Shadow is all smiles and happy, but he is also haunted by memories of the grandfather, and he's a little afraid of this strange, beautiful creature. The grandfather, however, doesn't seem to be able to accept the new Shadow, and Shadow doesn't know what to do. He's just happy, but he has to keep it in check. The father figure is a nice guy, but he is also rather strange. He's not particularly friendly, and he's very emotional about his grandson, even though he is supposed to be his own son. The grandfather has a sort of lost-child feeling for Shadow, and that is what gives Shadow a really strong feeling of being a lost-child, too. He just wants to have some normal family life. There are a few really good songs in the movie, and the music is very well done. One of the best is "Sunshine" by a famous British pop group called The Smiths. That song is a very emotional and sweet song, and is so touching, it makes me cry. There is also a song called "Don't Stop Believin'" that is very heartwarming. The movie is not a kid's movie, but it is a very beautiful movie, and is quite a sad movie in its ending. I was a huge fan of the book "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" so I went into the theater expecting it to be about the life of a squirrel who met the man who could talk to animals. Well, it was. I was surprised to find that this movie was actually much better than the book. The book was mostly just a story about the friendship between Walter Mitty and Munch, the big cat. I thought the story was going to be about Walter and Munch bonding over the fact that Walter is an honorary Canadian. What they did was that the story was set in the early 1900's, just after the Great Depression. Walter Mitty (voiced by Phil Hartman) is a fur-trading newspaper columnist. He is also a father who has been at war. His daughter, Helen (voiced by Rene Russo) is a young woman who is in love with a man named Peter. The story goes on like that until the end. I like that they actually did not have an actor who played Walter Mitty. It would have been more of a "caper" type of movie, where everyone is pretending to be Walter Mitty, but it would have been a little boring. The story is interesting because it is a "little" different. The story actually starts off in 1909, so there are a few funny lines and some funny moments. I really enjoyed the interaction between Walter and Munch. I would recommend this movie to anyone who has read the book or watched the movie. It is a good family movie, and it does not contain any of the parts of the book that were not in the movie.

An animated version of the classic fairy tale The Snow Queen. It was pretty much a slam-bang, rockin' tale with lots of laughs. Even if it wasn't a classic, it was still fun. I don't see why everyone is calling this the worst movie ever. It was OK. It had some serious flaws, but overall it was good. Not great, but good. This movie was kinda "ok" for a children's movie. Don't expect a whole lot of action, and don't expect some great story lines. It was just a fun, nice little movie. I recommend this movie for all ages. I saw it on my first viewing and liked it. My mom had a hard time with it at first, but she gave it a second viewing and she really enjoyed it. This movie was made for kids. 8/10

I have a feeling that "the muppets" have a lot of popularity among children, and it's a shame that they've not done more in the adult market. They are such a charming, clever group of characters and it would be great if they were allowed to grow up into bigger, more mature characters. This movie is about a young boy named Oliver, who is having trouble fitting in at school. One day, he meets a friendly elephant named Mumble. Oliver is so excited to meet Mumble, that he finds him in the river, and they begin a friendship that is to become one of the greatest of all time. This is an incredible movie for the whole family, and it has a great message about friendship. The songs are wonderful, and the animation is fantastic. It's a movie for kids, and adults as well, but I really recommend this movie to anyone.

I found myself a little more attached to the film than most. I felt a little ripped off and gave up on the film after the first third. I did however find it very enjoyable and very funny. I do not think that it was Oscar worthy, but it was very good. I give this film a 7/10.

I'm not an AFI fan, but I am a fan of many of their films, and this is the first time I've seen one of theirs that I like. The main character, Bear Tooth (Chris "Pee Wee Herman" Hartnett), is a stereotypical snowman bear, a unique type of bear that lives in the mountains. The other characters are more important in the story and show the rest of the bear family in a positive light. The voice actors do a good job with the characters, especially Bear Tooth. The movie is fun and entertaining, and is a great family movie. I really enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone.
