There are some good qualities to the film. For example, the script is beautiful. The acting is generally good (the only thing that bothered me about this film was the casting). And the score is wonderful and brings a lot of emotion to the film. However, the movie was a little slow. I think there should have been more character development. The problem was, I felt I wanted to know more about the characters before I started to care for them. The movie is about the rivalry between two sisters, their relationships with their parents, and their future in a New England town. If the actors were able to get deeper into the characters' lives and make us care more for them, it would have been a better movie. They were not able to do that, and the result was a little boring. So, if you like independent movies and you are a fan of Meryl Streep, then this movie is for you.
The film is a film of sadness, and sadness is what we all feel in our hearts. It's a film that offers hope, and the future will not be what we expect. The only thing we know for sure is that it will not be good. The last two movies (I'm looking at you, Twilight and the Twilight Saga) have provided us with so much angst and turmoil, that we were left with very little to turn to. But this one, it feels like we should have. The sad thing is that, we all know that the story is going to be true, but we don't know what will happen. And if you're thinking, "how could it be possible?" think of the greatest amount of hope and comfort you could possibly give someone, a picture of hope and happiness, and let that image, put a smile on their face. This movie will bring you to that place. We'll all feel a little sad, but we'll all be hoping for the best. The characters are very well-drawn, as they are all very believable. There are more than a few points where you'll say, "wow, that character really seems like they really were that person." The love and respect shown towards the children is wonderful. They have a very tough life, and in that battle, their parents, the judge and the priest, show so much love. The movie is not what you'd expect. We won't expect a happy ending. We'll want to see what the future holds. The ending is not as depressing as I'd hoped. In fact, I was surprised at how much I liked the ending, and I think it's very well done. The end is not as over-the-top as it would be if it was a two hour movie. It was very touching and I really liked it. The movie is a little slow, but it's also not at all a slow movie. It's just right. I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants to be a little sad and touched. We've all been through some tough times in our life, and we all have to put ourselves in someone else's shoes. The movie is very emotional, and shows the struggles of the two children, Sophie and Hugo. The way that Sophie fights for her dreams, and the way that Hugo fights for him is very heartwarming. This movie is a must see.
I am not a fan of historical films, but this one had me riveted. It is well researched and tells a story of a couple who could have been twins (like the characters in this film), but they are not. The movie's ending is quite beautiful, and you will be thinking about it for days after you see it. Good acting all around, especially in the supporting roles. I have seen the original (the 1989 film) and was disappointed with the original's conclusion. The 2001 version's ending is much more compelling, and I recommend that anyone who wants to see a good historical film see this one.
I had to see this movie because I am a huge fan of Catherine Deneuve. However, after watching it, I was very disappointed. First, the plot is very thin. It seems to go by quickly, as if it were a series of pages. The story is full of holes. The character's are so shallow that you don't even know what to make of them. The characters are no more real than the actors who play them. The characters are so ridiculous and unbelievable that I can't understand how someone could put them in a movie. This is not the worst thing in the world, but it is very much the part of the movie that disappoints me. The acting is wonderful, but it's very poor. Sophie's acting is good, but is so "naked" that I don't see how it could be called acting. I'm afraid that it's the acting that made her the great actress that she is. The ending is so unrealistic, and the whole movie is so full of errors. The main plot is about a man trying to kill a woman, and the woman has been pregnant for some time. But the main plot is a bit too improbable, and I couldn't care less about the ending. The main plot is really too thin. It has no more character development than a child's. The main plot doesn't get anything at all, and I didn't even care about the characters. I can't really understand why this movie is such a huge hit. I am surprised that it was so successful. I think it's because I'm a big fan of Catherine Deneuve, but she is so convincing as the main character that it's difficult to feel anything other than admiration. The writing is quite bad, and I think the actors and actresses did a terrible job. I don't understand why they were so good. Sophie is so bad that she makes the story even more unbelievable. Even the setting is very poor, and it's unbelievable how they could have captured this place. It's not at all realistic. The best part of the movie is the set. This is my favorite part. It is absolutely breathtaking. They capture the beauty of France very well, and it's very beautiful. But it's very unrealistic to have a beautiful tree. It's just too unbelievable that the trees would look so beautiful and that they would give you such beauty. They also capture the language very well, and it's very well done. But it's just not enough to make the movie good. The movie is overlong, and it has very few points. The ending is very good, but it's so unrealistic. I can't believe that this
Some of the comments I've read here are the same that I read in The New Yorker, so I'll add a few words of my own. The movie focuses on an English woman who works in a newspaper, and is approached by a man (played by Alan Rickman, who I think is one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood today) who asks her to make a story about him. I've heard that most of the film is based on an actual incident that happened in 1994, and that the director, Amy Heckerling, is a survivor of the attack. The woman tells her story, but it's not one you'll likely hear told at a screening of the film, which is a big plus. In fact, in one scene, she talks about what happened in real time, but that's another reason to see this film. The film is also about the transition from modern life to more primitive ways of thinking, so some of the sequences are disturbing and you'll probably want to turn the sound down. But it's well worth it. It's a very personal story, and I hope that more people will see it.
