I am surprised that the film didn't get more publicity than it did. The documentary style is interesting, and the focus on the American "alternative" lifestyle and its influence on the Chinese, is fascinating. The movie is a bit slow at times, but the overall message is worth it. I would recommend this to anyone who has a love for the Chinese culture or is interested in its culture. The film is not as informative as some other documentaries, but it is a very good documentary and worth watching.
This documentary was very good. It was the first documentary I saw about Chinese immigrants, and it was extremely informative. They talk about the hardships they faced and the hardships they had to overcome. The film shows them talking about their first job, and how they used to go to work every day, and the things they had to do to earn money, and the money they had to spend on food. There is also a lot of stories about the hardships they faced and how they had to overcome them. You also get to see their families, and what their lives were like. This film is very informative, and I highly recommend it. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to learn more about the Chinese immigrants, or if you're interested in China. This film is great for the people who are looking for information about Chinese immigrants. If you like documentaries, then you should definitely watch this one.
This documentary does a good job of showing a little bit of everything. It's not about the actual story of the trip, but rather the circumstances surrounding it. The events themselves are a bit disjointed, but still show a lot of detail. The documentary also gives a good overview of the history of Tibet. It is well organized, and the documentary is very well edited. A good documentary, worth seeing.
This is the second time I have watched the film of A Chinese Girl in the White World. I didn't enjoy the first one and was disappointed with the second. This one is just as good as the first one. It was just too slow. The film doesn't really take the time to explain everything, and the subjects are never really explored. It's just all of the new women entering this place. The film shows the problems that the men had to deal with. I thought that they should have used a little more of the film to show the problems the men had to deal with. This film is a good start to a series, but it is just too slow. If you are a fan of the first film, don't bother with this one. You may like the second one more than the first one. I give this film a 7 out of 10.
The film takes a look at the life of a group of Japanese American family members in the 1950's and how they interacted with the larger society. I think it's an interesting look at the problems facing these families at the time. It focuses on the years when the Japanese American families were denied full citizenship in the United States, and how they tried to get citizenship and make some of the changes that were required to become full citizens. The movie also highlights the successes and failures that the families had to overcome. There are some great scenes, such as when the Japanese American family goes to a funeral, and how they try to make some of the changes that are required to become full citizens, including the requirement of voting and being a member of the Japanese American National Volunteer Auxiliary. The ending also provides a good point of view of the Japanese American community as a whole. Overall, the film is a well-told story that shows how the Japanese American community had to deal with the discrimination that they experienced in the 1950's. The film also points out some of the positive aspects of this community, such as the wonderful work that the Japanese American community did to help build America during the Cold War, and how the Japanese American community fought for their citizenship rights. This is a film that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of their racial or ethnic background.
I enjoyed this movie very much. I have seen it twice, first on the big screen, and then later on DVD. The DVD was excellent, as well. The picture quality was great, the sound quality was great, and I was not once disturbed by any distracting sound. The movies is a bit overlong, but that is not to say it's boring. The movie is very compelling. It is a story of a group of very wealthy Chinese immigrants who immigrated to the US in the early 1960's. The movie is about their attempts to stay true to the way of life they had always known, and to assimilate into American culture. It is a story of the cultural clash of two cultures, and the struggle to maintain a sense of belonging, and to keep the things that define your culture, the things that make you, you. This is not to say that the movie is about anti-Chinese racism, or anti-Asian stereotypes, or the stereotypical view of immigrants. The movie is about the struggle to keep an American culture, and the history of a people who came to America, and how they have changed the way Americans think and behave. I highly recommend this movie, and I hope that others will as well.
I was a child when I first saw this movie, and I was mesmerized. The scenes in the house are haunting and the scenes in the hospital are powerful. The movie has it all: suspense, a story of heartbreak, and a message that isn't preachy. It is about the lonely life of a lonely girl, and the difficulty in living in a world that doesn't see us. What makes this movie so wonderful is that the narrator never says a word, and the scenes are only glimpses. Sometimes the movie is quiet, and other times it is loud. It's a story about a girl and her family, and her struggle to fit in, and her power to move mountains.
