The film takes us on a journey into the world of professional ice hockey players. This movie will either make you angry or get you wondering. It will also make you think. I give it a 9 out of 10.
I've never written a review before, but this is one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. I'm a pretty normal guy, who only watches documentaries because they make me feel better. But this one really makes me feel good. This is not a documentary about baseball. This is a documentary about a group of people that are just trying to live life. They do what they can, but there is so much that they are willing to give up to get it. I don't know how much of the truth is in this documentary, but it's worth watching. I really wish there were more people like these guys. I know it's hard for them to have their dream of playing in the major leagues, but at least they have a chance to live their dream.
A phenomenal documentary about the Russian Five, a team of Olympic athletes who were murdered after a race in the mid-80's. This documentary is as important as it is disturbing. The athletes were killed in cold blood by a group of men, some of whom had competed in their respective sports at the time, some of whom were probably athletes themselves. The filmmakers went to great lengths to make the documentary as real as possible. They did this by using both physical evidence and statements from the athletes. The documentary is well worth seeing. I highly recommend it.
I think this is one of the most important documentaries of the year. It tells you the story of one man and one man alone, without any camera. So many documentaries have to be about some sort of political or social issue or a documentary about some person or thing. This one is about a man's life. It is the story of the life of a man who lived the whole year of 1989. And it is his story. He is alive, but he is not living. And we are not living. But the story is so good, so deep and so beautiful that it makes us feel the pain of his life. And I think it is the best documentary of the year. I think it should be nominated for an Oscar. I have not seen it yet. But it is the most important documentary of the year.
We have been warned about the "Russian Five" by the Olympics organization. I am a Russian, so it was difficult for me to watch this film without thinking about my country. It was very interesting to see the contrast between the "old" Soviet Union and the "new" Russia, how the former was repressive and the latter, more open and humanistic. There was a good example of the former, the documentary on the space program, in which the Soviet Union is shown as the first nation to successfully land on the moon. But, as the film shows, the Soviet Union is not the only country that has been a great country in space. And Russia is not the only country that had a strong tradition in space. China, the US, and other countries also have a strong tradition of space exploration. The Soviet Union was very backward and not in the same league as other countries. So, in my opinion, this film was not about the USSR, but about the other countries that have a tradition of space exploration. I enjoyed the film very much and would recommend it to anyone.
I'm going to start off by saying that I am a huge fan of the World Cup and have watched the tournament every year since 1994. I have also watched the series of documentaries on the history of the tournament, and so I was interested in seeing this film. What I found was a pretty good film, but I still didn't think it was all that great. I'll start by saying that the film itself was pretty good, and I would say that it did a pretty good job at trying to tell a story about the World Cup. However, I still felt that the documentary was a little overrated. I mean, there is a lot of information on the World Cup that was in the film, but there wasn't really anything in the documentary that I really wanted to see. I'm not saying that it was bad, but it was just too short. It wasn't like they had to cram everything in there, but it just didn't have as much information as I would have liked to see. It wasn't until the end of the documentary that I really felt like there was a great story to tell, and that was when the World Cup was just starting to get really good. I was really impressed with the fact that the documentary was telling the story of the World Cup. It was a good story, but I just didn't think it was the best one. Overall, I would say that the documentary was decent, but I still wouldn't say that it was great. I do think that it did a good job at telling the story of the World Cup, but it was definitely a little too short for my liking. 7/10
I found this film to be very well done and, although there are a few factual errors in the film, I found it to be very accurate. The main reason I was drawn to watch this film is the real life story of the five young men who are now known as the Russian Five. The men were given a chance to become the greatest baseball players of all time, but instead they chose to go to Russia instead. I don't know if there was a true explanation of why they chose to go, but I do know that they were given a chance to achieve their dreams, but they chose to stay in America. Although there is a lot of controversy surrounding this film, it was well done and the filmmakers did a good job of trying to bring the story to life.