One of the best films of this season. The story is about two sisters, one German and one Russian, and their journey to reach their dream of a world with no borders. They are a somewhat broken family. They are not perfect but you can understand why they are in a rut. There are many things that you can say about the film and the story but the one thing that impressed me the most was that the director managed to make a really beautiful movie with the beautiful backdrop of a German village, a snowy mountain, the brilliant colors of the aurora borealis, and the stirring music by the composer Arvo Part. What I really liked about the movie is that it managed to cover all the dimensions of humanity in a single movie. You will understand the suffering of the mother, the hope for the girl, the sadness of the father, the joy of the girl, the joy of the boy, and the darkness of the man. You will see this from the perspective of the father, the mother, the mother's friend, the father's wife, the mother's friend and the mother herself. All of them, and more, are reflected in the movie. You will see the beauty of the village, the beauty of the sky, the beauty of the aurora borealis, the beauty of the mountains and the beauty of the story. It was a beautiful movie, and I think that this will be one of the best films of this season. I give it an 8 out of 10.
I have read a lot of negative reviews and other reviewers have said this movie is horrible, I have to disagree with them. It is a good movie and you should see it. This movie is a true story, I just read a review that said that it was unrealistic, I think they are right, it's a movie that is based on a true story. The movie is a great story, it is a true story and the story is about a little girl named Sophie. Sophie is a little girl who has an extraordinary ability, and this ability is named Sophie. Sophie is really good at anything she does, and she really helps other people in the film. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes a story about a girl who has a really amazing talent and how her talent has brought the people she's been helping in the film a lot of joy, and I think that this is a good movie to watch, you should go see it. I rate it a 9/10.
While not quite as dark as the movie "Crash", "Dancing Queen" is a powerful film about bullying, and the lengths that children will go to to try to get a friend to like them. The main character, Sophie, is a shy girl who is shy, and feels very vulnerable around people. Her mom is very unsupportive, and also jealous of her. When Sophie's mother goes to the party, her daughter and her friends become the targets of bullies. Sophie is convinced that they are all the same, and that she has to do everything to be liked. This film is a perfect example of what bullying can do to a child. It may be very hard for parents to accept, but the effects of bullying can be devastating, and even lead to suicide. Although Sophie has a number of friends who are bullies, they do not mean to hurt her, they only want to make her happy. The main message of the film is that bullies do not have to be punished. This is one of the films that I have seen that truly was heart breaking and could have really helped to change a lot of people's minds about bullying.
The last few years have seen some very good performances in film, the late great Willem Dafoe in The Usual Suspects, the recent All About Steve, the overrated Billy Bob Thornton in The Hurricane, and now this amazing story of a 19 year old French girl who decides to become a photographer in order to escape her abusive mother. This movie had great direction and performances. Sophie is the real star of this film and plays her role so well that she is completely believable in the role. This film is very strong on emotion, the father/mother relationship is very well played and the relationship between the boy and Sophie is very strong and poignant. The only weak point of the film is the ending. The ending feels rushed and doesn't leave any real real emotional impact. Overall, I give Sophie a 9 out of 10.