A documentary about the growth of the Asian Music Scene in NYC. The film is mostly a discussion about the scene and its history. The director focuses mostly on the great bands who have been formed and the music they play. The film is a little slow and a little bit boring at times, but it is definitely worth a watch. It is a bit different than what you would expect from a documentary, and you should definitely give it a try.
This documentary is by far the most valuable part of this film. This is not to say that the rest of the film isn't good, but that it's just so boring. It's as if the director could not get his audience to care about anything else. The best thing that can be said about this documentary is that it was well shot. But the documentary is all about one man, and he's the one that we're meant to care about. But the documentary is so long that the viewer is forced to sit through the whole thing. And that's why this documentary is so disappointing.
I was surprised to see this documentary about the Chinese film industry. Although I'm not a huge fan of Chinese cinema, I have a general appreciation for Asian cinema. This documentary is well done. It focuses on the small movie-making industry in China and how this industry is really different from Hollywood and the rest of the Hollywood film industry. I love documentaries and especially this one. It is very interesting. It covers a lot of interesting topics. The film critic at one point says that "every minute of this film is worth an hour and a half of your life". He is right! I would definitely recommend this documentary. It is well done and well worth your time.
One of the best documentaries on the subject of ethnic violence. It's a rare treat to see a documentary that doesn't provide a misleading explanation of the underlying issues, but rather shows what happened and how it affected the people involved. The interviews are very insightful and realistic, especially the ones with the survivors. I also appreciate the director's sensitivity when it comes to depicting violence against women and children, and the director seems to be completely sincere in his treatment of the subject matter. But, of course, that doesn't mean that the subject matter is not real. The documentary's tone is a bit more pessimistic than the documentary's subject, but it's still pretty balanced and informative. The documentary is a lot more confrontational than I expected, but it's still very informative and makes a good argument to its viewers. Overall, a very good documentary that deserves more recognition. Highly recommended.
One of the most refreshing things about this movie is how it does not try to explain anything. The movie doesn't tell us how the Chinese worked in the 90's, or how they died in the Great War, but instead it just shows the families of the dead people and tells us about their personal story. The story is not about how the Chinese fought in WW2, but the story of one family and how they survived the terrible war and survived the Great Depression. It's a sad story and the movie tells it well, showing the incredible pain that this family had to go through and how they were still trying to find a way to survive. The director is wonderful. This movie is about survival and how the Chinese families were able to overcome and survive through the Great Depression. It's not a documentary, it's not a drama, but a very good film about a family who survived and has survived.
A poignant film from China that shows how important education is and how education can save lives. The director and producer were very good at showing the hardships and difficulties that many students face every day in school. This is a wonderful film to see if you care about human rights and education. The film is based on a true story and shows how much education can change lives and help improve a person's life. All in all this is a very moving film. I can't wait to see it again. It will make you think about the importance of education.
If you like the Japanese culture you will be very impressed with this documentary. It is a very good documentary that will definitely catch the attention of the international audience. It is very interesting to watch how the Japanese people live. There are people who live in their own culture but who never come into contact with the Japanese. The film gives a good impression about Japan and it is very easy to understand the Japanese people and their culture. It is very difficult to understand the culture of the other countries, but the Japanese culture is very well explained and it is very interesting to watch the differences between the different cultures. The documentary is very good and I think it will be really good for international audience. The documentary is about the relationship between Japan and China and the way the Japanese people live. This documentary is very interesting and it is very important to watch it.
How to Speak Japanese: The Way of the Samurai is an excellent documentary that tells the story of one man's attempt to learn how to speak Japanese in Japan, the land of myths and legends. What's so amazing about this film is that it's so incredibly easy to watch, because the documentary is so short. It's about the entire process of learning to speak Japanese, from the title, through to the actual speaking. There's no need to watch it a second time, because you get the gist of it. The documentary is not about the Japanese people, it's about the Japanese culture and it's amazing how many of the lessons are translated into Japanese. There are many of the lessons that are just completely impossible to understand in Japanese, and some of the other lessons are very funny, because you know how they think the world works. It's a really good documentary, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about the Japanese culture.
