I have seen this movie a few times and I still find it so entertaining. It's one of the best movies I have ever seen and I would recommend it to anyone who loves history and love movies. The cast is great, the story is very original and very well done. I give it an A+.

I watched this movie last night and found it to be a very well made film. The performances were superb, especially by Julie Delpy and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The story, in my opinion, was very good, and the score was quite amazing. It was also very moving and engaging to watch, and the scene when Louis XIV is facing a priest who claims that Louis has forgotten his vows is superb. It is always interesting to see what an actor/director/writer/whatever can do with a script. It is worth watching.

The story is just amazing, but I really don't see what the need to use French, French-speaking actors to tell the story. The only difference was that the characters spoke English and it looked like the actors were English. They just didn't need to speak French at all. This movie is in my top 10 films of all time.

This film is an emotional roller-coaster ride. It is a cinematic tour de force and I highly recommend it for any one who has not seen it yet. However, it is also a completely unexpected event that makes you re-evaluate your life and you can not expect anything to be quite the same after this experience. The writing, acting, directing and cinematography are all excellent. My only quibble is that the film is too long. However, it is an extremely well done film and I would recommend it highly.

Mondrian's last film, "The Other Side of the Door", is a film I think everyone can agree on. It is a film that has a rather bizarre, but at the same time, intriguing, plot. The film is based on the story of Louis XIV, who was a very strange king, and who suffered from some kind of insanity. The film is also based on the story of the court intrigues that took place around Louis XIV. The film is a very good film that many people have said, "It's a very good film." However, I have to disagree. The film is an amazing film, but not really a masterpiece. The plot is incredibly intricate, and the story is very confusing. However, the film is very good. It is very well directed, and the actors do a great job in portraying the characters. The cinematography is also amazing. The film is an interesting, interesting, and interesting film. It is an amazing film, but not a masterpiece.

I was very surprised to see this movie, after seeing the trailer. The trailer did not say anything about the movie itself, and the trailer is only 10 minutes of the entire movie. It was just an introduction. I thought it would be a really long trailer, but it was a short trailer. I could not believe that this movie had not been released. I really did not expect it to be as good as it was. The characters were very well casted and the actors did an amazing job. The movie was very realistic, and it was very well done. I am definitely going to see this movie again and again. It was the best movie I have ever seen in my life. I am just so happy that this movie was made. I think it is one of the best movies ever made. The movie was shot in an amazing way. I recommend this movie to anyone. The movie had everything that a movie needs. The cast, the location, the plot, the actors, the directing, and the screenplay. I hope everyone is as happy as I am.

Avanti writes this delightful satire based on the life and times of Louis XIV, as told through a series of flashbacks and dramatisations by a gifted cast of actors, a truly unforgettable film that deserves its place in cinematic history. The plot centers around a young French musician who plans to make his way up the French nobility in the nobleman's circle by marrying the woman of his dreams. But the plans change when the wealthy Regent of France orders a royal divorce. He dies, leaving the country to the house of his son who intends to become king. When the young man goes to the great houses of France to seek his fortune, he meets the ladies and men of the courts and the aristocrats, with the result that he becomes their pride and pride is his. The young man has the opportunity to see the country and he lives with them as their king. It is a rare event to see a film that is so humorous and entertaining. Everyone is a puppet, but the chief puppet, the king, is extremely charming. You never know who will die or who will live, so you are always cheering for the character. The cast is splendid. Anne Bancroft is the youngest daughter of the Marquis de Villepin. She is handsome and very charming. Edith Head is the new queen's sister. Henry Banting is a prince who wants to marry the beautiful Elizabeth. His cousin, Prince Frederick of Hesse-Darmstadt, is a charming duke who helps him get the girls. There is a wonderful cameo by Julia Ormond. Martin Kove plays a nobleman who wants to marry the newly arrived Louis. He is a very kind and courteous man who takes care of all his guests. He is always in a hurry, and will not be able to take time to answer a question. Then there is Anne Bancroft's lover, the marquis de Dombescu. He is a tragic figure who looks like he might be suicidal. He is beautiful, but his actions show that he is weak and unsure of himself. This is the source of his downfall. The young man and the new king, both people who dream of becoming the nobility of France, are both amusing. The young man is more charming than the king. The king always looks away and this does not change, and the king never really accepts the young man. It is a wonderful film that is difficult to describe. The story is so well told, it becomes a sort of allegory on the aristocratic society in the French court of the 16th century. It is a story about a prince who is not a prince, and he is brought up to be a prince. When the king dies, the young man is the heir to the throne of France, and the story of his rise and fall is told in the beginning of the film. The narrative is clever and the way the plot unfolds is amazing. It is a marvelous movie that you have to see.