I just wanted to comment that the movie was brilliant. The music was amazing. I was a little worried at first because the movie was directed by the same guy who directed the musical. But it turned out that they are both great directors. I'm not going to tell you what the movie is about, because I think you have to see it for yourself. I think that you have to really watch the movie. There is no narration. It's all about the songs and the music. I was really impressed with the visual effect and the cinematography. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any kissing in the movie. But I think that you should really watch the movie for yourself. Don't take the synopsis from the movie and try to figure out the movie. Go into it with your own preconceptions. Go into it with an open mind. It's not easy. You have to have faith in the director and the actors. I think that you will like it.
This was a great film that follows the events of her life. Not only did it follow her, but it was a wonderful look at the culture she encountered throughout her short life. She had a father who was kind, a mother who was kind, and a brother who was kind. This film was incredibly interesting and told the story of a young girl who struggled with her love for her mother, and how she changed her ways in her short life. I highly recommend this film to anyone who is interested in the lives of young women in India.
It is sad to see a young actor like Joely Richardson die after his turn in this movie. She was a very talented actress and the casting director did a great job casting her. I do not see why she would go to die like she did, but, hey, it's Hollywood and sometimes, that happens. I think that there is a lot of wrong with the movie. For example, the opening credits. The first half of the movie is very disturbing. It shows a girl taking a shower and showing her breasts. In the middle of the movie, she gets into the elevator and shows her breasts again. After this scene, she takes a shower and shows her breasts again. I'm not sure if she was showing her breasts as a joke or not. The camera just kept rolling and she was naked in the shower, which made me uncomfortable. I also did not like the way they used the camera in the shower. It was so awkward and too long. There were also a lot of over-acting. I think they should have used the camera a little more and less overacting. I also thought that they did not show the whole story of Sophie's mother. I think they should have shown more of her. Another thing that annoyed me was the scene at the end of the movie. I thought that it was too slow. They were probably trying to show that the young people were just trying to make it in Hollywood and they would be very successful. I think that it would have been more effective if they showed the whole story and not just the last scene. Overall, I think that this movie was very good and that Joely Richardson should have won an award for her role as Sophie. If you see this movie, I think that you will enjoy it. I give this movie a 9 out of 10.
I watched this film about 3 months ago and have enjoyed it to the extent that I could make out the story of the film within the first 20 minutes. The acting is good and the direction is very impressive, making the film feel less artificial. The story and direction are very natural and I like the way it is told. I have read a few reviews on IMDb where some people have complained that the direction is too slow and it drags on and on, and that the story is too weak and the ending is weak. I disagree with the latter, I believe that the direction is more like a slow motion documentary, and the story is very strong. It is definitely worth watching for it's strong story. However, I would like to say that the film could have been much more powerful if the story had been more developed. There is a little too much 'Wow' in the film, and it is more realistic to me that the story could have been better. I believe that this could have made the story more believable, and more realistic characters would have been introduced, but I think that the director and writer were just trying to tell a very strong story. I am only going to say that if you are a fan of Steve McQueen, you will enjoy this film. I think that the film is a little too different, but it is definitely worth a watch.
A movie that I will probably never see again, but for some reason it reminded me of the movie "Cloverfield". I've always been a great fan of both movies. This movie was about a group of people who are stuck in a country town and have to go on a road trip to get to a small town where their friend is. The story is great and everyone was great in it. I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see a good movie about the making of a movie. I'm looking forward to seeing "American Psycho" and "The Big Lebowski".
I haven't seen many movies, so when I first heard of this one, I didn't even know it was a movie. Then I saw the poster, I thought it was a crazy action movie, and I didn't even know it was a movie. I mean, how could it be that it was a comedy, but it was an action movie? It had a great cast, and the story was great, it was pretty unique and original. The whole thing was great, and I liked it, but it wasn't as good as I was expecting. In the first five minutes, I thought, "Oh, this is going to be so cool", and then it just got worse. When I saw the ending, I just didn't know if I was going to cry, laugh, or just pass out, and I couldn't stand to watch the movie any longer, so I watched it again. It was funny, it was sad, it was strange, and it was so weird. It was so good, and the reason why it was so good is because of the amazing acting. I think it was brilliant. It was so good, and I recommend it to anyone, just to see the acting, because it's just amazing.
