This is a love story from the lead male role. On one side we have his wife who suffers from dementia and on the other side we have her aging and recovering from a car accident. She has a somewhat broken heart but still loves him and wants to do something for him. The film is a little slow in some places and the acting from the two leads is not that great, but overall it is a nice movie. Not as good as "The Town" or "A Walk to Remember", but worth watching.

I'm a big fan of Johnny Depp's and really wanted to see this. I would have rated it higher but it's just not an A film. The movie is just too slow, and sometimes boring. There is very little action and they let us know very early on that the movie will be focused on the relationship of two young lovers, they seem to want to have a real love story and never give us a reason to like them. The movie just could have been more exciting and better. This is a good movie if you want a good love story. The two main actors are good, but the love story is just so boring and shallow.

There is a version of this film that is better than the one I saw, but it is not the best of the lot. I felt like it was much too long and sometimes it was hard to follow, especially when it involves the beautiful southern landscape of Louisiana. The photography was good, but sometimes the story seemed to drag on for too long. That's not to say the story wasn't worth telling, but I could have preferred a shorter film with less time spent on the locales. There is also the idea that homosexuality has no place in the young adult world of the future. My first impression was that it was a good film, but a little too long. I think the studio executives needed to make this film shorter, and to end it on a more exciting note. The one good thing is that the director took advantage of the excellent production values of the early 1990s. The use of colors, sets, costumes, and cinematography is top-notch. I wish the film had been a little less dramatic, or at least less animated.

I first read this novel in Grade 6 and found the book to be excellent. So I looked forward to seeing this movie, which I found to be very good. The movie did a good job of blending the novel into the movie, but the book was left out altogether. The movie should have ended the book after they left the bar at the end of the movie. I am not sure if this was to be a TV show version of the book, or a movie version of the book, but I would have liked to have been able to see more of the book, as it was the best part of the film. I would not recommend this movie to anyone who is into love stories, or is looking for a romantic movie.

I would like to start by saying that I am a huge fan of Scott Glenn. But this movie is all about him. And for the life of me I can't figure out why. I am not an action movie buff, nor am I a romantic. But I absolutely loved this movie. The plot is interesting, the romance is believable, the actors are all wonderful, and the soundtrack was just perfect. The only thing that let this movie down was that it would have been so much more enjoyable if they cut out the ending. I'm not a big Ryan Phillippe fan, but this movie is worth a watch, if only for the ending.