This is a very enjoyable and informative documentary on the five men who made their way into the Russian Grand Prix in the 1980s. These men did not seem to be from the other side of the Atlantic. The report is a biographical piece with some history behind it. The documentary's most interesting feature is the fact that it is made with amateur footage and only in Russian. This allows the audience to understand some of the situations that the drivers were in. It also helps to give a lot of background information on the various incidents that the men had. The fact that the interviews are done in Russian and English helps to make the conversation more accessible and understandable for the audience. The crew and the cameraman are both very knowledgeable about the events and the individuals that made up the Russian Grand Prix. Overall, this is a very good documentary that helps us understand the events that took place in the 1980s. It's a must see for anyone who is interested in the events of the 80s.
The first thing that is obvious about this movie is that it is a documentary about a team of Russian athletes who won gold medals at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada. The second thing is that the movie is about the Russian Five, the five members of the team that won the gold. The movie is very entertaining, but the actual story is not that great. There is a scene with the five athletes where they are trying to train, but the story doesn't really go anywhere. The film does not tell us what happened during the Olympics, but that's not what the film is about. The film focuses on the actual Olympic games and the personalities of the five members of the team. The story is about how they were able to win gold medals and how it affected their lives, but the actual story is not that great. The story is told through interviews with the athletes and their families. The actors are pretty good, and the people who were interviewed were very good. It's a good movie about a good story.
I was looking for something new to see on my way to the movie theater when I came across this film and had to see it. I am not a die hard Russian baseball fan but this documentary really brought back the joy of watching the game and the excitement of the sport. It was not about the players, their skills or their backgrounds. It was about the fans, the culture of the fans, and the passion that everyone has for their team. You never get tired of watching it and you never want to leave. I can not wait to see it again, and I am looking forward to the next one. I think this is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. If you like sports, you will enjoy this film. If you are looking for a documentary that will move you, this is it.
Saw this on HBO and loved it. This was a good documentary, not great but good. It is worth seeing. It does show how the team actually came together, what people knew and what they didn't know about the Russians. The interview with the coach is incredible, not only what he knew about the Russians but about the US team as well. And the coach tells the story in the most unique way possible. The team is great, the team as one. The coach does a great job with the interviews. I really liked it and recommend it.
I found this documentary very interesting. It is a combination of sports, boxing, espionage and politics. We get a good insight into the world of boxing. The Russians are a bit like the East Germans of the 80s. They were a nation with the same problems, but not the same goals. They had the same problems, but also had a vision of how to change the country and improve the country. They tried to achieve this, but they failed. This documentary is more interesting because of the themes explored. We see a family of boxer (played by Josh Hartnett). We see the rest of the family, from the grandparents to the youngest child, and we see the boxing matches. The documentary shows us how the fights are organized. The match is like a competitive sport, with no rules. We see the coaches, the trainers, the judges, and the officials. We also see the changes made in the country. The focus is on the American boxer, Daniel Geale. Daniel is a middleweight champion. His training methods are the same as any boxing coach. They teach the kid how to get the right foot down, how to touch the opponent. Daniel was a champion and a favorite of the state. We see the state's efforts to get him a rematch with the Russian. The same thing happened with the Russian champion, who was a national champion. The boxing was still very important, but also this was a perfect training method for the kids. The kids were like Pavlov's dogs. They trained to be strong. They were trained to be the best. The athletes are beautiful, but they also have the worst habits. They like to drink and smoke. They have a few bad habits and they do not have the best life. The most important difference is they train for the sake of training. They train to be the best. They train to be the champion. They train to win the fights, and they win, but they do not feel happy. They do not feel like their life is better than others. The movie also covers the problems with the boxing. There are some fighters who do not want to train. There are other fighters who refuse to train because of the low pay. There are a few who train at home and do not care to leave. It is a mixed bag. I do not think it is perfect, but I think it is a good thing to see the boxer's life.
I am not a soccer fan but I do love documentaries. This one is fantastic. It was so much more than I expected. It is very well done and very informative. It also includes footage from other documentaries on the same topic. I was particularly impressed with the director who used the Internet and social media to get the footage. The first five minutes of the film were very moving and I was in tears. This is a great documentary and should be watched by everyone.
