That one was the best movie I have ever seen. Also, the entire cast was awesome, the only thing that was a little lacking in this movie is the costuming, which I thought was the best part of this movie. I loved the stuff they did for the high school football team, and they did a great job with the football scene. I really didn't want to see them throw a football against the wall, because I thought it would look lame and it wasn't. Overall, I would recommend seeing this movie, if you haven't already. I definitely would recommend it to people who love soccer.

I didn't even know that this movie was made until I had just seen it the other night. I was about 6 years old when I first saw this film, and I saw it for the first time several times until I could watch it without looking at my hands or feet. Then, in 2007, I got the DVD and I tried to play it again for the first time in years, but I couldn't figure out the jokes. Finally, I put it away in my DVD collection. Finally, I got the VHS version and I was able to play it for the first time in nearly 30 years. I really liked the humor in this movie, the almost perfect cast, the wonderful lines that hit you like a ton of bricks. The story line is simple, but it's a good story line, with a moral that may have you thinking long and hard about what you are doing when you walk through the airport. I must admit, the mother of the child featured in the movie is the best supporting actress I have ever seen. The film makers deserve to be on the Today Show. Though I will still probably watch it every year, I think that this movie is worth watching and should be more widely seen.

Its been awhile since I saw this movie and I really enjoyed it. It is very creative and has an original and unique plot. I am surprised at how many people left before the credits started to roll. I thought they were hilarious. Its really like a weird Shallow Hal episode. You really need to see it and then decide if you like it or not.

We have seen this movie about 10 times, mostly because it is my fav. 'subplot' - but this movie does contain a good message about the racism of Russia. Before seeing this film, i thought the situation of Russians in Russia was a 'no-no' scenario. After watching this film, i thought the situation was actually very serious. The main character(Sasha) is a representative of the team 'Eletka', and the main role of the players in this film is to tell the viewer of the negative nature of the team. We find out the following, in the negative sense, racism: a) there are no roles, just two guys who play for no reason, b) they play with very few sports equipment, c) they wear some stupid jerseys, d) the majority of the time they make a foolish, useless, stupid choice of players. e) all of them are black. f) the team is poor, they are not able to buy proper equipment, g) all the problems (with this team) are caused by the team members. h) the coach's son is of a poor family, the reason is obvious. i) the most important reason why this team is in the situation it is in is because of the group of idiots that serve as their mentors, especially the coach's son. Our main character is dealing with very negative, very serious problems and he resolves to solve them by creating a football club (from the group of idiot which serves as his mentors). Finally, it is a story about a realistic and serious issue. In my opinion, the movie is worth the watch.

Well, I guess this is not the best movie ever made. It's definitely not the best American film. And for a gangster film, the story line is one sided. I don't think it's the reason why people hate the film. For the type of people who like a big story line and big action sequences, I think it's a really good movie. But for a movie that lacks real substance and gives an interesting and sometimes funny story, it's pretty disappointing. That's what I think about the main reason why the film is not better. Another reason could be that the film was slightly off. The casting of the characters is so bad that the film is so easy to hate. Like, I can't believe that the character Ewan McGregor, played by Adam Sandler, is in this film. McGregor is such a great actor that he plays a character that was never much of a part in the original film and in some respects makes the film look like a sequel to the original film, but the real problem is that the character does not develop. And as soon as he does something that shows that he has grown and learned, the character just disappears. Meanwhile, there are three other characters in the film that do not develop at all. In the end, I can't help but think that this film is one of the worst and the worst that Sandler has done since Big Daddy.

Fantastic film. I remember vividly when it came out as a very young boy, I thought it was a great story of working class heroes who should be great but are really the most humbly of heroes. I have watched this movie on numerous occasions and I'm still enthralled by the story. As the story progresses, you find yourself wanting to know more about the characters and the different points of view they're dealing with. Is that woman always right? Was the gentleman a good citizen or just a decent guy? The dialogue between the players is spot-on and the ending was very strong. I hope I have the opportunity to see the film again soon.