I liked this documentary very much. This is a great way to bring home the importance of the fact that life can and does change drastically if we act in the right way. It's really great to see what it takes to get things done in the real world. It's so amazing to see people that have achieved so much and still had the attitude that "it doesn't matter" or "the hard work will pay off" and that's why they're successful. I'm sure there's some people who have the same attitude, but don't want to take responsibility for their success. I was really surprised to see that this documentary did not contain the usual Hollywood or Hollywood-inspired approach to show the inside stories of successful people and how they became that way. This documentary is about what it takes to change things, not just what it looks like on the outside. It's a very effective documentary. I recommend it to everyone who wants to see what it takes to succeed in life. I give it a 7 out of 10.
I saw this documentary at the Chicago International Film Festival. I found it to be an interesting look at the plight of children who were brought up in a Chinese orphanage. It was a fascinating look into how these children were raised and the events that led to their placement. The documentary was very well done and well researched. The documentary was presented in an interesting way that I would recommend to anyone. I thought the documentary was very informative and well done. I found the documentary to be informative and well done.
I saw this movie at the AFI Film Festival in Los Angeles last year. I was intrigued by the fact that the movie was made by a group of Chinese Americans who came from a small town in China, to attend a film festival in Los Angeles. The movie is a documentary, not a Hollywood movie. It was made on location in Beijing, and in the country. It is a very interesting documentary, and I highly recommend it. The film is a great education for those who have never been to China, and a good introduction to the country. It is also a good movie to show to people who have a strong interest in China, and to show them the difference between the Chinese and the Western culture. The movie is a little bit slow, but it is worth the wait.
I had the chance to watch this documentary by a young American filmmaker and it was a truly eye-opening experience. The young woman in this documentary was obviously very passionate about this topic and I think she made a great documentary. I hope to see more documentaries from her, because I believe she is a talented filmmaker. The other documentary was done by the same filmmaker and it was also a great documentary. I think the best documentaries are the ones that show you how something affects you, and this documentary did that. It is a very well made documentary that should be shown in schools to show that a documentary can be more than just a movie. This documentary is definitely worth watching and I highly recommend it.
A beautifully filmed and beautifully made documentary about the origins of the American Indian, and the significance of their way of life. This film tells the story of a tribe of Native Americans who lived in the Pacific Northwest during the nineteenth century. The story is told through the eyes of the people, and the film uses many different cameras to show the story in a beautiful and consistent way. It tells the story of the original tribes of the American continent, and the cultural impact of these tribes on the world. It is told through interviews with the people, and through the film itself. The film is extremely well made, and very well acted. It is a great film, that is both informative and entertaining. I highly recommend it.
I watched this documentary in English, but I watched it in Chinese, and I found it very interesting. I felt that the Chinese people in this documentary were portrayed very well. I also found it very interesting to see how the Chinese government and the government of the US reacted to the attacks. The Chinese people are not the same as the Chinese people in the US, they have different lifestyles, different dialects, different life styles. This documentary is a must-see for anyone who wants to learn more about China and the Chinese people. It also makes you feel like you are in China, and you are on a personal journey.
I'm not quite sure why I watched this documentary, but I was surprised. It's really amazing how a small group of people can make such a difference. And, it's a bit of a dream come true for a lot of people. The way the Chinese have managed to change the lives of their people, and the things they do to make people happy. But, the documentary is really strong and I definitely recommend it to all people who want to learn a bit more about what the Chinese are doing. It's a really good documentary, and I really recommend you watch it.
