one-dimensional villain may be a step up from Mr Khan, but he is still only passable. The story is slow, and the audience could be made to lose interest as time goes on. There are a couple of scenes that are used to cause the viewer to lose interest. The movie is also riddled with several humor. Sometimes the humor is done well, and sometimes it is completely off base. The music is very forgettable. This is one of the best films of 2007. The action is good, and the performances are top notch. The one-dimensional villain, but still the best of the year.
Sunil Shetty has proved again he is the master of Hindi thriller.Don't Miss
A typical Bollywood revenge flick. That's the one thing you will find. This film was mostly for the audiences at home, which is understandable because we are the ones who pay to watch a movie. The idea is very entertaining, but like a lot of movies in Bollywood, it is a lot to digest. The acting is good and there is a suspense that is supposed to get your heart pumping. The plot is not complicated and it gives it to you, because the movie isn't really about the revenge, it's more about the motivations of the characters. The beginning of the film starts a bit slow but after that, you will see it clear that this is a decent revenge flick. In the end, the story isn't really that deep. On the whole, this is a mediocre revenge flick. Not the greatest, but it's not bad. I give it a 7 out of 10.
Superb acting from Amitabh. The only reason I give this a 7 is because it could have been better. The story wasn't as great as I would have liked and the action scenes were not great as well. Overall, the movie was entertaining and was well-acted. The actors did an excellent job and the music was also pretty good. Some of the jokes were just plain stupid and didn't work for me, but that's just my opinion. If you want to see a good movie, go see the sequels instead. 7/10
I'm a big fan of bollywood film and I watch every movie on my big screen TV, I always remember what a pleasure it is to watch such a pure and classic bollywood movie. The movies are always very exciting and I always remember the scenes that make me tear up because they were so emotionally-driven. I watched almost all of the Bollywood movies that were released over the past couple of years and the one that came to my mind when I came to know about this new bollywood film was the thriller-action-romance film "Syrup". I wanted to watch the movie to see if I can discover a completely new genre to watch with my loved ones. But sadly I watched the movie and it didn't even come close to the kind of entertainment I was expecting, let alone this feeling of sadness that it should have. The reason that I loved this movie is because of the performance of Radhika Apte and Farhan Akhtar. Farhan Akhtar has acted very well. He is a great actor and I think he should be given more roles in the future. He has proved himself to be a great actor. But the reason I love Farhan is the fact that he has been given a rare opportunity to play a part that he does really really love to play. I would just say, if I wasn't a huge fan of Radhika Apte, I would probably have never watched this movie. But now I'm a big fan of her and I would definitely like to watch this movie again. So in conclusion, the movie is definitely not bad. I definitely recommend it to all the fans of bollywood movie, but be warned that if you are looking for a movie that will truly make you fall in love with the genre and emotion of the movie, this movie is not for you. The movie is not only entertaining, but it also teaches a very valuable lesson and is definitely the only movie that I will watch for a long time to come. But I give this movie a score of 7 out of 10. That's because it's really good!
Ever watched a movie from Delhi to Mumbai? Then you know that there is a fact that girls from India are facing a lot of problems (due to lack of education and employment) and they are fleeing to other places like UK, USA and New Zealand. So what is the only thing they need? Strongmen like Mr.Ronny R,Sherman Jack and Kuldeep Sarkar who take care of these girls. However, as I have already mentioned there are several problems in this movie. The story is also very poor. Why was a kidnapping and a ransom deal arranged? Why were they in the Indian Coastguard? And why were the policemen involved? Why was this gang in Delhi? How did they get into the Coastguard? And how did they survive in the Delhi? And why was this gang waiting for an Englishman's daughter to appear in the capital? It was also not clear who the villain was. It was like this gang was doing something that the government should not do. The last thing I want to mention is the music. It is choppy and too long. It is like they did not care about the actual plot and just wanted to put a lot of music in it. Another thing I like about the movie is the actors. I have never seen an actor so angry in his performance. Mr.Ronny R as Arjun who was completely blubbering like a baby and Kuldeep Sarkar who was very violent. But when it comes to the performance of Sherman Jack, I am not going to watch it. I am not sure if the director is just influenced by Rani Mukherjee or if this guy has done some other work before, but he just played a very old, sort of anorexic person in his debut role. I do not know why this movie has a score of 7.5/10?