*Warning Spoilers* If you are expecting to watch something like "When A Man Loves A Woman" then you will probably enjoy this film. The first thing that strikes you is the look of the film. It's a poorman's "Mystic River" but with a colour scheme which is reminiscent of "Midnight Cowboy" and a style which is very reminiscent of "Midnight Express". The music is probably the best thing about it, and all the sound effects are there for the purpose of using them. The actors (Ron Silver, Patricia Arquette, Tom Berenger, Martin Landau, Gabriel Byrne, Jeff Daniels) give great performances, especially Goldblum, who you can almost see as the lead. As for the football scenes, you know what you're getting into when you see the film. This is a film about football, but to use the term "football" in this context makes the film less than it could have been. "Anyways, football has nothing to do with the story, it's a representation of how the two young men become involved in what is basically an illegal battle for the bottom of the barrel - the most coveted club in the world - by competing against one another to win the freedom and a piece of the famous gold". Good use of metaphors but what's the point of a football match if you don't have a football? And the "drugs, gambling and prostitution" scene would have worked better in a film like "The Player" but the director thinks that isn't a bad thing, by including it it's not a film at all. Anyway, you can still find this film. It's about football, but not about football. Good use of metaphors, but in a film that's only 1 hour 45 minutes long you'll find something else to watch.

An extremely beautiful movie about a school football team that comes to the Soviet Union after the fall of the Iron Curtain. The film's plot is that the teams consist of 13 young men, one of whom is a 30 year old guy who just started playing soccer. Each of the 13 players also have their own personal problems, and the team struggles to find a team in the Soviet Union. The movie is extremely entertaining, with outstanding performances from the entire cast, and the effects are really good. The music score is also very good. I would recommend this movie to people who like football, or just look at old Soviet movies.

One thing I love about Harry Potter movies is that they are aimed to the fans and will appeal to them the most. The books are excellent and so the films. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was one of the best of the series. However I thought that it was a little dull and too long. So when the Warner Brothers decided to bring the stories back together it was time to have another take on the book. The original Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was so much better than this and I was hoping that they would go back to the basics of the stories. But sadly, this was a big disappointment. The plot was very flat, boring and predictable and was rushed through. The characters were very one dimensional and did not give the audience any of the depth that the book gives the characters. The actors are all great and I was thoroughly impressed with the performances of the three leads but the young actors did not have the right words to say to give the audience the right feeling. I can't remember a time when the cast was so flat and I am surprised that the director didn't notice it. The story itself was a good enough adaptation of the book but lacked the extra depth that the book gives the characters. So while I enjoyed the film, I found it very disappointing and could have done without the long and slow pace of this one.

The movie was a shame to miss this one.The movie is set in the 1950's and tells the story of two brothers in the Mexican town of San Miguel (the most cosmopolitan in the country).The brothers start their coaching careers at the same time and they lead each other through this age group.Each one of them is a legend in the sports,but both are trying to break through the barriers set by the older generation.You can't expect a comedy movie for the younger audience because you have to follow a story that reaches the group of the youths.The movie has its fair share of drama,sadness, and humor.It is a movie for those who enjoy a history lesson.

I can not remember the last time I was so impressed by a movie. This movie gave me such a different view on life. Not only was the movie great, but its message was so original. Just great.

For some people the "coming of age" story is more real than what life offers. This movie is a great story that delivers. It shows that even in a serious time you can still have fun and make great friends. The characters are just as deep as real people. The coach is a man with many strengths, a man who believes in his team and his team because he has seen the better side of the world. His friend is also a man who believes in his friend. These two friends create great bonds because of their own experiences and the hard times they had to come from. This is true coming of age story that will touch you and you will be sad that you will never have the feeling of being a normal teenage student. A great movie that doesn't give a lot of details but shows you what life is and that even bad things can be turned into something good. Excellent movie, from what I have read it has no sequels and it has the biggest part of the story in the beginning of the film.

I've just watched this in IMAX 3D. One of the best films I've seen in 3D. I never would have guessed that this was based on a true story. I didn't think this movie was going to be in 3D. I had heard nothing about this movie. I figured they were going to show a kid get molested by some mafia people. Nope. As soon as the movie started, I was hooked. It had the best acting I've seen in any movie since "Allied". I couldn't stop thinking about this film for hours. I saw the same movie several times. I just had to see it in IMAX 3D. The cinematography was incredible. I found it very hard to believe that there were only scenes in this film that were in 3D. The whole film was breathtaking and totally unforgettable. I recommend this movie to any movie goer, including the kids. It's amazing what a movie can do to a person. This movie deserves a 10. If there were a worst movie, I would have to give it a 7. This is a movie that everyone should see at least once.

