This is the story of a young man, Matt Larkin (Danny Huston), who has escaped from a plantation in Alabama to a life of crime. He has become a farmhand, and is the older brother of Tom Larkin (Danny DeVito) a wealthy and well respected farmer. He has a home in Kentucky and is in a new relationship with a young woman named Christine (Sandra Bullock). There are many aspects of the story that are well known and many are new. It is also told in flashbacks, and the "revelation" of the movie is told through the eyes of Larkin. The basic story is that Larkin is not really a good person, but is still his brother's keeper. When Tom's wife dies, Larkin tries to help Tom with his business, but Tom doesn't want to part with his money. Larkin tells the story of the man that he has been to prison for, that he had a wife, and that he is now the father of the farmer's daughter. He also tells the story of how he came to be a farmer, and his connection to a young man named Chik Chuk (Jermaine Clement). The story is told in flashback, and when you are sitting at the movies, you can't help but see that it is all happening to Matt. The plot was very good and engaging, but the ending is a bit off and I had to look away. The acting was good, but the direction is not the best. It is a bit unfocused and not nearly as interesting as the story is. I will give it an 8 out of 10. My rate is 8 out of 10.
This movie is so good I can't understand how it didn't get nominated for a Best Picture. I can't even remember the last time I saw a movie that made me cry. I was so moved by this movie that I will watch it over and over again.
I was a little skeptical about this movie, but I decided to give it a try. It is a good movie, well acted, and very well done. I would recommend this movie to anyone, because it is a very good movie. The actors are very good, and the story is very interesting. I would say that this is a great movie for everyone to watch. I give this movie a 10 out of 10. It is a very good movie. I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see a great movie.
I really enjoyed this movie. It was well-written and entertaining. There were a lot of good characters that were developed and you get to see their problems and motivations. I did like the pacing. It was slow, but it was interesting. The cinematography was excellent and used a lot of landscape and nature. The actors were good, especially the lead actress who played with a lot of emotion and felt it. I do think that the film could have been longer, but I don't think that was a big problem. The film did have a lot of action, but I don't think it was overdone. It wasn't very violent or gory, but there were a few fights and physical injuries. Overall, I think this film is a very good movie.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I went to see this film, but when I came out of the cinema, I was thoroughly impressed. I am not a fan of westerns, but I have always loved the drama of the western. It is the classic western that has changed over time and now has more elements that are important to the western genre, but some elements still remain true. The characters have changed and evolved throughout the years, but it still feels like the same old story. It is a great film to watch. I have seen it on DVD and on Blu-ray and I am very pleased with the extras. I am glad that the DVD is being released as it is a great addition to the series. The story is excellent and I was also impressed with the acting. I am sure that there will be many more westerns in the future. I would recommend this film to anyone, especially those that enjoy the drama western genre, but not necessarily the action western genre.
I read the other comments, and the one that made the most sense to me was that this movie was bad because it wasn't like "The Shawshank Redemption". I don't think that is what they were trying to convey, but I guess I missed the point. I loved the story and the characters, and so did most of the audience. The dialogue was crisp and witty, the action was fast and well choreographed, and the story was riveting. The action scenes were of course well staged and well shot. I really enjoyed the character development of the characters. The characters were well developed, and I felt for them. There was not one character who I did not like, and most of the characters I had a crush on. The pacing of the movie was very good, and I did not have to fast forward through scenes to catch a new one. It was a great movie, and I would recommend it to anyone.
I was expecting a light, comic book movie but I was pleasantly surprised. The actors and director did a great job of bringing the story to life. There were no over the top or unnecessary scenes. The ending was perfect and the cast was perfect for the role. It was a good mix of realism and fantasy. I really enjoyed this movie and look forward to seeing it again.
I enjoyed this film very much, and I'm sure it will stay with me long after I've seen it. It is very unusual to see a film about the Vietnam War, because most films about the war usually focus on the fighting. This film, though, shows that the fighting is important, and that it's sometimes better to leave a little of the killing to others. It's about a guy (Saul Rubinek, as he was then) who helps out in his dad's clothing factory, and his "problem child" friend (Kevin Costner, who's amazing in this movie), who is always "hungry". In other words, he's a lot like his father. I thought the acting was excellent, and the story was very well done. I also liked the way the film showed how good the music was in the movie, and how great the cinematography was. All in all, it was very good.
I'll be honest, I was skeptical when I first heard about this film, but once I watched it, I have to say I am extremely glad I watched it. I've seen many bad reviews about this movie and it's the kind of film that just makes you think that maybe the critics are right. This is a film that tells you that people can be too harsh and call them names, because they are the people that we need to listen to. And by the way, you might be surprised to see how many other people have similar experiences. The acting is great, especially from Jeremy Piven, but I thought that the girl who played the girl's mother was the best. The film is very moving and even though it's about a man who makes a promise to his wife to do something for her, he still feels the need to get married. The end of the film, though, is a little disappointing, but I still think it's worth watching. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves true stories.
One of the best westerns I've seen in a while. I loved it. The cast is excellent and the dialog is powerful. The story is unique and true to the real life story of John Wilkes Booth and the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. The movie is very violent and contains graphic images, but it is not glorifying violence. It's about a man who has lived through violence and in the end he has to make peace with his demons. I think it is a great movie that everyone should see.
The Western has always been my favorite genre. As such I was hesitant to see this movie. I am a Western fan but the movie didn't hit my expectations. The story was intriguing but I felt the pacing was slow. It was a very difficult movie to sit through. I also found the acting to be off. I thought that the acting was good but the rest of the acting was very poor. It was very hard to connect with any of the characters. I felt that the majority of the actors were inconsistent. The main character was very flat. The rest of the actors were mediocre. The only actor that really stood out to me was C. Thomas Howell. I thought that he was excellent in the movie. I did like the movie but it was a very difficult movie to sit through.