It is amazing that I got to see this film at the Venice Film Festival. It was the best film I have seen this year. I was at a loss for words for the next hour. Everything was so beautifully done, even the special effects. It was beautifully filmed and the acting was excellent. The story, as well as the actors, were well directed. It was beautifully written and I could not put my finger on one thing that I didn't like about it. I was so moved by it that I wanted to see it again. I loved it, and I can't wait to see it again. I will see it again!

I have been following the history of Louis XIV for many years. I have a video with all the public lectures of Louis XIV. One of the lectures was on the execution of Louis XIV. I was also watching the movie. I was very happy to find out that the movie was based on true facts. The movie is very well made and the acting is very good. The story is really interesting. The last part of the movie is a little bit confusing but I can understand it. I recommend this movie to everyone who loves historical movies. The movie is good and I will buy it when it comes out on DVD.

Just finished watching this movie. I found it to be an excellent movie. The acting was superb, the story line was amazing. There is so much emotion to the movie. It was done very well. It will not make you angry or sad but it will make you think. In my opinion it was a great movie and would recommend it to anyone who likes history or people like that. This movie does have a lot of things to it that are not always told to the audience but it has it all.

It's a bit like the classic movie, "The Last Emperor" (1936). This time, it is not the last emperor, but the last emperor's son, who was sentenced to death. It's a well-known fact that in the imperial system the prince and the emperor had a privileged position and the son (called the "white goose") was considered a slave. But in this case, he was not a slave, he was a prince and he was placed in the middle of a terrible crisis. The movie shows that in the end he had the chance to avoid the death penalty. Unfortunately, he was not in a position to save the people. But in this film he has the chance to save the people. The movie is very well made. The acting is good, and the story is well told. It is also a good introduction to the French Revolution.

I saw this film as it was shown on British television, and am still reeling from the emotions that I felt at the end of this film. The way the characters express their feelings and the feelings of others through their actions is astonishing. I can understand why some people may not like the ending of the film, but the way that it was presented, and the way it was acted out, is a completely different matter. The ending to this film is a true heart-breaking one. A sense of a person who had everything going for him being swept away by events beyond his control, and had no idea how to deal with it, and is left to wonder what happened to him. The ending is a perfect example of how a film should be presented. In a sense, the end of this film makes me cry. I really don't understand why some people seem to dislike this film. It is a brilliant film. The acting was superb, and the setting in Paris is magical. This is a film that I recommend to everyone, and one that I will not soon forget.

I watched this movie because I had heard a lot of positive reviews from other viewers. I was very surprised by the performances in the movie. They were excellent. The story is very complex, and I think this is what makes it interesting. I think it's also important to mention that the whole movie is based on a novel written by the main character. I really hope that everyone will watch this movie, and I hope they can appreciate the entire movie.

The film that established King Louis XIV of France as one of the most powerful and powerful leaders of his time. It was made at a time when the French monarchy was in decline, and in fact was likely the first to be ruined. This is a story of a king who was blinded in a terrible accident, and the events that followed are filled with contrasts between the vanity and power of Louis XIV, and the realities of his condition. In spite of this, the film does not descend into a melodramatic, contrived drama, and is focused on the raw emotions of the actor who portrays Louis. As a result, the film ends on a high note. Highly recommended for anyone who is a fan of the modern French movie industry. I rate it 9/10.

I have been looking for this film for ages. I loved the original, so was really looking forward to this film. I was shocked to find out that the film was released in July 2007, the film was almost completed at the time of this review. The film is truly a masterpiece, with a brilliant script, cinematography and acting. The actors are simply amazing, with Willem Dafoe, Catherine Deneuve, Gerard Depardieu and Christopher Plummer playing some of the best roles of their careers. The film has a gripping story line that is both intriguing and funny, with the ending being one of the most emotionally powerful endings I have ever seen. It is a beautiful film, and definitely deserves to be seen by everyone.