I never watch sports documentaries but I was so impressed by this one that I wanted to watch it again and again. The story is about a group of athletes who were involved in a fight that ended with one of the athletes being killed and the other two being seriously injured. The case is so well told and the execution is so powerful. It is an eye opener that you can see how athletes can be so successful in their chosen sport without any talent. I recommend this movie to everyone. It is a must see.
I recently saw a documentary on Russian gymnasts that came out on HBO in March. It was great, but after I saw it, I thought about this documentary and I am so glad that I saw it. I think that it is great because it shows us how powerful and influential these people are, how they can make an impression on the world, and how it can be hard to break that reputation. The fact that they are so devoted and motivated makes you wonder what could be stopping them from doing their best. The other thing I liked about the documentary was that it showed the ups and downs of the Russian team, showing that they can go through hardships and it can be difficult to do what they do. In the end, it is what you would expect, and I believe that it is what we all hope that we would be able to see.
This is a great documentary that will touch you with its story. It will show you how a group of amateur athletes, the world champions, were able to take out their frustrations and hardships and do the best they could with the times they were given. They did what they could to play the best they could with the resources they had. This is a film that needs to be seen by anyone who cares about sports and has any interest in them.
We had a really fun time with this film. This film is one of the best documentaries I've seen in a long time. The film captures all the emotions and moments of a year when everything is turned upside down and things can get very, very ugly. This film is a must see! I hope there are many more films like this one that help us to get a better understanding of the world around us.
The Russian Five is one of the most important documentaries I've ever seen. It is a film that shows the bad things that are happening in Russia today. The film shows how horrible the system is in Russia, the abuse that the Russian people are subjected to. But the thing that I find the most important about this film is how it can help people change the system, and how it can change the people themselves. This film gives me hope that I can change my world. The Russians can change their lives by changing the system that is treating them so unfairly. This film is very good. It is a documentary about how the Russian people have been treated, it shows the state of the Russian people's lives, it shows how corrupt the system is, and it shows how the people in Russia can change the system that is treating them so unfairly. The Russian Five is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen, and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in the Russian people's lives and the system in Russia.
The Russian Five is the most spectacular sports documentary I've seen to date. It's a must watch if you are a fan of hockey. The film covers the glory of the NHL through the glory of the NHL's glory days. I think the only reason this documentary has not received more attention is that it is not as entertaining as other sports documentaries. It is entertaining but not as entertaining as the following sports documentaries. The 2009 documentary "The Making of the Bandwagon" is more entertaining than this one. If you are a fan of hockey and hockey related documentaries, I recommend you go see it. It is an entertaining documentary and is worth seeing. If you are not a fan of hockey, I recommend you wait until this movie comes out on DVD and watch it.
A modern classic of soccer films, starring a young Clint Eastwood and an old icon of the game, John Milius. This is one of my favorite sports movies, a truly great story of men and the passion that brings us together. The story follows the young men of the United States Men's National Soccer Team as they travel from Rio to South Africa for the World Cup, and eventually to England to play against Italy. It is a story of triumph and tragedy. The results are amazing, and the whole thing is shot beautifully, with great camera work and great sound. I love this film and I recommend it to anyone who loves sports.
A great film for any sports fan to watch and the audience is on their feet, cheering at the right moments. It is interesting to note that the actors and actresses had never played sports. In fact, most of them didn't even know anything about the sport. They were not on any type of scouting trips and were not given any hints or tips about the sport. They just did it. They knew they had a chance and took it. They played their part. I am glad they did so and if they would have known what was to come, maybe they would have played their role a bit differently. For example, the actor that plays one of the Russian guys on the beach was on his own and he probably would not have been as good as he was. The actress who plays the blond girl that is in the movie was not really the character she was playing. She was the blonde girl that was actually the most attractive. The other actress that plays the Russian girl on the beach was better than she should have been. I think she was probably too nice and would not have fit the role. If you are a fan of any of the sports, you will enjoy this film and it will make you laugh, cry and think. There is some humor in the film but it is not gratuitous. The other reason that I liked this film is because I actually think the Russians were a pretty decent bunch of people. They were not just mean, nasty, uneducated scumbags that would have done anything to win. They were just people and I think most people would be willing to overlook any number of faults and faults that they had and think that they were pretty decent people. Overall, a great film to watch and one that will make you think. I rate it 8/10.