Richard Harris is a man who really doesn't understand what is going on in the world around him. He's a man who was raised by his mother but it's been five years since he and his mother have been able to talk about things. The only thing that he has is a haunted house where he lives with his mother. He has no idea what is happening in the house and when he goes to go get some help, he finds it's too late. He then goes back to his house to try to understand what is happening and he discovers that things are really happening in the house. It's a strange movie with Richard Harris but it's good. I really liked it.
I just finished watching this movie with my mom, and after we were done watching it, she said that it was the best movie she ever saw. I also agree with her, it's an awesome movie. I really think that everyone should go and watch this movie at least once. I was impressed with this movie. I was shocked with the amount of violence that was shown in this movie. The amount of blood in this movie was so great. The actors that played the people in this movie, they did a great job. They did a good job portraying their characters. The movie also had great actors in it, and I would recommend this movie to everyone. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes to watch a great movie.
I was very impressed with this film. I found it very realistic and heart-wrenching. It's definitely worth seeing. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see it. It's a film that I'll be recommending to all my friends.
This is an extremely enjoyable western that follows the same narrative template as the earlier (and much superior) western, "The Long Good Friday" (1956), and with a bit more restraint and less (unnecessary) violence, this is a far more interesting western, even if the main character is a bit of a jerk. Bill Paxton, the star of the original "Long Good Friday" and the original lead in this film, is also back as the hero of this one, and he does a good job. The setting is very western and it has a certain feel to it, and the setting is used to great effect. The original (the one with Billy Jack) was set in the northwest, while this one is in the midwest. The differences are as follows: 1. The hero is the "good guy" in the traditional sense, and his enemies are the "bad guys" in the traditional sense. 2. The bad guys are not as much bad guys as bad people. 3. The bad guy has no motive other than revenge, while the good guy is motivated by a love for his daughter and doesn't just want to kill bad guys. This movie is really interesting and it keeps you engaged throughout, and I was very impressed by the acting, especially by the main character's wife (Pierce Brosnan). I give it an 8 out of 10.
I'll begin by saying that I haven't seen the "soul-less" version of the movie. I thought it was bad but still have to say that the movie was good. It was a good watch and I am glad that I bought the DVD. I'm not a big fan of Clint Eastwood, but I do love his movies. I think that this was a great film. The story was good, the acting was good, and the scenery was great. I've never seen Clint Eastwood's western before and I was very impressed with this movie. I don't think I'll be seeing another Clint Eastwood western anytime soon. Overall, I thought it was a good movie. I gave it an 8 out of 10.
It's a western with a heavy emphasis on the characters. It's a film that keeps your interest throughout and leaves you feeling good about the choices you've made. This film also has a great soundtrack, great performances, a great story and amazing cinematography. It's a film that definitely deserves a higher rating than it has. It's not perfect, but it's a great film that has great elements to it. The characters are really well developed and I love how they manage to portray the themes of loss and redemption. The character of Ethan Hawke is amazing. His character is not just a mean and selfish jerk but is actually good at what he does. Also, I love how the western theme is portrayed in this film. I loved the style of the film, the soundtrack and the story. This film is definitely worth a watch. It's not a perfect film but it's definitely a great film.
I first watched this film in the 1970's and really liked it. I am very impressed with it today. This film is a wonderful depiction of early western society and even more interesting is that it doesn't hide the fact that the West was run by a couple of blood thirsty outlaws who were as vicious and blood thirsty as they were. All of the movie takes place in the American West, the stars in this film are always on horseback, the landscape is so beautiful, and the characters are interesting. The story is simple, yet very interesting. The movie does not skimp on the action and has a great flow. I am not sure how much more can be said about this film other than it is a great Western film, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys western films.
I have watched this film over a dozen times and have no idea how it keeps getting better and better. Every time I watch it I am blown away. Every time I watch it I am shocked at how much I like it. This is the best movie I have ever seen. I think it is the best western ever made. It is one of the most underrated movies ever. I love this movie and I think it deserves to be seen by anyone. It is one of the best movies ever made.
I have never been to a movie theater, but I went to see this movie last night and I was very impressed with the quality of the movie. The acting was very well done, the cinematography was excellent, the editing was very good, and the plot was interesting. I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to anyone. The only problem I had with the movie was that it was a little long, but I would have liked to have seen a little more of the story. However, this was not a problem for me, because I liked the movie and would like to see it again. The only reason I am not giving it a 10 is because the ending was a little disappointing. I thought the movie would end a little differently. But I would still recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys Western movies. The acting was very good and the story was very interesting. I would give this movie a 9 out of 10.
I found this movie in a Wal-Mart used book store. I was looking for something with a Western theme, and found this movie. I have never seen a Western movie that I really enjoyed, and I do not think I ever will. This movie had a lot of elements that I found interesting. I enjoyed the fact that it was set in the 19th century, and it was a small town. The townsfolk had a lot of class distinctions, with the rich people living in the mountains and the poor people living in the towns. The ending of the movie was very sad, and I think that was what it was all about. The actors all did a good job with their roles, but the whole movie seemed a bit more like a stage play than a movie. I think this movie will probably be forgotten, and I was not really impressed with it. I think it would be better to watch the movie in a theater, but that is not a big enough space to fit it all in one room. I would recommend this movie to someone who likes Western movies, and I think you would not be disappointed. I give this movie a 7 out of 10.