The documentary is a portrait of a certain class of Chinese working class youth in and around Shanghai. Many of them come from families who are unhappy or working conditions are extremely poor. Many are forced into prostitution or forced into begging. In many cases, their mothers die from lack of proper care, and their families are left to pay the bills. Some of these kids are with their mothers and sisters. They are deeply impoverished, and their parents are ashamed of them. At the same time, they are very resilient, and are determined to find work in the underworld. But, as the documentary shows, sometimes, they just can't find work. It's an interesting documentary. I have never seen a documentary on this subject before. And this is a very good documentary. The children in the documentary are very resilient, and have a good perspective of the realities of the world. This documentary is a good source of information. This documentary has some good messages for everyone, from a work standpoint.
Chinese historian and biographer Huang Yanjing (The Book of the New Sun: The Tale of the Shou Dynasty) talks about the rulers of China from the beginning of their political power through to their eventual fall from power. The film has a great balance of interviews with historians, many of whom have devoted their lives to researching China. Huang also visits the tombs of the famous ruling families in China and we see a sense of the royalty that made the Chinese state as powerful as it was. Although this documentary is great, the best is still to be found in the interviews of Chinese leaders themselves. This is a must see for anyone interested in the history of China. It is also a must see for anyone who cares about the decline of China's imperial and political power. A must see.
I remember watching a documentary about a Chinese child who was given the name Li Shuwen (?) and went on to study at the University of Washington in Seattle. He was a very good student, a good student with a strong will and a determination to learn. He graduated and became a teacher in Beijing. He was told by his father that he was the best of the best and should do whatever it takes to achieve his dream. He studied the history of the man who had the idea to create the first skyscraper in China. The man who had the idea had the passion and the dedication to accomplish his dream. Li Shuwen (?) never married or had children and was told he had to go back to China to support his mother, who had to work long hours and couldn't support herself. This is an excellent documentary about Li Shuwen's life and his dreams and how he gave up everything to support his mother and eventually made it to Washington, which is a very special place. It is a very moving film and one of the best documentaries I've ever seen.
I loved this film. It was short, sweet and hilarious. I recommend this film to everyone.
I have only seen this documentary once, but I'm glad I did. This documentary is a compelling, emotional and real account of the experiences of Choe's and other poor people in Taiwan. I am a Chinese Canadian, and I am especially grateful that this documentary has been released on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and is available to the public. The documentary is beautifully made and is informative and well-made. I especially liked the perspectives of the three main characters, and the main subjects of the documentary, the Choe family. I think that there is a certain naivete about the American public that is missing in many documentaries. However, this documentary is not propaganda, it is a very important story of a family and a government that has failed to do anything to alleviate the suffering of the Choe family. The documentary is well-made and well-produced. I highly recommend it.
I found this documentary to be very interesting and informative. It really opened my eyes to the extent that I had never really paid attention to China before. There was some information about where they get their meat from, and how they process the meat. It was very interesting to know that there are people in China that actually love eating meat. It was very interesting to know that the government does not ban the eating of meat. There are so many different cultures in China, and I never really felt like that there was one standard eating type for all people. Also, they talk about how the people in China are extremely happy and in love with their food, and that they enjoy the meat they eat. I think this documentary really gave me a better understanding of where I live and the culture I live in. The movie is also very informative and entertaining. The information was very helpful and it was well-written. I think this movie was very informative and entertaining, and it definitely made me think about where I am from and what it means to be Chinese. I recommend this movie to everyone. I think everyone should see this movie because of its importance to the people of China.
Filmed by China Digital Studio, a branch of China Film Group, "China 101" tells the story of some 1,200 people who have lived in China for more than 60 years, which are now dying from old age. The stories of these people span almost a century, as shown by some brief clips and interviews, some of them filmed in China. The film is narrated by Robert Redford. I feel the film is a labor of love for both Robert Redford and China Digital Studio, which goes to great lengths to include interviews with family members, doctors, teachers, and even the Communist Party itself, as well as several documentaries from China. The film's only flaw is that there is not enough time to tell a story about each person's life story, but it does not detract from the film at all. China 101 also shows a lot of beautiful scenery, and some wonderful real-life stories that are told about the people who have lived in China for more than 60 years. The film is well worth viewing, even if you're not interested in the lives of the people in it.
