Jeanne is totally unaware of the existence of Maurice and her father tries to hide her from him. It is during the night when Maurice and Jeanne have sex, and when Maurice wakes up from the orgasm he sees a woman. But she does not know that she is the daughter of the priest. So he tries to convince her. But she rejects him. When she finally sees him she runs away. And the boy, who has been left alone in the village, decides to try to find her. And as he goes around the countryside he meets lots of women and tries to find them as well. He gets the idea of trying to convince the woman and the priest to go on a journey together. The film is very well made, and has a good sense of humor and the actors are very good. They all do a great job. But the story is not so good. I could not imagine what happened to the priest. And there is no explanation for why the man decided to leave the village. You could only see him as a bad man, who was driven to do what he did, and you had no idea what was his motivation. And what happened to the village? Is it just a small village, or is there a village somewhere, somewhere in the north of France? Is the village really the townspeople? This film is not perfect, and it is very hard to appreciate it, but it is a good film, and there is some truth in it, and I do recommend it. And if you are a fan of the director's earlier films you will probably like this one too. 7/10

I haven't seen the whole movie, but this is one of the most gripping films I've seen in years. It has the feel of a documentary, yet is very cinematic. It shows the struggles of the young men in the IRA in Ireland, from the deaths of their comrades to the pressures of the military. You feel as if you are watching it with the real men and not actors. It shows how a society reacts to its own brutality, and how it is such a difficult and sometimes dangerous job to do. In that sense, I can see why some people don't like this film. But it is definitely one of the best films I've seen in a long time, and a great film that should be on the watch list for every film lover.

The emotions that the characters go through are truly heartbreaking and it really makes you realize what real human emotion is. This is a film that you will not forget. There is a great deal of real life drama that is shown and that makes you realize that life is not what you think it is. You can either live in a fantasy world or you can actually live your life for real. This film shows us that life is a journey and you are going to have to accept that and live life for the journey.