In my opinion, this is the best western ever made, and I like every western I've seen. I have to give this movie a 8 for it's realism, and I believe that it deserves to be an 8, because it is a great movie. I liked the story and I liked the realism. This is an excellent movie.
This is a great movie. I had a few problems with it but I could overlook them. First, there are some major plot holes and inconsistencies that don't hold up to a second thought. For example, in one scene a man is rifling through a map and a woman, clearly a German, is standing next to him. He makes a note of her name and goes to go look for her, but not a second later he returns to find her out and about. Then in another scene he is told by a German man that he must kill a French soldier who is a prisoner. Why do they not just kill the German man? Why are they going through so much trouble to bring the Frenchman to the camp? Also, a lot of the dialogue is stupid and disjointed, making it hard to follow. For example, in one scene the German prisoner is saying to the French, "You must be the French enemy". Then in the next scene he is telling his fellow prisoners that he is the German, and the German prisoner is asking the Frenchman, "Do you speak French?". If the German is supposed to be the enemy, why are they not at all bothered by the fact that he doesn't speak French? Secondly, I found the romance between the two prisoners and the German woman annoying. This is not really a romance. She is only there to seduce him and he is not attracted to her, so he doesn't really care about her. I also thought that the character of the German soldier was pretty uninteresting, although he did play a significant role. The main problem is that I was not much impressed with the action scenes. The action was very badly choreographed, and the scenes of the prisoner's escape were also very poorly done. I think that the main reason I wasn't much impressed with this movie is that it was too slow. The film was way too long. I was also very impressed by the performances of the cast. Robert Downey Jr. did a very good job, but he was also the best part of the movie. I think that this is his best role to date. Willem Dafoe also did a good job, but I think that the character of the prisoner was very irritating. In the end, I really liked the movie, but it was not for me.
I can't believe I'm typing this. My stomach is hurting. Yes, I admit, it's a very difficult movie to watch. Yes, it's brutal. Yes, it's not for the faint-hearted. But, after having watched it, I am a bit more forgiving. Sure, there are some flaws. But, if you're looking for a riveting and thrilling Western, then this movie is for you. It's a beautiful, dream-like, dream-like world. I don't want to give away anything of the plot, but, I can assure you that the characters are very real and believable. And, for me, the final scene is what is so beautiful about the movie. It's about the child who just wants to see her father. The idea that he won't accept her anymore is so real and sad. And, when he realizes this, the emotions just come out. It's a beautiful film. It's a beautifully directed film. The scenery, the cinematography, everything is so amazing. I love it. I'm giving it a rating of 8 out of 10, because it's a beautiful film and I love it. I'm glad it's not for the faint-hearted. It's not for the weak hearted.
In a film that was made for about a quarter of a million dollars, it's easy to see why it has an extremely low IMDb rating. The acting is not bad, but not great either. The cinematography is quite nice and the editing is very good. The story is, in my opinion, very good. It is very realistic, and I think that is the reason it is so popular. It is very hard to describe the plot because it is so good. I think it is best to watch it once, and then decide what you think. The violence is not too graphic, and I think that is what makes it so great. I think it is hard to be violent, because you feel bad about it. When you see someone getting killed, you can't help but feel that it is wrong. I think the best part of the film is when the main character, Jack, finds out what he is. It is the most interesting part of the film, and it is really worth seeing. I think this is the best film I have ever seen. I would recommend it to anyone who likes westerns, and it is worth seeing. 10/10.
I guess I'm a little biased when it comes to John Wayne movies, but this one was more than an enjoyable film. It was a good movie. John Wayne is a man that has all the qualities of a good actor. He is a very realistic man, a man who is forced to put his personal life and his business life in a box, and is very "realistic". The movie itself is a real one, and was filmed by John Wayne himself, and is very realistic. The movie is about a good man who is trying to make it in the business. The part that I really enjoyed about the movie was that John Wayne didn't do this movie for the money, he did it for his friends. That is what really makes the movie really great, the friendship that John Wayne and his wife had with his wife and his friends. Also, John Wayne's character was a bit of a "Citizen Kane" character. He was a very handsome man, and very "realistic". I also liked the music that was in the movie. It was great. I also enjoyed the fact that John Wayne was the one that actually wrote the music. In the movie, John Wayne also does his own singing, and that adds to the film. In the end, I liked this movie because of the friendship and the friendship between John Wayne and his wife, who is the main character in the movie. All in all, this is a good movie. 8/10
If you're not a fan of Westerns, then you should not watch this film. If you are, then you should watch it anyway. It is a brilliant film, with some of the best acting I have ever seen in a film. I have seen it twice now and it still holds up. I have no idea what the makers of this film were thinking, but they sure did make a very good film. The acting is top notch. The script is brilliant. The music is incredible. I have been looking for this film for years and I have finally found it. It is a masterpiece, and a must see for anyone who likes Westerns.
I found it hard to believe that this was an adaptation of a novel, or even the story of a major western in a single movie. It was too much, too fast, too much fun. If you love westerns, you'll love this movie. If you haven't heard of it before, you will. I will never forget this movie, the way I remember it. I remember seeing it in a movie theater in the 1970s. I wanted to see it again, but I knew it was on the "what's on TV" list. I finally went to see it, and I was so happy, I wanted to cry. I had to go back to see it again, and I bought it on DVD. It's such a great movie. It's not only a western, but it's a very good, very funny movie. I'll be telling my friends to go see this movie, because it's very rare to see a movie that makes you laugh, and it makes you laugh, and then you want to see it again, and again. It's a great movie. There is no real action, just a lot of fun and wonderful scenes. I recommend it to everyone. I just finished watching it, and I'm now going to buy it on DVD. It's great.