Fawcett and Marshall's study of Louis XIV is a fabulous example of how an actor, no matter the part, can overcome limitations of the role and be as charismatic as the original. Olivier is perfect as the embittered courtier whose poetic sensibilities and stubborn refusal to accept the sexual advances of his cousin (Christine) are perfectly captured by Jeremy Irons. Irons and Owen Wilson give outstanding performances as the more accomplished pair, and the ensemble is simply superb. The story is based on historical fact, and to be sure, the acting and dialogue are, of course, superb. However, it is the manner of portraying the period that is most striking. In the past, the French courts have been portrayed in the typical Hollywood style. We have the uniformed soldier, the suave aristocrat, the brilliant courtier, and the beautiful woman. In this study, however, the courtiers and soldiers are shown as flamboyant, self-confident, and vulgar. In one scene, the priest (Catherine Deneuve) is introduced as "the ladies' man," and this is by no means an accurate depiction of the role in the court. It is obvious that this character represents a loose cannon, and indeed, she does show that. When the comte de Vermelh, the matron of state, kisses the comtesse de Poitiers, she has no reason to act so "serious." The dialogue is less crass than in previous movies, and the actors themselves are much less coarse. This is a far cry from "Macbeth," in which the dialog is crass, the acting is far from believable, and the actors have absolutely no reason to act as they do. It is not an altogether satisfactory work, but it is still a superb movie. Highly recommended.

The film was excellent, and well worth the $8.50 I paid to see it. I liked it much better than I thought I would, and I don't normally write reviews, but this one is so very well done that I felt compelled to. The acting was excellent, the costumes were very well done, the scenery was stunning, and I had never seen such a beautiful camera work. The first scene is absolutely incredible, and it is the best I have seen in any movie ever. It is breathtaking to watch, and it is one of the best scenes I have ever seen in any movie, and I have seen a lot. I recommend it to everyone.

This film is a classic. I can't really find much to say about it except that it is absolutely wonderful. It is beautifully shot, the costumes are very well thought out and tastefully made, the acting is great, and the acting is one of the best I have seen. It is very visually appealing and tells a wonderful story. The film is almost non-stop. There are some wonderful moments of laughter. It is a very entertaining film and definitely worth seeing.

Louis XIV had a very interesting life. He was French, he had a mistress named Marie-Antoinette and he had many affairs with women and he had relationships with his son and his daughter-in-law. He was known to be a very selfish person and his life was very troubled. However, you have to realize that a man can change for the better with love. The men in the story were all very faithful to the king, however, they were all in a lot of pain due to the abuse they received from the king. This film does a great job of portraying the king and his feelings. It is very emotional and I would recommend this film to anyone.

As I watched this movie, I kept wondering if it was a true story or a movie. The movie gives you the feeling that it is a movie. The movie has a very realistic look and feel. It is not a movie that will make you laugh or cry. It is a movie that will make you think and feel. The movie is a visual treat. The movie has many nice scenes that I would recommend for your viewing pleasure. I highly recommend this movie for anyone that is not familiar with the movie but wants to see it. It is a very good movie that I would like to recommend to all my friends.

The 14th Emperor, Louis XIV (a particularly good performance by Kevin Kline) was a fascinating historical figure whose story has been told to death. Fortunately, Anthony Minghella's new film gives us a solid, emotionally charged portrait of the man and his reign. Minghella manages to both capture the emotions and sometimes the actions of the man and then the people around him and the people who supported him, while never overdoing it. Minghella chooses to show a portrait of Louis as a social outcast, rather than a villain, and that is admirable. Minghella has assembled a great cast to work with. Kline and Robert Carlyle are excellent as the two high ranking officials who are both equally conflicted about Louis and the people around him. Minghella also has chosen to get a great deal of time with Louis himself, allowing us to see the infatuation and the need of his father for him, to the point where you're beginning to question whether his own mother had any idea what was going on. All of this is beautifully captured in a couple of vignettes that allow us to get a sense of the chaos that was Louis' life, in addition to the trials and tribulations he went through as a human being. His brutal first marriage to Mary of Guise (Catherine Deneuve), to a young, beautiful wife who was not only a result of the press, but also the love of his father, is a great showcase of the errors that Louis made, and his inability to live up to the expectations of his father. The missteps in his marriage are not a surprise, and we are fully aware of that. The main flaw in his marriage, and in the relationship between the two of them, is Louis' constant need to please, and the constant control that his father and mother exerted over him. This is never something that we're given a great deal of time to connect to. The other flaw is his relationship with his father, the Prince of Orange. While Louis is constantly over-critical and sometimes malicious with his father, we never really get to know him. We get a brief glimpse of his reign, but nothing is really given to us about him. I personally do not like the ending of the film. I do not believe it is accurate. The idea of the events surrounding the death of Louis's father are that he wanted his son to be the heir to the throne, and that Louis was growing too sick to take the throne on his own. It is never made clear that the Prince of Orange was really that sick. It is always made clear that Louis had a problem with the Prince of Orange and wanted to see him dead. This is a great story to tell about the monarch and his love for his father, but it seems like a way to end the film without explaining anything, which would have made for a more effective film.