I felt a bit 'sick' the first time I watched this.I think I needed a lot of sleep that night. I was now getting a bit concerned, especially after the utter crap that was 'Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace'. But this movie is good. It is funny, but is not always gory. The acting is superb, with some genuinely great actors in the cast, including John Hurt, Mads Mikkelsen, and Christopher Lee. But I have to say that one of my favourite actors, in this film, is the incomparable David Bowie. He gives a touching performance as the poor father of a schoolboy. It is a pity that Bowie died before his time, but I hope he made a lot of money out of this film. He is one of my favourite actors and I wish he was still alive. My rating: 8/10
For me, the movie was a very beautiful reflection of the events of Vietnam. The movie was very poetic in its presentation of the sadness and the triumph of those brave young people who faced the Vietnam War with courage and spirit. I think the movie is very educational and the viewer is exposed to many of the different aspects of the Vietnam War. The movie was very inspirational to me, and it makes you think about the Vietnam War and how important the events are in our world today. I think this movie is a very good lesson for all Americans who have ever been involved in the Vietnam War.
I am not a 'Sophie' fan, but I really enjoyed the movie. I am not a fan of the French movie genre. I love both movie types, but this is definitely one of the best French movies I have ever seen. It has a fantastic story, a fantastic cast, and great direction. The music is beautiful, and the direction is really good. I was very surprised by the acting, as I thought that the English actress was really good. I don't think this is an Oscar-caliber film, but I was pleasantly surprised with the story and the acting. I also thought the ending was a little predictable, but overall it was still a great movie. I don't understand why the critics aren't loving this movie, but it was worth my money. My Rating: 9/10
This is a compelling drama about two female African American friends who get together to play a board game which is slowly awakening them from their long slumber. In the process, they encounter many things that seem a bit beyond their abilities. I was not expecting much from this film. I thought that it was a coming-of-age story, but it turned out to be much more than that. The film focuses on two young girls who are both very talented. One of them, Sophie, is very gifted. She does not show it through her actions, but through her words and her presentation. She shows it through her words, which are often very revealing. The other, Tanisha, is not as talented. Her words and actions tend to be rather less revealing. But, they are both very talented and quite devoted to their friends. They each bring something different to the table. Their friendship is a bonding that they have both had throughout their lives. As the movie progresses, we see them work through a few issues. Their friendship is very strong, and it is built on trust and love. We see both girls struggle with their past and how it is affecting them. The movie explores the themes of racism, poverty, and social acceptance. In the process, we see the nature of friendship, and we also see how difficult it is to be a good friend to someone who has not been successful in life. I highly recommend this film. It is a rare treat.
Perhaps the most unique film I've seen in a long time, by the director of the award-winning "Bicentennial Man" and "A Short History of Seven Killings" (and, yes, "Bram Stoker's Dracula"). It's a stark and uncompromising film, which won't appeal to everyone. The quality of the acting is spot-on, and the story's delivery is.well.very.dark. So, if you want a movie that will stick with you for a long time, this is it. 8/10
I was skeptical about this movie after seeing the trailer for it. I had read a lot of bad reviews on here. I figured it couldn't be as good as the book. But it is great. I love how they added the Northern Lights. I like how they used the War of the Roses as a backdrop. This movie is about the English civil war, and what happens in it. There are lots of things that can be interpreted differently, but that's the way I saw it. It's a good story with a lot of historical inaccuracies, but that's what made it good. I think everyone should see this movie.
Sophie (Marisa Tomei) is a woman, who has no father and mother to be looked up to. But when her father dies, she is left to raise herself and her young brother. After a hard night at work, Sophie begins a relationship with Tom (Sam Rockwell) a local lass. Tom is a drug dealer, but has to keep his job because he is being blackmailed by his friends. When Sophie notices Tom at her boyfriend's party, she decides to start a relationship with him. When Sophie meets Tom at a local fast food place, she has the urge to see if she is that hot. But Sophie is still only 18 and Tom is in his early twenties. When Sophie gets the chance to see Tom again, she finds out that Tom is a drug dealer. When Tom's brother is found dead, Sophie must decide to get out of Tom's life. "Sophie" is a film that has a lot of hope and promise. It shows that life is very short, and people will not always be nice to each other. The story is about a young woman who has no father and mother to look up to, and yet she still tries to change her life. Marisa Tomei, the actress, did a wonderful job in this film. She was incredible in her role as the female lead. Sam Rockwell, as the drug dealer, was excellent. I also like the relationship between Sophie and Tom, because it shows the human side of drugs. This is an inspiring film that anyone can watch.
