The last two years (1888-1890) in the life of Vincent van Gogh are presented, those years spent largely in southern France, most specifically Arles. He is driven by his art and what his art means to him, as opposed to the primary goal of making money, which he does not in not selling any of his paintings and thus being supported financially and emotionally by his brother, Theo van Gogh. As opposed to his friend and fellow artist Paul Gauguin who has a modicum of success, Van Gogh is seen as less contemplative about his work due in large part to the speed at which he paints and what is seen as the haphazard style of thick strokes of paint on the canvas, but he is arguably more contemplative regardless of how prolific he is. That overall contemplative nature manifests itself more as madness, seeming or real, as demonstrated by an infamous act concerning his left ear.

Well, I was quite excited about this film. I loved the book. I had read about it and was thinking it would be one of those films that was going to be something special. I have to say that I was surprised. The film is really a documentary, and is, I think, very well made. I think the film does a good job of capturing the feel of the book and makes you want to read it over again. The plot is the film's main weakness. It's very thin. If you read the book and don't like it, it's not that big of a deal. It just isn't the same. The main problem I had was that I just didn't like the book enough to feel like I had watched a film. This was a good film though. It was just not as good as the book. It was an okay film, but I think it could have been better. In the end, I give it a 6/10.

Some have compared this film to Apocalypse Now, and while there are some similarities, I don't think it is much of an adaptation of a story. The one thing that is different in this movie is the style. Most of the scenes in this movie are in black and white, which is completely different from the style that was in the first movie. I think this movie is a work of art. I give it an 8/10.

I loved this movie. This was a real story. The movie is based on real events and the events are very similar to what happened to the boy who played Jack in the play. The movie was very believable. This is how it happened. The ending was very nice. The only downside to this movie was that it seemed like there were parts that were completely unnecessary. The first part of the movie was too boring for me. The second part of the movie was amazing. The ending was great. If you like history and/or romantic movies, you will love this movie. I definitely recommend it. I give it a 8/10.

Richard Harris plays Stephen Dedalus, a successful Irish photographer. Dedalus was a pioneer in his field and during his time he was responsible for the founding of the First National News Service, The Dublin Free Press, the Evening News, the Sunday Times, and many other publications. He also wrote numerous novels. He was a good friend of Henry Fonda, a journalist who would meet with him to discuss and advise on stories, and was very critical of Fonda's approach to the job. When Fonda joined the newsroom as a photojournalist, he was immediately put in charge of covering the riots that broke out in Dublin. During the riots, Stephen told his story of the riots, and told Fonda of the events that transpired, and how the riots led to the country being paralysed. He said that the Irish media were the most sympathetic people to the rioters, and he would only take pictures of the riots. In the end, however, he would never again take a photograph of the rioters, and he became very disappointed with Fonda. When Stephen and Henry went to New York, Stephen said he had made a huge mistake, and he was going to get his revenge. I have to admit that I have never read the novel "Eternity's Gate", but I was still left with a lot of ideas about what could have happened had Stephen not made the choice he did. The movie follows this theme in a very gripping and realistic way. There are a few 'gotchas' that you will have to sort out, but once you do, it is very satisfying and makes the movie very rewarding. It is interesting to see how the media reacted to the riots in the 60's, and I think that a lot of this can be compared to today, with people questioning the media's role in the news, or the role of the press in society. It was also interesting to see the extent to which people thought that the IRA was trying to get control of the press. In my opinion, it was the Irish who tried to get control of the press, and I think that the media was the people's greatest ally in the media's attempt to control the media. This is the movie I would have chosen to see, and I think that it is very interesting and very rewarding. 9/10

This is a very interesting and unique story that actually gets into the heart of a great story. In many ways it feels like the opposite of "The English Patient" (the one that had William Hurt and Billy Connolly as the main characters), but I like the combination of the two stories in "Eternity's Gate". The scenery is magnificent, especially the outdoor scenes. The characters are so real, and it feels like this movie was really happening. And I felt like I was there. But, I did not feel like I was there during the actual events of the story, so I felt that it was an entirely different story. I think the performances were good, but it did not feel like they were on screen during the events. The story is very difficult to understand, but it is definitely worth watching, and I definitely recommend it. I rate it a 8/10.