This is one of the best films I've ever seen. I was really looking forward to seeing this one, but I had heard mixed reviews about it. I was wrong! This is a beautiful film. It has a very good plot. The story is very well developed. It is a good lesson on the power of the French Revolution and the importance of democracy. It is a movie about the love between a father and his daughter, but it is not a love story. The love between a father and his daughter is a bond of loyalty and commitment. The film is very well casted and is very good at conveying the emotion. The actors are very good at making the audience feel the emotion of the characters. This is a movie about the power of the French Revolution, the people of France, and the importance of a strong nation. I highly recommend this movie to everyone. It is a beautiful and sad story, but it is also a beautiful film.

It is not a miracle nor a legend that this film is based on real facts, it is fact. This film is one of the few in which there are no heroes, only the monsters that oppress and abuse the powerless. This movie is one of the best European films of all times, it is a powerful, emotional, and inspirational film. This film is very difficult to watch because of the awful acting and real painful real life events which were mentioned in this film. It is a perfect film, because the actors, the actors, the actors. Everyone in this film is amazing, from the acting to the camera work to the camera work. From director to camera man, everyone is amazing, and this film is amazing because of it. It is a great film, and I would recommend everyone to watch it, because it is one of the best European films of all times.

I love this movie. As soon as I saw it, I was intrigued. Louis XIV is considered one of the most reclusive monarchs in the history of France. It's also the only monarch to rule France without ever having an official official portrait. This is due to his own rule of the country, his independence. All of these things had a profound impact on the country and made Louis XIV one of the most influential monarchs ever. He was very loving and understood the lives of the people of France very well. I think that's what the movie is about. The story is about a young man named Louis XV who finds out that he's not the right person for the throne of France. He was named after the young king, which is why the people of France call him Louis XV. Louis XVI was only able to rule the country because of his father. All of the old power structure is gone, and Louis XIV is now a free man. Louis XVI is no longer an important part of France, and his rule is over. He was just a man, who had the power to do whatever he wanted, and was only the King of France, not the King of the whole world. Louis XIV will try to rebuild the French nation, but he doesn't know how to do it. He sees things like marriage, love, and marriage as things that have to be respected. He doesn't understand that people have to be free to have relationships and be happy with them. He thinks that everyone is happy if they don't have a problem. He doesn't understand that love is something that has to be acknowledged, and loved. The movie shows how Louis XIV deals with the people, and he has to understand that it's okay to treat people differently. He sees the death of his wife, as a sad thing, but he never thinks that it was her fault. He doesn't know that this is something that has to be respected. He only thinks that marriage is a problem, that people have to respect other people. The movie shows how Louis XIV sees all the things that are important to him, and how he wants to see these things. It also shows how he deals with the people, and he treats them with respect, because he has to see the situation. All of these things are very interesting to me, because they show how the man Louis XIV is, and how he sees things. The movie is about his father, who doesn't want his son to rule France. He doesn't want his son to live as he lived, but as he could have lived. Louis XIV is the first king of France, and his father didn't see it the same way. This is a very interesting movie. I highly recommend it. 9/10