After watching this film I was in the cinema queue for at least an hour. I was waiting for it to start. I was in a silent trance for the first hour. I could not get out of my trance. There was no dialogue, but I could hear the actors just as they were speaking. The performances were fantastic. Matt Damon was in his Oscar worthy form and was almost as good as he was in Collateral. Emma Thompson is simply stunning. The plot is quite simple. The film really doesn't get much deeper than that. I would have loved to have seen more character development. As it was, the whole plot of the film was only a bit more than a thread on a thread. I can only recommend this film to anyone who enjoys films with a great message of love and hope. The film is perfect for a rainy day with the family. See it with your whole family. This is the best movie I have seen this year. It is a must see for all.
The movie starts with an interesting idea and then the story is completely ruined. The characters are bad, the script is bad and the camera work is horrible. There is no reason why you should watch this movie, but if you want to waste time on a boring story and a crappy script than watch it. The acting is good. The only part that I liked was the baby. It was a good contrast between the mother and the father.
I have seen this movie about a hundred times, but it is the best movie I have ever seen. This is the first movie I have ever read to my 12 year old daughter, and she loves it too! This is the one movie that will stay with you long after the credits roll. The acting is superb, and the plot is wonderfully constructed. Even the dialogue was brilliant, it would be a shame if it were not. I love the way the movie was filmed. It was shot in a way that made you feel like you were actually in the middle of the country, and the mood of the movie felt true to life. The most interesting thing about the movie is how the writer created such an intriguing and realistic story. It is one of those movies that you just can't help but fall in love with. It's like the story itself was the movie, and the director added everything to make the story that much better.
I've read some reviews of this film and thought it was a good movie, that it was good for kids, but I really didn't think it was great for adults. For starters, I thought it was a little short for a film of this length. The movie is slightly over two hours long. There's also some elements that seem a little out of place, like the main character's one liner. I also thought it was a little out of place with the director's other works. But, overall, I really enjoyed this movie and thought it was well-made. The cinematography and editing are also quite impressive. I didn't really get a chance to compare this movie to others in the same genre, but this movie certainly ranks up there as one of the best of the year.
If you are looking for a movie about a female who returns to her home after moving away and going through a process of recovery, "The Return" is for you. I don't know if the movie has been set in the past, but it's probably as far as we can tell. All the problems that Annie has in her life are detailed here: loneliness, fear, abandonment, a father that is not there for her, drugs, alcohol, sexual abuse, and the strength to pull through and find her strength. I thought the script was very good. It gives you the sense that Annie has had a tough life and is trying to move on, which is very important. The movie is also a coming of age story about a young woman who moves away from her abusive father and tries to get back on her feet. It is told in a way that is believable, but it is also realistic. This is one of those movies that you can watch over and over again. It's not a typical coming of age movie, but it is an uplifting one that will make you happy.
With an outstanding cast and a beautiful cinematography, this is one of the best and most fascinating film I have ever seen. I think it is the first feature-length film with a lesbian relationship in it. One of the most fascinating thing about this film is that it has been shown in South Africa, and I am sure there is a lot of confusion about this film. Why is it that only South Africans can appreciate this film? The film is a South African movie with a Jewish American director. One of the reasons why I think this film deserves so much attention is because the characters are interesting and well-defined. I think it is so important to make a film like this, because that is what gives the real meaning of this film. The director was very clever in choosing the language to tell the story. The music is amazing and fits the film perfectly. The cinematography is beautiful, and it is very rare for a film to give me goosebumps. It's a really well-made film, and it's a shame that the film was banned in South Africa. This is the first film in which I really feel that I can appreciate a South African film with a lesbian relationship in it. The film is very educational, and the themes are extremely important. If you enjoy a good story and interesting characters, you should see this film.