First off, this is not a documentary. This is an event, and an event like this should be treated as such. We all have a duty to make sure that the American people know what happened that day, and the events that occurred after the death of the Olympic flame. I am not going to go into any details, but I will say that the film does a great job of capturing the moments of shock, confusion, and excitement that the world saw that day. The film does not attempt to be a documentary, but to just tell the story of the event and the people that were there. The documentary style was done very well, and it really helped bring the events to life. I do believe that the film was a little misleading at times, but I will let you decide for yourself. I thought that the acting was very well done, and the interviews with the people who were there were very well done. I think that the film is very well done, and I highly recommend it.
I'm not sure if this was intended to be a documentary about the 'Russian Five' or a collection of clips from the first two movies, but it is quite interesting. As for the clips, they range from the stupid (a bus driver watching the 'Russian Five' try to walk on the left side of the road and the bus driver trying to follow the Russian Five) to the somewhat intriguing (a man looking at a naked woman in a bar, the Russian Five on a train, a woman on a bus with a man, a woman on a train with a man, a man on a bus with a man, etc.). If you're a fan of the first two, this is a great place to start, if you're not, it's a great place to start. There are some great interviews with the actors, but that's about it. The only part of the documentary that I didn't like was the running commentary from the director of the first movie. I really wish that the director had had more input into the first two movies. It's not like he was the only one that knew what he was doing, but I don't think that the movie was perfect. I think that the first movie was better, but not perfect, and the second movie was good. It's a shame that they didn't have the opportunity to make the third movie, because I think that it would have been great. The first two movies are just not as good as the third movie, and I think that the third movie would have been great. I think that the third movie would have been a perfect follow up to the first two movies. It would have been a perfect time for the Russians to step up to the plate and be the best of the best.
This is not a film I enjoyed and could not finish. It was so slow and not very funny. My wife said it was a waste of time. I can understand that it was not her preference but I do not think it was a waste of time for anyone else.
As a kid I loved to watch this film and I'm glad I saw it again. The music and the way the movie was shot was very well done. The acting is good, and the story is interesting. I really liked the idea of the movie. I wish it would have had more of the world and more of the relationship between the Russian team and the Americans. But, that's the whole point. The film is worth seeing, and it is worth the money you spend to see it.
While I did not see the original, I still enjoyed this movie. While there were many moments that made me cringe, the other parts, such as the people who put together the rules for the finals, I think it was a pretty good effort. The scenes where the athletes were making a team out of random people, the mistakes they made, the trust that they broke, and the camaraderie that they developed, I really enjoyed it. While there are times when you could feel the tension build up, the best part was watching them actually learn from their mistakes, and that's the part that really gets me. I think this movie would be great for high school or college football fans. I would recommend it to anyone.
Not as good as some of the earlier movies of the series but this is still a very good documentary on the Russia and the sport of boxing. The documentary was narrated by Mike Tyson, who gives an interesting insight into his life and the path he took to become a professional boxer. His style of talking is somewhat stilted, but the only real problem is that he isn't very good at conveying his point of view. He speaks at a very stilted manner, which is very noticeable in the interviews, which is a major reason why the film didn't get a higher rating from me. Tyson also talks about the difficulties of the sport, the rules, and how many Russian boxers are still unknown to the American public. I would also recommend that the documentary is watched in Russian, as it makes it even more interesting. The way the documentary is narrated is the best part of the documentary. It is clear that it was a difficult job to translate the interviews, and the Russian voices aren't very well translated. But it is still a very good documentary, and I would definitely recommend it.