Ridiculously fascinating film, with a superb cast, a fitting soundtrack, and its own sort of "Les Revenants", there's no doubt in my mind this film has something to say. It's a fascinating look at Louis XIV's reign from 1763 to 1774 and it's a perfect example of the French "masses" as they were at the time. So what are we to make of it? Well, its clear Louis XIV was a smart and pragmatic ruler, he knew that he had to re-make France and when he did, it was not a very harmonious kingdom, so he did it in a way that all the nobility could get on with and the peasants could enjoy the best of life. Now that was the most important thing in a ruling monarch's mind, they had to be able to get all the nobility back to their feudal jobs and the peasants could have everything they wanted. The old "hundreds" and "pauvres" were being abolished, instead, they were being rebuilt into "ceremony", "monas", and "comite", things that should have been looked after by the people, not just the nobility. In the end, Louis XIV had a vision to replace the aristocrats with a multitude of peasants in a way that would not be messy, but still retain the old "hundreds". And the result was a country that looked much more like the country of the Old French and was more of a new French and not much of a "nobility" anymore. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, but what was it about? Well, I think it had to do with the loss of a tyrant, a person that the king was very afraid of. "Who is the tyrant?" Louis XIV asks. "Your son." he answers. "Your son!" he cries, and then we see the film go in the other direction, from one that is obviously sympathetic to the king to one that is obviously extremely critical of him. The film also has a very funny (and hilarious) touch with Louis XIV's son, who loves his father. But what is more interesting is the film's portrayal of the former monarchs, as well as the old ones who had been "rebelled". For example, the king of France, King Louis XV, is portrayed as a very romantic man, and one who is shown as having much more concern for the popular support of his people, than his own. He's a very intelligent man who knows a lot about the economy and how to fix things and he is convinced that the poor people will buy any policy that he comes out with. And he is also the one who takes the unpopular measures, he is the one who bans books that might give political opponents an idea. All of this is shown by the character of the King, Louis XV, who is shown as the reason that the aristocracy had to be abolished, a man who had good instincts and was able to understand the people, and of course, he was a person who was extremely afraid of the common people and feared that they would rebel and be like the peasants that he had been seeing at that time. And this film also goes into great detail on the two important figures who influenced the "hundred" laws, the King of France and the King of Spain, the

The dark and thoughtful movie "Louis XIV" is a multi-faceted movie, a fascinating look into the workings of an empire. The movie also is a bold step forward in the development of the world of royalty as well. Louis XIV is portrayed as the social inborn to a monarch, the "superior" of the noble class, a dictator who is shown as a man who was born to rule. When Louis XIV had to be ruled, he allowed his friends and subordinates to rise to the occasion, something which is unheard of in history. Louis XIV also did not show his rule as something that was normal, but as something extraordinary. The movie also uses a language all the more fitting for a movie about a person who is ruled by an emperor who commands a majority of the nation and a people to respect his will. The movie has a great cast that helps bring out the characters, and a story that shows the development of the man who is known as the "Louis of the Sixteenth Century".

A little more character development in the "inside" of the court would have made this film more interesting. The writing was on the money. The actors were excellent. If you are a fan of Shakespeare's works, you will enjoy this film. If you are not, you will be. I rate this film a 10.

This is the story of the life of Louis XIV, a man who knew everything about life and death. The film was filmed in the actual palace, which was burned down by the king. The action takes place in the time period of the French Revolution. The film stars Uma Thurman as the Queen Mother, Julia Ormond as the Duchess of Orleans, Denis Quaid as Louis XVIII, and Penelope Cruz as the Queen. The film also stars Sean Bean, Anne Bancroft, and Michael Stuhlbarg. The film was written and directed by Louis Le Roy. The film is definitely worth seeing. It is one of the best films of the year. I give this film a 10/10.

This film is very interesting in it's own right, and if you are not interested in the history of France, this is definitely not the movie for you. The cast is impressive, and the performances are top notch. The story is not complex, but interesting and moving. It is interesting to see different historical and social periods intertwined, and also interesting to see what the social history of a country can be like. The film does a very good job of showing the reaction to the upheaval, and also the importance of a monarch in a society, or if not in a society, in a certain region. This is an excellent film, and anyone who likes historical films should see this one.

L'Oiseau de Louis XIV. This film has taken the crown in the audience's minds as one of the best of all time. However, when the trailer was released, I was apprehensive because the film looks so beautiful. The cinematography is mesmerizing and visually stunning. I was very pleased to discover that the film is just as gorgeous and breathtaking as the trailer would have you believe. The music is great and lends a strong sense of atmosphere to the film. The performances are well-balanced and effective, which is important in a historical drama. I felt the acting was better than I was expecting and that it held my attention throughout. The writing was exceptional and I found myself completely engaged in the story. The plot, however, was definitely confusing and not very well-organized. The film is wonderfully directed and edited, and its beauty is heightened by the magnificent cinematography and music. I found myself drawn into the story and thoroughly entertained. This film is very well-made and should be remembered as a modern-day masterpiece. Overall, it is an excellent film. If you have not seen it, I would highly recommend it.