This is one of the more touching movies I have ever seen. This movie tells the story of a young boy named Jack Swagger (Dylan Minnette) who comes to a town called The Wild West. In The Wild West there are three outlaws: Bob and Walter West (Dylan's Dad and stepfather) and his son Jack Swagger. They are hunters, thieves, and robbers. The town is run by Captain John C. Calhoun (John Goodman) and his son W.W. Calhoun (Donald Sutherland). When Jack swagger comes to town, he is welcomed and soon they start making fun of him and his brother and his dog. The Wild West is run by a spoiled millionaire named Robert Munger (Bruce Dern) and his wife Charlotte (Leslie Ann Warren). When Jack is killed in a gun battle, Captain Munger gets away with the gun and all that is left is the gunsmith, the guns, and Jack's rifle. Jack is buried in a graveyard and the town decides to bury Jack's body with the only thing left of him is his gun. Jack's spirit is never truly seen. I think that is the main reason why the movie is so emotional and touching. Jack is the one who gives his life to keep The Wild West free. As a father I can relate to this movie because I have a brother who is in a similar situation. When Jack swagger comes to town, he is introduced to Captain Munger and the Wild West and Jack sees the way things are run. Jack then starts to change, and as the movie goes on, we see that he is now more of a man. Jack has a hard time adjusting to The Wild West. When he sees the guns and the money, he feels that he can do anything. He wants to do anything he wants and when he kills his brother, he goes after The Wild West. This movie is a great movie, and the acting is amazing. This movie also teaches a lesson about family, and I really loved this movie.
First off, I loved this movie. It's a western with a twist. It's the first of it's kind to make the western genre a true modern masterpiece. It's a great movie, especially for the time it was made. I think this movie shows that, while it's been a while since movies like this were made, there are still movies out there that are considered classics. I'm not going to spoil anything for you but there is a good mix of action and romance. There are plenty of twists and turns throughout the movie but it all comes together nicely at the end. It's a great movie and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes a western movie. It's a great movie and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a western movie.
This film was much better than I thought it would be. I had heard about this movie and I was very excited to see it. I went to see it with my boyfriend and he was not disappointed. It was good but not great. The acting was good, especially from Jim Carrey. He was fantastic. I also enjoyed the scenery and scenery was good. The story was good but the ending was not good. I think they could have left it a little bit longer. The music was good but not outstanding. It was a little slow in some parts. Overall I liked the film. I liked the story, the scenery, the acting, and the music. I would recommend this film to anyone who wants to see a good western.
What a wonderful film! I was fortunate to see it at the London Film Festival. It is a film about the three most important men in American history, namely Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and Robert E. Lee. The movie has a wonderful story about their relationship and the difficult relationship that they had with each other. The movie is very good and it is well directed and it is well acted. I also liked the movie because it shows that the three men had a deep love for each other and it shows that they had to struggle with each other. I have to say that the movie is very well directed and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see a great movie. It is a must see movie. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see a great movie.
I have seen "Sidney, Lot, and His Wife", "Tom and Jerry", "The Shadow", "The Movie", "The Producers", "The Hollywood Ten" and "The Player". Most of the movies are similar to each other in that they are all about a group of boys or men, who has to deal with the fact that their father has died or has to deal with a problem of some kind. But "Johnny Got His Gun" is different because the story is actually about a real person. It is about a man named Johnny Got His Gun (played by Anthony Hopkins) and it's about how he gets revenge on the people who killed his father. But the movie is not about revenge, it's about revenge against the people who murdered Johnny Got His Gun's father and his friend. So if you like a good revenge story then you should watch this movie. The film was directed by Joe D'Amato and the music by Richard Hell. It's a very good revenge story and it's a very good movie.
I saw this movie at a movie festival and loved it. It was very well done. The plot was interesting and interesting characters. The cinematography was very well done. It was beautiful. It was like watching a documentary. The story is very interesting. I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves Westerns, period pieces, or just a great movie. I give it a 10/10.
This is one of those movies where you can't help but say, "Wow. that was cool." I was able to watch it just as a TV movie with nothing more than a handful of other movies to distract me. In my opinion, it's the best of its kind, but you have to have seen a lot of other movies to really appreciate it. In the end, it's an interesting movie that you can just sit back and enjoy. You might not like it or agree with it, but you can't help but watch it. The one thing I've noticed in a lot of these Western movies is how they all have a lot of nudity and sex. This movie is the opposite. There are only a handful of scenes that involve nudity, and only one or two scenes that involve sex. That's not to say that there aren't any sex scenes in this movie. If you're in the mood for a Western movie, you'll like it.
