Then I read the plot summary on IMDb and thought "Oh, this is gonna be great!" And it was. It's a good story, with a few flaws. The main flaw is that it tries to be too much. The movie takes itself seriously. It tries to be like the original cartoon. It's not. There are no references to the original. There are no jokes about the original. There are no references to the fact that the movie is a reboot. There is no sense of nostalgia. The movie is almost like it was made in the '80s. I could have done without the robot from the original. But I liked the robot from this one. It was great, and it fit the movie. The cast is great. It's a shame the movie doesn't have a good villain. There is no sense of menace. The villain is just a little too powerful for a kid. It could have been good. It could have been great. But it's not. There are plenty of good things about this movie. We have the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence, the enigmatic Chris Evans, the mysterious and mysterious David Tennant, the awesome and awesome Jeremy Renner, the brooding and brooding Michael B. Jordan, the menacing and menacing Samuel L. Jackson, the hot and hot Aubrey Plaza, and the hot and hot Nicholas Hoult. In addition to these characters, we have the talented director James Gunn who brought us the brilliant films The Cabin in the Woods and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The film also stars the incredible Hank Azaria, who also plays the villainous Kree, and a very surprising cameo by Ant Man himself, The Wasp. The movie is fast paced, entertaining, and has a great cast. It also has a great script, a great villain, and a great action scene. Overall, it's a great film. But the problem is that it's too short. I would have liked to see more characters, more action, and more excitement. It could have been great.