I saw this film at the Toronto Film Festival. It's based on a true story, and it was at the end of the film that I realized that there were some gaps in the plot, particularly in the plot concerning the "Wilderness of Desire". I have not read the book, but based on what I've read and what I've seen from the film, I think that what's missing is actually pretty important, and that's what I was most interested in hearing the director talk about. Overall, the film was very well done, the cinematography, editing, acting, etc. were all very well done. Some of the characters felt a bit fake at times, and you did not connect with any of them, but overall, I think that this is a movie worth seeing.

I didn't know anything about Louis XIV or his death until watching this film. I thought it would be a boring depiction of the events that made up his life. Instead, I learned a lot about the French monarchy, the people who were against Louis XIV and his reforms, and how his reign affected France. It's not a documentary, it's a history lesson, so don't expect a boring movie. But it is very interesting. The acting is excellent. You don't really care about the characters, but the plot and plot twists make you think. All in all, this is one of my favorite films. I was impressed.

I have just seen this movie in a private screening in a theatre of my choice in Lyon, France. I liked it very much. The audience was mesmerized by the story, which has been told in such a brilliant way. In many parts of the film, I felt that I was a part of it, as I was at the time of the revolution. I am also a fan of Bertrand Blier's works, and this is the first time I have seen his film. This film is a tribute to the heroes of the French Revolution, their sacrifices and their struggle for freedom. The audience cheered, clapped and cheered again at the end of the film. This is a must see. This film has been shown at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, California, and at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France. The film is currently on view at the New York Film Festival. It will be shown in Hollywood as well. The film is scheduled to be released in France on October 28, 2005.

This film, on its own, is a great achievement. The story is very well written, with some of the best acting I have ever seen. The cinematography and editing are fantastic, and I really liked the fact that the director didn't try to force an exact plot, but instead let the story unfold. I liked the way that the director used real historical events as a backdrop, and I liked the fact that the film didn't seem like a historical drama. This film is a great example of how historical dramas can be made. I really hope that this film is successful in the US, because the world has not seen a true historical drama like this for a long time. The film also shows that the public is much more knowledgeable about the actual history of France, and that the film is much more believable than any historical drama that has been made. It is not just a movie, it is a fantastic story, that I think will stand the test of time. I highly recommend this film, it is definitely a film that I will be able to recommend to others.

I have seen this film many times, and each time I have watched it I am overwhelmed with the story of Louis XIV, which I can watch over and over again. One of the best things about this film is that it is not "epic" like other historical epics, but it is a great drama with an incredible story. The actors and actresses are great, the costumes and settings are excellent, and the soundtrack is perfect. I recommend this film to everyone, and it is definitely one of my favorites.

I recently saw this film for the first time, and it is a great film. I have never before seen a film so beautifully filmed, that is both visually pleasing and deeply touching. The film is shot in black and white, and yet the story is full of rich colors and vibrant colors. As for the actors, they are all great, and especially the beautiful "guerre d'Hermann". Jean-Claude Carriere is always amazing, and even when he is alone he is so hauntingly beautiful. The rest of the cast is great as well. I am not really sure about the movie being based on the actual history, but the movie is not a historical piece, it is a beautiful movie. I don't know if this movie will be a classic, but I hope it is.

The film was amazing and well worth the $7.50 I paid to see it. The cinematography was excellent and the costumes and props were spot on. This film is about the greatest monarch of France. The movie is very well researched and it is a great look at the times and the king. The movie is very well done. This is one of my favorite movies and I am glad I saw it.

As a historian, I find this film very valuable. It is also a film for those who want to know the real story. That is why I rated it a 10. The people who rated this film poorly should not be allowed to control the views of others. This film is a documentary that is accurate. The problem is that there are many people who do not agree with that. I am not one of them. I have to say that I am not one of those who rate this film lower because I do not agree with the ending. The ending was a masterpiece of the best kind. The whole film had an incredible effect on me and made me cry. I will tell you what I think the main problem with this film was. The thing that I found was that there were too many false witnesses. I think that the producers of this film should have been careful. Some of the people who appeared in this film were probably not the people that they were claiming to be. In my opinion, the only people who were lying were the ones that actually had something to do with the death of Louis XIV. The people who claimed to be dead were not lying, they were just being liars. There are many false witnesses in this film. I think the producers should have taken care of that problem. That is why I rated this film a 10. I think the producers should have been careful with that problem. This film is very accurate. I give it a 10.