A fascinating portrayal of a criminal's life from an intelligent perspective. I was somewhat disappointed that the ending was far more "romantic" than what I expected. The great performances by Woody Harrelson, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, and Alicia Silverstone were all very convincing. The last scene was a bit off in my opinion, but I'm sure the movie-goers will feel that way when they see the movie. Some of the details of the story were not spelled out very well, and there were parts that were completely unnecessary. The ending was not at all what I had hoped for. The film-makers probably felt that it would be a bit of a cop-out and only give the audience an unsatisfying conclusion. I hope that the viewers of the movie will leave with a better understanding of the true meaning of death and that they will leave with a smile on their face, not a sour one. It was a good movie and I enjoyed it very much. I will definitely be watching it again. * out of *
In the summer of 1873, the renegade Sullivans (Wes Bentley) and his brothers send a young white boy named Delilah (Elijah Wood) to the "unceded territory" of the Seminole Indians in the Florida Keys. In the meantime, he works for his Uncle Bob (Jude Law) as a slave and occasionally is beaten by the Seminole. Delilah gets married to a white man and takes the name Rose (Claire Danes), and the couple raise their family as one white and one Seminole. The first of many Willie Daughters is a fascinating story of a family made up of two white people and two Seminole Indians. Rose's husband is also a slave, and there is some mention of white indentured servants in the family. The story moves slowly to a point where Delilah has a child, but the child is not a Willie Daughter and the wife is more inclined to leave her husband than to take the child. Eventually, she decides to raise the child as her own. She learns that she has a white husband and the child, and she also discovers that she has a slave. She takes the child back to the home of her brother and her uncle Bob, and they adopt the child. They decide to raise the child as a black man, and the child grows up as a slave. The two parents and the child all live as slaves in the plantation, where they raise the child as one of their own. Eventually, the mother is determined to leave the plantation, but she is never allowed to do so. She remains a slave, and when she eventually leaves, she is living in a small house in the woods. Eventually, the slave-owner, Sam (Gary Sinise), hires an agent to find the mother, but she is never found. At one point, she even disappears altogether, and her children try to find her. Eventually, she is found by a former slave and freed by him, but it is too late for her. The film ends with the child and her uncle, Rose, living on the plantation, where they raise their own family as one white and one Seminole. They call themselves "Bonnie and Clyde" and live on the plantation with their own kind of justice.
I'm not a big fan of Westerns, but this one is good. It's not a great Western, but it's good. It has a great cast, and the cinematography is wonderful. I thought the story was kind of slow, but the actors are great. I really liked the performance of Jude Law, and I thought it was a good performance. I would recommend this to any Western fan, and anyone who enjoys a good Western.
A western cowboy and his horse from the 19th century decide to give him a go-around. The horse starts to doubt himself and finds out that he can't do anything. The cowboy returns from the dead and decides to teach him a lesson. This is a very good film. I was surprised that the western genre was taken over by a western, however it still remains a popular genre. If you like westerns, you will love this. I gave it an 8.8 out of 10. One star for the plot.
I had heard of this film for a while, and was eagerly awaiting the release. I was not disappointed. This film was made in 1969. The year of the Civil Rights movement. This film was a historical drama. The story was told from the viewpoint of the white man, the man who had to defend himself against a black man. The black man, in his own words, was "loud and proud". This is a film that is very well done. The acting was very good. The black actors did a good job of portraying the characters they were portraying. The white actor, in his own words, was a "straight shooter". This is a film that is well worth seeing. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.
I really enjoyed this movie, I've seen it 3 times in 3 days. I have a big question about the movie, is the story as simple as it looks, or is there a deeper meaning behind the story? I would like to know, and I am waiting for the DVD.
Moss (Wes Bentley) is a soldier who, after being injured in a shooting, has been paroled from the army. Moss is then sent to live with his estranged mother (Elizabeth Shue) and his grandmother (Helen Mirren). Moss is a hard, ruthless, and determined man. He is also a lot like his mother. However, when he finds out his grandmother is in the house, he decides to do something about it. It's a classic "one man against the system" movie. The film is filled with humor and is very entertaining. The plot is simple but works well. The characters are all believable. There are many great scenes that make the movie great. There is also a great performance by Bentley. He does a good job of playing a hard man. He is also very charismatic. The scenery is beautiful. The colors are vivid. There is a great soundtrack. There are also many great sound effects. The film is very good. It's not perfect but it is a very good movie.
This is a movie that keeps you thinking for days. I was shocked at how good it was. I thought it was going to be boring, but it wasn't. It kept you wondering what would happen next. I am glad I watched this movie, because I wouldn't want it to end. I think it was better than the book, but I am not sure about the book. If you are looking for a great movie, watch this one.
The film was very entertaining and very good. It had a good story, interesting characters, and an intriguing story. The first half of the movie was very slow, and lacked in action. It also lacked in suspense and the whole atmosphere was very sterile. The second half of the movie however, was very good. The story was much more interesting, the characters were much more interesting, and the movie was much more thrilling. In the end, it was a good film, and I would recommend it.
It was a nice, solid, well-written, well-acted film, and I liked it a lot. However, the story was so unbelievable that I did not find it very interesting. And the ending left me with a huge feeling of disappointment. I understand that this film is about the Wild West, but it is really hard to believe that a couple of people in the late 1800s would shoot down a British pilot, and then say to the pilot "Go back to your country, and be quiet!" That is just impossible! I do not know how the film makers managed to make it believable, but it was not believable. It was also hard to believe that a British pilot would suddenly shoot down a plane that had been out of his control for about 2 minutes. I could not believe it. The whole situation seemed so unbelievable. But the real disappointment for me was the ending. I did not like the ending, and I do not understand why they did not make the film more realistic. But then again, I am not a film critic, and I do not want to be one. I do not want to see a film like this. I did not like it, and I do not understand why. I was disappointed, but I am not sure if I will watch it again.
The story of a British gentleman who becomes a renegade Confederate soldier and decides to go off on a war to save the country from tyranny. The story is well done and it is hard to believe that this man was a decent man and lived in peace. But then the movie does end with a surprise. It is a good movie and very well made. It is also well acted and the scenery is beautiful. The movie does have some flaws and some scenes are too long, but the story is so good that it does not matter.