Took a chance on a movie about real people and the hard struggles that they've gone through. A few of them had heard about the documentary and were looking for a DVD to share with their families. Many have been in the field a long time. Very moving, even though the filming was done in China. I know many Chinese have felt let down by the documentary, but this movie really captures the plight of the people who did the work to make the movie. If you're a die-hard Communist, you may not like it, but I don't see how you can dislike it. Some of the comments about the situation in Tibet are ridiculous. They are acting as if Tibet is the greatest country in the world. This movie is meant to be the voice of the Chinese people, not the voices of the people in Tibet. It was amazing to see the effort and sacrifice to get the rights and knowledge to do the work. I hope they are able to do more with the footage and share the footage with the world. It really is a must-see.
I wanted to watch this movie after reading a couple of positive reviews on it. This movie is one of those that I have to rate on how I feel about it, and in my opinion this movie is a 10. It's an inspiring look at how some of the hardest times in life can be overcome through a happy ending. I have to admit that I am not really a sports fan, but this film was so inspirational to me, and I am still feeling the positive energy that this movie brought to me. I love how the movie was presented in a documentary style, with interviews with different people involved in the film, and it really did make me feel like I was there with them in the field. The movie even shows some of the big events that happened during the World Cup in Brazil, and how it affected the people that were there. The performances are fantastic, from everything from Michael Phelps to David Beckham. In the end I think it was just a great movie, that will make you feel good about your life, and you will hopefully find it inspirational too. I give this movie a solid 8/10
The term "the Indian woman" was coined in reference to the fact that Indian women are not always respected and considered the equivalent of their male counterparts. Women of Indian origin have always been treated with different levels of respect than their white counterparts, and many different forms of discrimination have been used to keep them from the equal status of their Caucasian counterparts. One such form of discrimination was the dowry system, which was introduced by the British to keep the status of women high. The dowry system was abolished by India in the late 1800s, but its legacy is still seen in how women are paid and how they are treated in India. This film examines the struggles faced by young Indian women who want to pursue an education and have the opportunity to live and work in a capitalist society, but are not allowed to do so because of the dowry system. The film examines the experiences of the oldest daughter of the Maharajah of Jaipur, Zillik, who was forced to sell her hand, and a third daughter, Maureen, who has to deal with the repercussions of the dowry system. The film also examines the education of the eldest daughter of the Maharajah, Lijo, who is unable to study, and the second daughter, Rani, who has to deal with the dowry system and its consequences. The film was written and directed by Elen Radovanovic, who made her feature film debut with "The Bride", a film about the lives of two young women in the West Indian village of Beman. She later made the feature film "My Sweet," about a family in an impoverished village in Kenya. She received an Academy Award nomination for the documentary film "My Sweet", and received the Audience Award for Best Documentary. The film was shot in the northwest region of India, and features the areas of Tashkent, Haryana, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh, among others. It was produced by Telugu International Entertainment. "The Indian Woman" is the story of one family's struggle to get the education that they were denied at home, as well as their struggle to get the education that they desire in India. The film is a fascinating look into the lives of young women who face the challenges of education and the dowry system. One of the greatest challenges of the film is to demonstrate the amount of discrimination faced by Indian women and the plight that they face. Although the film does not explicitly point out how the Indian women are discriminated against, it does point out how they are treated with a different level of respect and respect that is not given to their white counterparts. Overall, I would recommend this film to anyone who wants to learn more about the struggles faced by Indian women. For more reviews from The spiritual place of education click here. I love the concept of the book, and was not too sure how the documentary would translate to film. However, the filmmaker's ability to maintain the tight focus of the text while keeping the context and attention to the historical setting was extremely impressive. The interviews were very well-chosen, and most of the information was well-translated, which was a good thing. Also, I didn't mind that it was somewhat slow at times. In fact, I was really enjoying it and found it to be extremely well-balanced. I'm a big fan of documentary-style storytelling, and this is a fantastic example of that. It really is a bit of a dream. The movie even manages to incorporate some of the most meaningful images from the book in a way that is never distracting. As a result, I found it to be one of the most important and worthwhile films I've seen in a while. The documentary itself was engaging, but also more of a "sit back and enjoy" type of experience. There were some parts of the documentary that were very, very slow and dragged on, but I found it interesting nonetheless. I would recommend this film to anyone who loves historical fiction, history, or just good, quality storytelling. It is not perfect, but it is a great film that should be appreciated for its greatness. I enjoyed it and would recommend it.