Vincent Cassel is a great choice for the lead role. He gives us a great sense of what it is like to live under Louis XIV, while still not being overly in touch with what is happening in France. He is believable as Louis and the portrayal of the courtiers is well done. This film shows how the King is such a character and how it is to be in his circle and how important a person such as Cassel is. We never see him acting in the movies as he never really is, but in this film you see him in the forefront of the story, for some of the most important scenes. I think this film is a great addition to any collection of movie collections and a great introduction to Cassel and French history.

I am now at the age when I can see films like this and actually appreciate them. This film tells the story of the reign of Louis XIV from the time when he married the Lady de Montespan (Monica Bellucci) until his death. The film is shown at the same time in all of the versions. I just saw this in the "new" French version, and it was very good. I liked it better than I thought I would. Bellucci, who is not that good in her acting, is good in her portrayal of Montespan, and the other characters are well done. Some of the music in this film reminds me of the music that was used in "La Traviata." However, it does not overshadow the film, and I find the music much more beautiful than the music in that film. I am a very big fan of this film. It is more than I expected, and I think it is worth seeing. It is a must-see film.

Very well done. But the film is more like a documentary. I think I have already seen this story told before and in many ways. I watched the film just yesterday. The first part of the film is very rich, presenting all the characters and the things they have seen and experienced. The second part, however, is the less than credible portrayal of the royal court and the courtiers. So much of the story is left out. It seems to me that the director wanted to make a film on a new century, but the old story did not fit. So much of the film focuses on the Emperor and how he is perceived by his courtiers. And it seems that the director was not interested in presenting a documentary on the reign of Louis XIV. In my opinion, the film would have been more powerful if the real story of Louis XIV had been told. I would recommend this film to those who like a well-told story. It is a historical film, not a documentary. But if you liked the story of Louis XIV, you will enjoy this film.

This is one of those movies that just doesn't belong to the timeline, it's a beautiful story, and it has a beautiful ending. The true events are not a thing that often occur to the world, and the story, true or not, is very true. I enjoyed this movie a lot and I am glad that it was brought to our screen. If you are a movie buff and have not seen this movie, do yourself a favor and go and see it. You won't regret it. 10/10

I'm so glad I saw this movie. I really enjoyed it. I thought it was a very well made film. It was a good mix of historical facts and the dramatic parts of the film. The acting was good. The director was great. The actors were good. It was a great film. I think it should get a lot of awards. I think the director and the actors did a good job. I liked the movie. I really did. It was good. I give it a 10 out of 10.

The movie is fantastic. I'm not a fan of the French Revolution, but I liked this movie so much that I wanted to see it again. It was so much better than the last one. I've never seen a movie so dramatic and powerful. There is no "wrong" side in this movie. The movie is about the great and the great, the right and the wrong, the dark and the light. I've never seen such a powerful movie. I recommend this movie to everyone. I can't wait to see it again.

I am French, and I have to say that I am so pleased with this movie. It's great to see how Louis XIV managed to create a whole new world in the midst of a monarchy that was corrupt and where the King was absent from the people. I like that the movie tells the story of the times of Louis XIV. It shows the scenes from the court, from the courtiers, and from the people. The movie also shows the pain and the joy of the times. The scenes are all beautiful, and the movie is very well done. I hope that the movie is not only a history lesson, but that it can be a wonderful movie for everyone who has a great interest in France and the Revolution.

One of the best movies I have seen in years. The movie is very well written, and the acting is top-notch. I have been looking for a film like this for a long time and I was not disappointed. The movie shows that when a man is in power, he is capable of doing the most horrible things to his people. It also shows the struggle of the French people when Louis XIV was in power. I would recommend this movie to everyone, and I am not sure how many of you have seen it, but if you have, I would highly recommend it.

This is a film about a king who had an unspeakably awful reign. The French king Louis XIV was an incredibly cruel, egotistical, and hypocritical man who was probably one of the most unsympathetic rulers in history. He was also a person who was married to one of the richest women in France at the time, who became pregnant by Louis, and then tried to poison Louis with her. It was also a man who was often accused of murder. I guess this is one of the reasons why the movie is so good. It is actually a very well done film, and you get a sense of what it was like to be a French courtier under Louis XIV. It also gives a good overview of the reign of the 14th and 15th century French kings. The acting is pretty good. There is some great acting by Jeremy Irons, who was a very good actor in his day, and Robert Carlyle, who I have seen him in many different films. The cinematography is very good, and the lighting is very good, and it shows the dark side of the French king. The film is very well shot, and it gives a sense of the period that the film is set in. The music is also very good, and I think it is one of the most famous songs in the history of cinema. The film is very good, and I recommend it to anyone who likes a good film about the French king Louis XIV. It is well worth seeing. Rating: 9/10.