This movie is set in the late 1860s and tells the story of a young man named William Clay (Ryan Reynolds), who's family is being massacred by the evil, wicked, bloodthirsty, blood-soaked Georgia Company. He's the only one left, and he's forced to kill his entire family to save his life. It's an extremely powerful, moving, and inspiring story. The story is told from the point of view of Clay, and the viewer is constantly reminded of his survival. There are several layers to this story, and the viewer has to be able to see all of them at the same time. As the movie progresses, the viewer is given a clear understanding of the history of the Civil War and the Civil War era. The Civil War was a terrible war, and the horrors of the war are very well shown here. The Civil War Era is a great period of history, and this movie perfectly depicts the horror of the war, and the brutality of the war. As well, the film is extremely well-made. It's well-acted, well-directed, and it's visually impressive. The movie is a very powerful, heart-breaking, and inspiring movie. It is definitely worth seeing.
It's a shame to see a movie that was so great, but was ruined by the fact that the movie had such a low budget. I felt that they could have done a better job with this movie. It was very slow in places, and I felt that they tried to cram too much into it. I think the pacing could have been better, and the movie was quite long at times. I think it would have been better to have less of a western theme and more of a historical one. I think that it was a shame that the movie was ruined by the fact that it was made on a low budget. The actors were good, and I think that the story was interesting, but I think that it could have been a lot better. I think that the movie could have been better, but I think that it could have been better, but it could have been better.
I saw this movie for the first time in 1982, and it was a great movie. It's about the battle of the Wounded Knee, and the shooting of the Indian Chief, and the end of the war. The movie is about a family. The son, Billy, is about to be married to a beautiful Indian woman, Nellie, and they have a young son, Billy Jr. But, the family is divided, and Billy Jr. is a gangster. He has a lot of problems with the gang, and is constantly being sent to jail. One day, Nellie finds a picture of a girl, Dolly, and she thinks that she is Dolly's daughter. The only way to get the picture back is to get the permission of the Chief, the Chief is a crazy old man, who believes that Dolly is his daughter. The movie is a great movie. I really like it. I would recommend it to everyone, it's a great movie. I would give it an A.
This is a very good film. It is an early American Western. A "heartless" trader (Roy Scheider) is willing to "sacrifice" his life for the friendship of a Mexican (Angelina Jolie) who's husband is trying to flee for his life. The "heartless" trader decides to take on a bet with her husband, and kills him instead of betting himself, so he will have the money. She goes to the nearest town, and joins the gang, and in doing so becomes a strong supporter of the gang. The story is excellent. It is a very realistic film, and, to me, it is one of the best Westerns ever made. The acting is good, especially by Jolie. The gunfights are well done, and the music is very good. Overall, this is a good movie.
Some movies are just too depressing for a viewer to go through. "A History Of Violence" is one of them. Not depressing by itself, but depressing because of what it says. I didn't like the movie because I was bored to death. The most important thing is that it makes you think. No matter how much you can say that it's depressing, it's not. I was also surprised that the movie got good reviews. If you like watching movies that make you think, you'll like this movie. It has a great script. It's a great story. I really recommend this movie to anyone who likes watching movies that make you think.
I'm not a great fan of westerns, but I was pleasantly surprised to see this one. While it has the same character-driven, historical-fictional plot of many westerns, it's an engaging story, with some interesting twists. This movie has the feel of a real western, and it's an exciting one to watch. It's just not a great western, but it's a good one to watch. I'm not sure why some people have a problem with it. There are many good things in it, and the performances are all good. In a nutshell, this movie is a good one to watch.
As a young man James Stewart did not play good music. He just liked to sit around in his white tailored shirt and black slacks, and shoot guns. But, in his later years, he began to play well known artists and recorded their songs on his own, and became a famous folk singer. His song "You Belong To Me" was one of the best of the genre, and his first recorded recording was of a song by the English country music star Willie Dixon. The song became famous, and eventually won him a recording contract with Sony. "You Belong To Me" has become a classic song in the English country music tradition. The song has been performed in many countries, and is a favorite of the country music genre. There are many wonderful musicians who have worked with him, but the songs are classic. The story of "You Belong To Me" has been told many times, but the story of the real life singer, James Stewart, is one of the best. This is the story of a true American legend, and the story of a country singer who is part of the American folklore. This film is a good choice for the family, as it is a very well made film. It is very entertaining, and the songs are sung well. The story is told in a way that is enjoyable, and it is well made. This film does a good job of showing the life of a real person, and it is very interesting. It is not a film that you should pass up, as it is a very entertaining film. It is definitely worth seeing, as it is an interesting film.
In the movie, Robert Ford (Teddy Randall), a veteran privateer, is arrested in London for murder of a British Indian, who had been tortured to death in an Indian village. The British government wants to have him tried for the crime, but Ford, who is now a millionaire, will not give up the fortune to be tried in a British court. There is a huge problem in this story: how to prove his innocence? He refuses to cooperate with the authorities, but, when a woman comes to him and tells him she witnessed the murder, he confesses to the crime. However, he claims that it was an accident. Ford is now a free man, but the government wants to make him a scapegoat, to make him out to be an "enemy of the state", and to free himself from a big burden. It is a good movie, but it is not a very good movie. Some of the acting is very bad, some of the action is very poor, and some of the dialogs are very cliched. I give it an 8 out of 10.
This is a very good western based on the stories of E.D. Mcneil and his men. It has the biggest cast I have ever seen, with a high percentage of the leading actors, although David Carradine and Adrienne Barbeau are there for a short time. The story has an interesting background, and a good ending. It is worth watching.