I thought this movie was a wonderful portrayal of the era of the Depression. It was a time when people were left to fend for themselves, the economy was in shambles, and the Great Depression was still fresh in everyone's minds. The characters were very realistic, with no one being above the other, and the movie made the audience sympathize with the characters. I thought the performances were excellent. The cast was excellent, with Billy Crudup doing a fantastic job as the man trying to get through life. The movie was not without it's faults, however. I felt the movie was a bit slow at times, especially in the beginning, but once the characters were introduced and had their own adventures, it really picked up. It was an excellent movie and I would recommend it to anyone who has not seen it.

This film is pretty good. The performances are all good, especially Keitel as the older and wiser Willem Dafoe. The film is obviously influenced by the film "Gandhi", but this is a film that is based on a true story, and although it is a true story, it isn't a particularly good film. I thought the film had some interesting points to make about history and its effects on the present day. I don't think the film was particularly well written, nor was it particularly well directed. I don't think the film was particularly well acted. But I think the film is a good film about a true story, and I think that is what makes the film worth watching. I do recommend it.

I had seen this film in the theater several times and I still love it. It is a great movie to watch on a rainy day and it is a must see for anyone who enjoys a good movie. It is about a man named John Wilkes Booth, who is known as "the assassin" and was the mastermind behind the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. After the assassination, Booth became the head of the Union Army. During the war, Booth escaped from the prison and became the head of the Confederate Army. Booth was a man who was a great leader and leader of men. During the war, Booth's mind became fractured and he became very confused. During his escape, Booth was captured by Union General John Pope and he was sentenced to death. However, he was not executed. He was captured by Union General William T. Sherman and he was sentenced to death. After the war, Booth was finally executed. He was buried in Arlington National Cemetery. This movie is very good because it is about a man who was an amazing leader. Also, it is a very good movie to watch on a rainy day. I would recommend this movie to anyone. It is a must see. This is a great movie for all ages.

Well I think this movie is really good. I watched it and it really helped me to get a more understanding about the events of that great event. Although I am a Christian, I think the movie is really important and important for the message it presents. I love the movie. It is a very interesting story of a man who died during the Nazi-Nazi era and who tried to be with God by writing a book that, in his eyes, would tell his story. The movie is about his death and it is about his life. And also it is about his daughter who has never been with him, because of his death. I think that the movie is a good movie, because of the message it tells and because of the message it tells about the events of that great event. Also it is a movie with great acting and a good message, because of the subject it presents. The movie is really worth watching.

A very well made film about a young man's life and death, and about the unfortunate circumstances which led to his death. It is also a very moving film about the dangers of suicide and how society can destroy anyone who attempts it. The film does a good job of conveying the tone of the film, and of showing how the characters were not what they seemed. It is not at all like a typical film about a suicide. The film also shows the problems of how to handle suicide and how society can make it seem normal. The film is not perfect though. The film does seem to move in a different direction, and some scenes seem to go on too long. Also, there is a scene in the film that seems to be overly long. It seems that it was added because the director wanted to show how the characters were dying and the film seemed to need it. The film is also very slow in some parts, which I think is a problem. Overall, I think the film was very well done, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes historical films.

The story of the life of John Steinbeck and his experiences in the Great Depression is told in a highly stylized and entertaining manner. The acting is top notch and the story, which is well told and entertaining, is quite moving. As I said in my summary, the film is a great way to spend an hour and a half and the actors do a wonderful job. I recommend this film highly.