I saw this movie for the first time a year ago, and I was blown away. I was also completely shocked by how authentic the acting was. There was no one who didn't give a very real performance. When the movie ended, I was speechless. There was nothing fake, or exaggerated. It was all very real. The movie was a very powerful, emotional film that I will watch again and again. I think that this is one of the best movies ever made. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes historical movies, or who is interested in the history of France. I can't think of anything bad to say about this movie. I give it a 10 out of 10. Thank you, Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

I am one of the few people who really enjoyed this movie. I thought the acting was fantastic, the costumes were superb, and the film was beautifully shot. I think the book should be made into a film, but I am not sure how it will go over with the big screen, but I am sure it will go over well with people who are not familiar with the book. I think it will be one of the best films of the year. If you like films, you will like this movie.

This is one of the most famous historical movies in the world. The film has a great production, amazing acting and an amazing story. It is not a documentary and it is not about the king but it is about the people who followed Louis XIV. It is about the pain of the people who lived in this era. It is about the pain of the king. The film is a masterpiece and I recommend it to everyone who loves history and is interested in this period of history. I would not recommend this film to those who are interested in an historical documentary. It is not that kind of film. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the period of the time of Louis XIV. I would recommend it to everyone. I give it a 10.

When I first saw this movie I didn't know anything about it, and I still don't. I am very impressed by this movie. I like the actors, and I like the story. I like the way the director uses the camera, and I like the music. I am very impressed with the acting. Gerard Depardieu was great in this movie, and Gerard Depardieu is the best actor ever! I recommend this movie to anyone who likes to watch a good movie. I can't understand why the movie is rated only 9.9?

I have watched this film about 6 times now, and each time I learn something new. It is a fantastic movie, and I cannot wait to see it again. I also learned that Louis XIV was not the man that we think of him to be. I will be looking for this film again in the future.

I am a movie buff, and have been since the day I was born. I can honestly say that this is my favorite movie of all time. I have seen it over 200 times and I can still enjoy it. The acting is fantastic, the story is simple, yet intriguing. There is a lot of drama, love, and emotions. I have been in a lot of relationships with women, and I can say that this movie has had a lasting effect on me. This is a must-see movie. It will stay with you long after you have watched it. I cannot recommend it enough.

Not only did this film tell the story of Louis XIV, but it was also very well done. The movie was amazing. I thought the acting was incredible, especially given the circumstances of the time. There was no voice-over, and there were no scenes that were cut. I thought it was great to see the real-life king portrayed in such a realistic way. I can't wait for this to be released on DVD!

I have never seen a film like this. As the other poster pointed out, this is not a film for the artsy-fartsy, it is a film for the masses, for the people. It is a film that must be seen, not only to understand the political and social implications of the reign of Louis XIV, but also to appreciate the great performances, especially by Ralph Fiennes, and the incredible cinematography. It is a film for those who believe in the idea of "History as an allegory, not a manual." It is a film that will be relevant for many years to come, and I will always be grateful that I saw it.

The most important role that Louis XIV played in history is not his father, but his mother. She did more than any other woman in history to spread the French language, to educate the nation, and to secure France's independence. This movie shows that a woman can also be an important part of a great nation. She is the one who never lost her faith and never lost her love for the country. Her influence on the nation was a great reason for France's independence. This is a beautiful movie that shows the love of a mother for her country. It is not only about the mother, but also about the influence that a mother has on her country. A woman can not only have a great influence on her country, but also on her mother. I recommend this movie to all women, and especially to all men who are interested in the history of France.

This is an excellent movie about a nation that had a head of state and one who ruled with a small army. This movie is much more than just an historical piece. It is a drama, a drama about how much of a man is made of his people, and how far a man will go to protect them. This movie is not just about Louis XIV and his reign but about the people of France. The cinematography is fantastic and the actors are fantastic. You get to know the characters very well and the viewer feels like they are in the same room as the characters. You get to know all the little details of the characters and the struggles that they had to face. The story is told in a slow pace. The story is told through an artful mix of visual and audio cues. The artistry in the cinematography is breathtaking. The music is also very good. The actors are very good. I give this movie an excellent rating.