I don't like football but I liked this movie because I was so captivated by the characters. I can't tell you the full story. I love how the characters are going to meet, talk and do things like "the old man" did. I'm not a great fan of football and I couldn't care less what the game was about. That doesn't mean I don't love football. The first time I saw it, I watched it on HBO. I watched the whole thing back to back, all the way through. I love it. I just wish I'd watched it the first time and would have been able to have been as involved with the characters. I can only hope that it comes out on DVD soon.

This movie was great. I didn't expect much after the trailer. It was surprising. I expected another soccer movie that was just soccer, with no substance. Instead I was surprised. In an age where the United States continues to fight to stop terrorism and want to spend more money on the military, they managed to show that football could be one of the best methods to help our country in the fight against terrorism. It is a bit unbelievable, and maybe I'm just in the wrong era to understand it, but the point is that soccer could be a powerful weapon against terrorism. It is a great movie that shows the effects of terrorism in a beautiful way. The movie is not so great because of the characters or because of the plot. It is great because of the scenery. It is also very realistic, and it is not just about the actual match, it is about a people's feelings for the country. There is no doubt that this movie is highly acclaimed in the States, and I know a few people in the United States that were surprised at the movie. I hope it is nominated for an Oscar, and I hope that it gets an award. I would recommend this movie to any other nationality. It is a must see for any movie lover.

First of all I have to tell you that I watched this movie not expecting much and I wasn't that disappointed when I left the cinema. This is the film you have to see it a few times to make it really pay off, but once you do you won't regret it. The acting was very good, I have to say that they worked really well with each other and it made the story extremely interesting and also kept you glued to the screen. Also, I didn't really like the ending which felt forced and messy. As I mentioned before the acting was very good, the direction was very good and the cinematography was amazing. Overall, I think you should go and see this movie if you haven't, otherwise you might not enjoy it at all. 8/10.

this is one of those movies that you should watch over and over, but when you do watch it, it's always watch it because it's hilarious. i love when the characters are the best you've ever seen. it's hard to imagine how funny it was when the girl says to the guy that they were right before, it was so awkward. i would recommend this movie to everyone, as a comedy. i guess the lines could be better, but it's a good movie, that you can laugh at. I've watched it a dozen times now and i still love it. the actresses that played the queens were pretty good too. not that i'm a big fan of theirs, but they did a good job with the film. i definitely recommend this movie. if you want to watch a funny film, this is a good one, but if you want something that will make you laugh for an hour, watch this movie.

I recently saw this film and have to say that it was a very well-acted film, and surprisingly well-made. The story was very good and well-written, and the characters all did well with their lines. Although I did think that the movie was a little too short for such an interesting story. Although it did start off slow, it did pick up quite quickly. I think if this film was a little longer it would have really had me thinking about it after watching it. But overall, it was a very well-done film, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to see a good film. A little too short for my liking, but it does have a good ending.

this was not a very good movie, but i must say that its a good story, i must say that it wasnt very dramatic, but it was very funny. because of the way that the characters were. i must say that they were excellent. although the plot isnt very good, but if you like football you should see this film. i am very very happy that i saw it. because it was a very good movie and i give it 8 out of 10.

I've seen this movie about 3 times and each time it always gets better. I thought that the screenplay was excellent. I think that the message of the movie was brilliant. I feel that every scene in the movie was perfect and that the actors did a great job. You will probably find many characters that you recognize. When you think about it, the movie takes place in the 1980's and in particular the 80's in Mexico. You would definitely have seen a lot of different things in the 80's that you wouldn't have seen in the 80's. We could see the country on fire with drug gangs, sex trafficking, mass murders and many other things. I hope that this movie will help inspire many people to be able to see the real problems in the world. It would make them a lot better if they read some books or just saw some movies on the big screen to learn more about the real problems that the world has today. What I can tell you is that this is a must see movie that will give you a lot of information about the world that you just wouldn't be able to get from reading a book. A movie that I'll definitely watch again and again. And I still don't get tired of it.

Not a shabby character-driven comedy, although the narrative changes direction enough throughout to completely confuse. Minor spoilers: Think "Zathura" again, and it's only a few words away. It's not a major improvement, but it is very funny. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the "true" ending, because it's nothing you haven't seen before. "Madam, I'm a beautiful woman who looks like a man, and I think that I'm a man." But "that's OK." This is a really very interesting and funny movie.

1) America is the biggest country in the world and yet 2) Mexico is a third world country. Why is that? The story is told in a good way, a bit like you might have read in a book. This could have been a good film, but the ending is a bit of a let down. I do not think I have ever read a movie that contained more disappointments. Anyway, it is a film worth seeing.