It's been a long time since I've watched a movie that was a complete and utter waste of my time. I think I watched a bunch of them, but never really cared enough to make it to the end of the list. I'm not a film critic, but I'm pretty sure I could write a whole page on the failures of the films I've ever watched. I have to admit that this one was so terrible that I actually gave it an 8. I'm sure some people were impressed with the beauty of the Wyoming locations and the quality of the production, but it's so lacking in substance that you feel cheated that you spent money on it. I think there is a reason why there aren't more movies like this. Perhaps it's because we've seen it all before. If you can see that, I think you'll be able to appreciate the unique vision of Josh Hartnett. He should have been able to avoid the pitfalls of so many of his films, but instead he made a movie that was so bad, I didn't even know what to do with myself. I'm sure the people who went to see this movie are either expecting a good western, or someone they recognize. There's nothing wrong with that. It's a part of life, and the experience of seeing a movie like this is a gift. However, if you want to be entertained, or just have a good time, don't watch this movie. It's not going to be good for you, and if you are one of those people who's never seen a movie that was so bad, don't blame me.
This is the best film I've ever seen. It's beautifully shot and the acting is superb. It's also very moving and it's one of those films that you just can't help but to cry at. I think this film is the best film ever made. It's really sad to think that so many people have lost their lives and the movie shows that in a very realistic way. I was so moved by the film that I had to write this review to let other people know that this film is very very very good.
What I really loved about this film was the non-linear narrative. It had a really unique style that I can't really describe, but it was just really interesting to see. I really loved the way it felt like a time travel film, and the way it was all shot and edited. It was really cool to see how they put everything together. I really hope they keep the same style, because I really think it's very unique. The acting was great, but it was the story that really got to me. The story was really interesting and you really feel like you are watching something very real. I really liked the ending, it was really awesome. I hope they keep that style, because it really works. Overall, I really liked this film. It was great and it was really great. It was a really interesting film and I really liked it. I really loved the story and I really loved the style. I really recommend this film to anyone who loves a really unique story and non-linear storytelling.
This film had me hooked from the start. It had a great cast. The film starts off with an interesting plot, with a young man and his father. The father is in charge of the young boy. This is the first time that I've seen a film that was a western, with a young man as the lead. The film does not go into much detail about the boy, but the character is very likable. It's a good story. I would recommend this film to anyone who likes westerns, or even to anyone who wants to see a good film.
I don't know why this movie has such a low rating here. I guess it is because it's a western and all of that's good. I guess it's because it's supposed to be a straight western and that's why the rating is so low. I love this movie for the fact that it has a great story, great acting, and great scenery. I love that they never show the American soldiers on the screen. They show the guns, the horses, and the people. It really is a great movie and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good western.
This is an interesting and slightly underrated film. I think it was well done, but I didn't really understand what the hell was going on. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but I don't think it is. I think it is the fact that I don't really understand what is going on. I mean, the movie isn't really about anything. It's about the life of a family that goes from being poor to living the American dream. There's a lot of talk about being rich and having a great life, but what it really is is about family, and how those who have families and are successful are treated differently. I really liked the movie, and I think it's worth seeing, but it's not really a film that I would recommend.
I have seen the original "Lost Highway" and it is one of my all time favorites. So when I heard that "Lost Highway" was being remade I was very excited. I'm glad I did see the original because the remake is a far cry from the original. "Lost Highway" had a great atmosphere and great story, but it didn't have a great cast. The characters in the original were more likable, and the cast members of the remake are a lot more likable. I feel that this is one of the best remakes of all time, because it is different, but it's also very good. My favorite thing about this film is that it's shot in black and white. This gives the film a very dark feel. I also like the fact that it doesn't make the movie too dark, it just kind of goes a little over the top and seems a little too cool. "Lost Highway" is one of those movies that you'll probably remember for a very long time. It's one of those films that you'll be able to watch over and over and never get bored of. The film is very well made and it has a great story. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone.
It's nice to see that modern day westerns can be entertaining and well made. The setting, scenery and the way they have portrayed the characters is top notch. But the story has a few flaws. I didn't like the way they used the Indians to tell the story, it seemed to be done in a way that showed them as bad guys. It seems to me that it would have been better to show them as bad guys and show the bad guys as the Indians. Also, the Indian is a good guy but the whites are good guys. The film's biggest flaw is the casting of Christian Slater. He is great, but I think he is overrated. He doesn't fit the part and it is obvious that he is not an Indian. I think he would have been better suited to play the part of a Native American. He's the reason I didn't like the film. The other Indian is very good but he is far from being the only Indian in the movie. The other Indian is a great actor but he is not in the movie enough. The casting of the Native American would have been much better. Overall, a good western with a few flaws.
I saw this movie with my girlfriend and we both loved it. It was a great movie and we both agreed that it was better than all the other movies we have seen in the theater. The movie is about a young man named John Henry (Steve Buscemi) who is trying to make his way in the world. He is a drug addict and his life is pretty miserable. He is a pretty hopeless guy. One day he meets a girl named Julie (Annette Bening) who is pretty and pretty cute. She is the kind of girl that will make John Henry happy. He falls in love with her and the rest of the movie is about how John Henry tries to make his way in the world. The movie is very well made. It was very exciting and it kept me interested throughout the whole movie. I also really liked the part when John Henry and Julie get married and how they both become a family. The movie is very entertaining and I think that you should see this movie. It is a great movie. I give it a 10 out of 10.
I saw this film in the theater when it first came out. I was not expecting much from it and was blown away. I went back to see it again a few years later and was amazed at how much I had changed. It was then that I decided to go out and buy the film and watch it again. The film has a great message and is well worth watching. The acting is great, the script is great and the story is great. The only thing that I did not like was that it was a little slow at times. The last half hour is a little too slow. I did not understand the whole "I am not a good boy" thing. I would have loved to have seen more of the main character, but it was a great film and I would recommend it to anyone.
