It was like a mixture of the original monster designs and the Monster's designs. But overall, I did not have too many problems with this film. I did not want to see the scene with the slaves from the Great Wall. That scene was way too dark and sad. However, I was very pleased with the overall movie. I do not know what was the reason why the great wall was not longer. The Great Wall in the book was longer and it was divided into many places. I would like to see it in the movies. Overall, I think the movie was excellent. I do not think it was overrated but I do think that it is good and it is worth seeing.

The acting is quite good, and the actors manage to put you in the character of the characters, which is a difficult feat. The direction is excellent, and the soundtrack is very good. I think the film is worth watching, and I'm really looking forward to the sequel. 9/10

Being a Chinese, I watched this movie quite a few times. I love the Chinese culture and its special effects. But the story is really poor. The scene where the prince appears to the mayor of Beijing, the police commander makes a stupid decision and the movie ends with the protagonist being arrested. The film lacks good and meaningful scenes. There are too many scenes with stupid decisions and scenes that are not related to the story. For example, in the morning, the principal of the high school greets the principal of the school. There is no connection with the scene. The entire movie is stupid. Even if the story is poor, the film has some interesting scenes. The scenes when the protagonists are fighting are so well made. They have been carefully chosen to tell the story well. But, for the story, I think it's very poor.

I think the budget was about 3 million dollars and the movie was more than 200 million. This is a movie that can only be seen in China! I was really disappointed, but I still don't know why.