The movie Sophie is the most erotic movie I have ever seen. It takes a good length to start and some scenes are boring, but once the scene takes a turn to a sexual way the movie is born. It starts with a great scene where the actress is showing the movie to her boyfriend and the guy who is into girls, and he is actually feeling something and starts to feel his own erection. I love the scene where she is with the guy and she is rubbing herself on his thigh and rubbing his feet. It's just so good. The movie is not so much erotic as it is a picture of a relationship. We see that Sophie can only feel safe with the guy and that the guy can feel nothing for her. Sophie is the same with her boyfriend and the man who wants a girl, and Sophie is getting a baby. The last scene that I want to talk about is the end where Sophie has to take care of a baby. It's a great scene, because it shows Sophie's skill in baby taking care of the baby and also shows the director the qualities Sophie has, the important things that makes Sophie the character she is. She is smart and is just like a good girlfriend, but she is also strong and is ready to do anything to protect her baby and the other boy that she loves. The movie is not so much erotic, but it's really good and it will make you enjoy the movie more. I give this movie a 8 out of 10. It's a really good movie and I hope you will watch it.
I've been a fan of The Two Towers since I was a kid, so when I heard of the Three-books trilogy, I was very excited to see it. Unfortunately, I was so excited that I saw it in the cinema, and ended up leaving without having seen it at all. Now, after seeing it, I have to admit that it was a great movie, and I am now one of those people who are gonna read the books! I haven't read the books yet, but I would definitely give the movie a try. The special effects in this movie were really amazing, the acting was also really good. Everyone in the movie was great, and I really can't wait to see the third book. I recommend this movie to everyone. The film was not perfect, but I think that the story was really good and the acting was also really good. The ending was also really good, and the movie was great. I think this movie was also really good. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone. The film is really good, and I recommend this movie to everyone.
This movie gives us a great view into the world of those who experienced the decline of the Roman Empire. Although it has a strong story, it's also so powerful. It's not a movie you can just watch once, you'll have to watch it a few times and be able to absorb the information. Even though it's a movie about the decline of the Roman Empire, it's also about all the other civilizations in the past and all the cultures from which we have benefited as well. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves history, philosophy, and is interested in learning more about the world we live in.
I loved this film. It is a very realistic portrayal of the loneliness of an orphaned child and how it affects everyone around him. The performances were excellent by all of the cast. I felt the story was very moving, but there was no real villain in the film. The film was really about a family's love for their child. I believe that's why the film is so moving. However, the villain in this film is quite different from the villain in the first film. He is not really evil, but he is still very scary. In my opinion, it was interesting to see the villain in this film be so different than the villain in the first film. I think that is why the film was so good. Overall, I think this is a very good film that was very touching. The performances in the film were excellent. The storyline was very moving, but I didn't think it was very scary at all. I think that was because I was expecting a lot of the film to be a lot scary. I think the most frightening aspect of this film was that it was very believable. I felt that the emotions in the film were very believable. I am glad I saw this film because it is very good and I recommend it to everyone. Overall, this is a very good film and I would recommend it to anyone.
This film is very well done. It is not a good or even an excellent film, but it is definitely an enjoyable movie. I would love to watch it again, but it has been a while since I have seen it. I do not see it as a drama, I see it as a great drama about love. In the last scene, the two girls are in a hospital room talking. The next scene, we see the doctor standing in the room, and we hear the doctor say, "I'm sorry, but I can't do that." and he starts the machine. The girl says, "Don't worry, we'll be on our way." The doctor replies, "You'll be on your way."
This is a movie about a young girl who, after being abandoned by her parents, decides to become a Christian. She goes on a Bible tour and discovers a strange "Sister" who has told her stories about Jesus. The story is told in a humorous way, the acting is brilliant and so is the soundtrack. One of the best films of 2008. It's a shame it hasn't been released in the U.S. but I can't wait.