I saw this movie on the second day of its theatrical release, and it is not a movie that I have seen before. It is a fairly typical Western, with a number of stylistic and some funny elements. The story is about a western family who, on the night of the holiday, find themselves in the middle of a war between the Spanish and Mexican armies. The father, played by Al Pacino, is a man of a certain age, and is the only one who is willing to fight. He is killed in action, and his young son is left to raise him. In the midst of this conflict, the mother takes in a young man who is blind, and he is raised by the family. The mother is very strict, but the father does not even seem to mind. The son is very eager to join the army, and the mother is very strict about him, and is willing to let him be killed if he is caught. The brother and sister, played by Kevin Bacon and Anna Paquin, are also very strict about the family, but are able to help the brother in a way that they never thought possible. The story is somewhat predictable, and there is no real action in the movie. However, it is still very entertaining, and the way it is told is very interesting. The film is worth seeing for the actor and actress, Al Pacino and Anna Paquin, and the director.
An experienced and gifted film maker who still finds the ability to write, direct and act has created a true classic, a film that draws from his personal experiences as a Vietnam war veteran and war photographer. This film is the most personal portrait of a life that has shaped his entire professional life. There are scenes that are reminiscent of his Vietnam War experiences in Vietnam, but also moments that remind the viewer of his family and his adopted home in America. It's one of those films that is not to be missed and highly recommended.
I just watched this movie last night and I'm not sure what to make of it. There are two sides to this movie - the viewpoint of a professional detective (Lorraine Bracco) and the viewpoint of a rancher (Steve James) who knows little about the law and the law enforcement and the town. Both sides seem to have different philosophies and they are not always in agreement with each other. But the movie is also funny and very well acted. Steve James plays a very nice and believable character who gets what he wants out of life. He is very intelligent and not one to "go to war" with anyone. He's very angry at people he knows, who he feels are not doing the right thing, and he tries to help them when he can. Lorraine Bracco is an excellent actress who does a wonderful job portraying the deep, private part of her character. I think that she is probably one of the few actresses who could play a woman who is so beautiful that she cannot help herself but to show her beauty in every single moment. I think that Steve James is very likable, but he also seems to be the perfect man. He is not just someone who gets what he wants. He is someone who is very self-aware. And he doesn't do bad things to anyone. He wants what is right. I think that if the film had been longer, the movie would have been better. The ending of the movie is a bit confusing and it's not clear who the good guy is and who the bad guy is. The movie moves along at a good pace and I didn't think that it was too long. I liked the film and I think that it was a very good film.
I am a big fan of westerns and I saw this movie about a year ago and I was hooked. It was the most powerful, compelling and intense movie I have ever seen. I have watched it over a dozen times and I still can't get enough of it. The characters are so real that you can feel what they are feeling and the plot is so well written that you can follow it like a railroad track. I would love to see more westerns and this movie was a great inspiration for me. I will be watching it over and over again.
I read the book and found it to be a remarkable read, the book being a mixture of history and folklore. It was one of those books that if you read it, you know it is true. The movie took a totally different approach, it was more of a love story than a historical movie. There were no battles and battles were not even mentioned. The movie had more to do with the chemistry between the characters and the story was more centered around that. However, I must admit the film had some very intense moments that you could not take your eyes off of, and the dialogue was pretty good. The cast did an outstanding job, especially Joe Roth as Abraham, the actor who played him was fantastic. The only thing I would say that was bad in the movie was that the narration was pretty much nonexistent, I could not understand what was going on. Overall, a great movie that is definitely worth watching, I give it a 9/10.
It's the story of a young boy named Jack (Nicholas Cage) who is sent to live with his uncle and aunt in a little town called Sheridan. He's adopted by the community and eventually learns to be a good citizen and joins the army. It's a simple tale of survival, and the hardships of growing up. The film is extremely beautiful to look at. The landscapes are breathtaking, the acting is very good, and the script is superb. It is a true story and I don't know what more to say about it. It's a story that should be told. The film is well-acted, and has a wonderful soundtrack. The film is extremely entertaining, and is worth seeing.
This film, a great American western from the 1950s, is a film that is so good and so good it can only be appreciated on a second viewing. The film is not that long and you don't have to know anything about the western genre to enjoy it. The film is based on the novel "The Big Empty" by Douglas Plumer. The film tells the story of a young man named Danny who goes to the west to take part in the 1859 Trans-Missouri. The journey takes him to the red soil of the Missouri and the west, and through the western town of Teton. Danny is looking for his uncle, a man who left Teton and went west. Danny and his brother take the train to the town of Teton, but when they arrive, they discover that their uncle has left town and they are forced to stay in Teton until the railroad can bring him home. The journey of Danny and his brother is an emotional and a very interesting one. The film is a great western film that has a very interesting story, a great cast, and a very great film. I give this film a 7 out of 10.
I recently bought this movie on DVD, and I really enjoyed it. I've never seen the original, so I wasn't expecting too much. I was pleasantly surprised. I don't want to give too much away, but this movie is very different from the book. It's definitely not the same story. It's more of a drama. I can't say it's the same story, but it's definitely different. I don't know what to say about this movie. It's different, and it's good. I recommend this movie to anyone who has never read the book. I think you'll enjoy it.
It was hard to sit through this film. I didn't know what to expect, but I was very excited to see this film. I saw it in a theater with 2 other people. This was the first time I saw it in a theater, and I was really surprised. The acting was very good. The story was interesting. It was not really a story about the west. It was more about the problems with the west. It was about the American west. It was a great film. I would definitely recommend this film to anyone who likes westerns.
This movie is great. It's based on the book of the same name, which is a great book, but not so good as the movie. The movie is a mixture of war and romance. The movie is very well acted. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good movie to watch.