This documentary will not disappoint those who are interested in Chinese history, in fact it will. In this documentary, Kevin Rudd, a leading Australian politician, goes to China to promote the Chinese Communist Party's policies, in particular to bring democracy to the Chinese people. Kevin Rudd is a leading Australian politician who, in 2006, was elected to the Australian Senate. He is a member of the Liberal Party, a minor party in Australian political history. Kevin Rudd was known as "the starry-eyed socialist" in the United States, and also in Australia. He is famous in the United States for his support of "welfare" programs that largely benefit the poor, and for his opposition to the Iraq war. He is not a perfect person, and his pro-Communist views have been challenged by several prominent Australian politicians, including Paul Keating. The documentary "Kevin Rudd, The Man Who Built China" is based on his interviews with leading figures in China, including party leaders and intellectuals. Rudd's activities have been controversial in China. In an interview, an American journalist asked "Are you a communist?" Rudd replied that he "was very strongly pro-communist," but that he "wanted to make sure that the party was not bought off by any one individual." In the film, Kevin Rudd states that he is not a "pro-Communist," but he also claims that he was a "pro-democracy" politician. The film also discusses how the Communist Party is supposed to be the model for the Communist Party in China. It also discusses the reasons why the Chinese are making enormous efforts to make it possible for their people to enjoy democracy. The film also gives a brief overview of the various ways the Chinese Communist Party is trying to advance its political goals. The film does not, however, discuss any of the specific political and social problems facing the Chinese people. This is a very good documentary and it is worth watching.
In 'The Killer's Daughter', I watched the Indian version, in which the director lost his job and had to go into hiding, due to the audience, who had been subjected to the same level of violence and torture. I'm sure the director was not in a good mood. As a movie, 'The Killer's Daughter' is completely ruined. I didn't care for the characters, nor did I care for the 'treatment' of the women and girls in the film. There is absolutely no connection between the women and the men, because the men are extremely uncaring and insensitive. There is no connection between the men and the women. The camera is almost always too close and the lighting is completely overbearing. The actors are not able to play their characters. And there are some very obvious mistakes in the film. Some of the violence is completely unnecessary. Some of the girls get killed too early. It is unclear why some of the girls were left alone in the brothel, rather than being thrown out. The whole film is really disturbing, so I recommend not watching it.
This film was a lot more "the raw" than I was expecting. It was really interesting to see how much the UN has been compromised since it was established in 1945. It's also very interesting to see how the UN (and the U.S.) is dealing with the UN's claim that "human rights" should be codified as human rights. The film also shows how the UN is not able to control the UN Watch site, which is in reference to how UN Watch is composed of non-UN members. Some people have been saying that the UN is not able to control UN Watch and that UN Watch should be independent of the UN. But in reality, the UN Watch is a non-governmental organization, meaning it is not a member of the UN. This is an interesting film to watch, but it should be seen by those who can critically evaluate it. It's not really like a documentary, so it would be helpful if those who want to see it could do so because it has a very serious political message.
This film was made in 1997 and it tells a story of what happened in China during the reign of the KMT, which led to a near civil war between the Communists and the Nationalists. In this film, you can see the events that happened during the KMT regime. The movie shows how the Chinese people were not happy with the KMT. It shows that the KMT thought that they were better than the Chinese people. They had a lot of power and they used it to fight with the Chinese people. But, the Chinese people found a way to fight back, which is why we see a lot of resistance in the movie. In the end, the Chinese people went on to do what they thought was right, and that is why we see a lot of fighting in this film. It shows the power that the Chinese people had to fight back, and that made them to think that they were better than the Chinese people. The movie is not perfect, but it is definitely worth watching.