My husband and I were very much drawn to this film. It is beautifully photographed, with natural lighting, and the story is based in part on an actual incident. I had heard of the story before seeing the film, but had never heard of the actual incident. I was very much impressed with the photography and the wonderful cast. The story was not the strongest part of the film. I did not see any obvious anti-Catholic bias. But, I did not think the film was anti-Catholic. I was actually very surprised to see that it was not. It was anti-small government, pro-independence, pro-Western, pro-Christian, and anti-naval. I do not think it was anti-Catholic, although it did not focus on Catholicism. I did not see any anti-Catholic bias in the stories of the Catholic characters. I do not think the film was anti-Catholic, although it was anti-Catholic. I was impressed with the acting, the story, the photography, and the musical score. I do not know where the information that this is based on an actual incident, but it was very much in keeping with the theme of the film. I think the viewer should be able to draw his or her own conclusions.
The film, directed by Peter Weir, is about a teenage girl who is shot to death by a vigilante gang in a Glasgow suburb. In a civilised society, such a tragedy would be treated with extreme harshness by the media, the police and the judicial system. The principal character is Sophie, an intelligent, kind, bright girl who has lived with her abusive father since the age of five. Sophie's father is a depressed alcoholic who makes crude and disgusting comments about Sophie and has recently been treated for alcohol dependence. The situation of the family is so dire that Sophie has taken the children and sister, along with a friend and a gay couple, in a caravan to Scotland, where they live in an old farmhouse. Sophie's mother tries to stay strong, but the harsh environment has left Sophie in a state of depression. She uses drugs and attempts suicide, but she is eventually released from hospital. The situation then becomes increasingly worse, but Sophie refuses to give up hope, and her girlfriend, Max, who is a struggling musician, offers to take her to Scotland. However, they will be unable to return to the UK without permission from their fathers. This is a complex and challenging film. In my view, it is highly recommended to those who are interested in film as an art form. The film presents a real and serious situation, but it is also provocative and colourful, with beautiful photography and excellent performances by the three main actors. My rating for this film is 8/10.
This movie is not for everyone. It is a very tough movie to watch, and is not for the faint of heart. It is very disturbing. That being said, I think that this movie deserves its 7.8 rating. It has very strong acting performances by Tom Cruise and Paul Giamatti. The story is very well done, but if you do not know the story, it is very hard to follow. The movie is a little slow at times, and is very slow. It is a little boring at times, and I was hoping for a different ending. It is well done. I think that this is a great movie. I would give it 8 stars.
I went into this movie with an open mind, but not knowing what to expect. I came out of it understanding that Sophie's character was completely done by circumstance, and the screenwriters did an amazing job of showing us exactly why. The directing was also great, I don't think it was necessary to have the director jump in and ask the actors what they wanted to say, it was as natural as it could be. The acting was also top notch, with everyone playing their roles very well. I've never really read the books, so I can't say I was excited about the movie, but I did feel the emotional impact this movie had on me. I highly recommend this movie.
Takashi Miike's "Sophie and the Rising Sun" is an unconventional film that explores the marriage and sexuality of two middle-aged women in Japan. It's not a film that has anything to do with marriage, or sex, but rather a film that takes place in a traditional Japanese household. There's an emphasis on the importance of family, as it is said in the film, and how the family is the one that supports each other, that doesn't need to be present. The film is told in a series of flashbacks, and we learn about the character's childhood and how they became involved in the marriage. It is during this part of the film that the film moves at its pace, and the pacing is very good, even if it is not a very linear film. The film does get pretty slow towards the end, but it is still an enjoyable watch. The film deals with the traditional issues of how men and women are in relation to one another, and how the traditional family can be changed for the better. "Sophie" is a very unique film, that I can't say that it's better than the usual films that Miike has made, but it's a very good film and is worth watching.
The movie is an amazing movie to watch. It is a story of loneliness and love. If you want to find out more about it just read the description. The movie is a beautiful romance and story.
It was a surprise to see this film at Cannes Film Festival. Despite the strong lead actor and excellent story, the film never truly brought the power of the film to me. I didn't get into the characters and the story in the first place, and I never really felt it's strength. I'm not sure why the story didn't get better on the second viewing, it's a great film. But I just didn't get into it. The first time around I was less inclined to get into the story, but I did get interested. I think the film did its best with the characters. It's not perfect, but it's good. I would have enjoyed this film a lot more on a second viewing.