I saw this movie at the Canadian Film Festival, and I must say, I liked it. I was impressed with the production values, the acting, the costumes, and the scenery. However, the acting and direction were not up to the mark, which left me somewhat disappointed. The actors did a good job, and the director did a good job. However, there were a few things I did not like. For example, the ending was not at all satisfying. It seemed as though it was rushed. Also, I did not understand the scenes where some of the characters were discussing politics, which was not very realistic. The movie did not give you much information about the characters, and some of the characters were not well developed. The director did not explain the reason for the group's actions. The movie could have used more details about the characters. Lastly, I did not like the way the movie ended. I thought it was not satisfactory. However, I still enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to other moviegoers.

I saw this movie with a group of people. We were all looking forward to seeing it. We were all impressed with the acting. I was disappointed that I could not hear all of the dialogue, and that some of the actors did not have the right accents. I was especially disappointed that they did not have the right accent for the Native Americans. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a good movie.

A very rich film on this subject, containing a lot of historical information about the real events. The director, Daniel Kwan, is a great teacher of his subjects. Great historical information is provided. However, I think that the film is too long, at 3 hours and 4 minutes. It should have been shorter. In addition, it seemed a bit dull in the last part of the film. I would give it 8/10.

For those of us who have loved both a good movie and a good book, this is a must. It's an excellent companion piece to the wonderfully textured "Odysseus", a powerful epic drama that merges tragedy, poetry, and narrative with the characters and the strange forces that could and did come between them. Here, we have a simpler version of the same story, which is a pleasure, a very gentle, and yet at times overwhelming pleasure. But this is not a "festive" film. We follow the tale of a young boy from broken home to being sent to boarding school in Scotland. He is terribly abused by his grandfather, and almost killed in an accident. He goes through an extraordinary emotional journey from a boy who feels that he is nothing to the one who knows he is to a grown man who has learned the value of friendship and life. The story is very moving, and in particular, the last scene, when the boy finally reaches the end of his journey, is beautiful. The only weak point of the movie was the occasional use of profanity. I am not sure that this is the way a movie should be made, but I was glad to know that this is not the case. The music was excellent and the score was in harmony with the images of the movie. This is a good movie to watch on a rainy day.

In spite of its rather long runtime, I found it a bit tedious and, at times, hard to follow. This is mainly due to the choice of actors, which is less than perfect. In particular, Tom Hanks is just too much like him, but in other respects is much more like his portrayal of Terence Stamp in "Stuck on You", which is fine. I can't help but feel that, in portraying Stamp, Hanks has lost some of his intensity, and I don't think he can do that much better, or be that much more expressive. However, the best performance of the film comes from the very young Jeff Daniels, who plays a very complex character, and is completely believable. I also found his performance to be the best in the film, and I think it is worth a look.

A great movie, but would have done much better as a mini-series. Still, it's a very watchable, high energy drama. It follows several families, each in their own time, all struggling with life, at some point, the tears of a character, that gets to be the show. There are a couple of good jokes, and some good observations on the conflict in life. It's not perfect, but I was looking forward to it, and was quite surprised. The people are all different, but they all have their reasons, and struggle with the world around them. The documentary/movie style is excellent, the use of humor is almost perfect. It makes you really feel, and understand the characters, and also the stories. I recommend this film to anyone.

I was very disappointed with the film. It wasn't as good as the book. In fact, it wasn't even close. It was very disjointed and the characters were not developed. The acting was just OK, and I thought the characters were quite stereotypical. I thought they were all too much alike. It was not a very good film and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I've read some of the reviews here and the people who do not like the movie are not very intelligent. I'm sure they're not all idiots. I'm not an intellectual, but I have to admit that this movie had me on the edge of my seat. I'm not sure I could describe it in words, but it was quite a thing to see. The acting was great, the script was very good, the direction was excellent. The music was very appropriate. I didn't like the ending, but it didn't make me want to walk out of the theater. I thought the ending was very good. It's not an ending that is a spoiler, it's just a good ending. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good movie with good acting, direction, and music. If you haven't seen it, go see it now. You won't regret it. 10/10.