I'm sorry, but I can't help but wonder if the creators of the Russian Five were part of the Russian Mafia themselves. It was as if they had done this documentary for fun and money, not for the benefit of the subjects, who are guilty of nothing more than being themselves. In the beginning of the documentary, they state the topic is "the Russian mafia and the story of the Russian five", then in the next sentence they tell us that they didn't know the name of the real five men until after the movie was finished, when the movie was shown in the theater. Then they tell us that they were not involved in the real life of the Russian mafia, and that is why they didn't know who the real five were. It's like the guy in the airport said, "Yeah, I was there, I know that guy". They gave us a totally different story from the one we heard in the beginning of the movie, and then they told us that they had never been in the mafia and that they were so shocked to know that the real five were real, that they refused to speak about it with their friends and family. Well, that is how we have to see it. The fact that they chose not to tell the truth, and that they refused to talk about their real life is a huge mistake. As I said, I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but think that the creators of the Russian Five were part of the Russian Mafia themselves, because I was very uncomfortable watching this documentary. I hope they won't make another one like this one.
I recently had the pleasure of viewing a documentary titled "The Russian Five", directed by Ron Howard, which was broadcast on HBO in early May of 2010. The film is the latest installment of the "The Russian Five" series, which first aired in 2001. This is the story of five athletes who were trying to defend the World Championships title at the 1996 Olympics. The five athletes are Roman Miroshnichenko (the current heavyweight champion), Alexander Chistov (former heavyweight champion and Olympic silver medalist), Arshavin, Roman Chagov, and Mikhail Karyakin. The film is really good, and is a good follow-up to the earlier film "The Russian Five". The film begins with the history of the sport of wrestling. There is an interesting history lesson in the film, that also brings up the controversy of Soviet rule and that of the Russian influence in the sport. The documentary then goes into the story of the athletes, the doping scandal, and the results of the trial and the verdict. It is a very good documentary, and if you have not seen the first film, I recommend this one, because it is very informative and makes a good follow-up. I highly recommend this film.
I've never seen the movie, but I have to admit it was a little more entertaining than the TV show, but the "reality" in the movie is not much different than the TV show. Of course, there are some good points about the movie. I liked the final match between Demers and McCollum. I liked the coaches and teammates. But they seemed to be given a lot of leeway, which is somewhat irritating. But I can't help but think the movie would have been better if they'd had more realistic roles for the athletes, and more realistic roles for the coaches. There were just too many coaches. The movie could have been much more realistic if they'd edited out the coaches, or if they'd had them talk more about the athletes. I liked watching the filming of the game between the US and Canada. I wish there was more of that. Overall, the movie was entertaining, but it could have been better if they'd edited out the coaches. The movie was very well done, but it was lacking in realism.
This is an exciting documentary that will surely please anyone who is a fan of the game of football. It was made by the creators of the World Cup. It's the story of a group of Russian boys who were casted in the World Cup. The World Cup is the best team in the world. The Russians were being completely overlooked by the international press. This documentary features the famous interviews of the World Cup. There are many interesting facts that are not well known. The movie has a lot of action and the emotions are very strong. The World Cup is an epic game of football. It's an American dream.
For most of the film, I found myself waiting for the credits to roll, then to the next story. The acting is fine, but you can tell that this film was written by someone who didn't get to enjoy the sport as much as I did. For example, when one of the main characters starts to tell us how he met his wife, you can see him taking a little breath before saying something. Then, after the film is over, he immediately goes back to the same story, which shows how the person we are seeing was a complete jerk. I understand that this is a documentary and the director had to get the facts right, but it's like the guy had no idea how to get a story out of the sport. When the film ended, I was just disappointed that he didn't get to tell the story about his wife. At the very least, he should have told us about how they met. It's like he's trying to make a documentary that was too slow. It just seems like he was trying to get the facts right. The guy should have just put a little more effort into it, and put some passion into it. It's not like he couldn't get the story out of the sport, it's just that he didn't have the passion or the effort to get it out. I thought that the documentary was great, and it was the only thing that kept me interested in the film. If I hadn't seen the documentary, I probably would have just sat through the rest of it, but then I would have missed the stories that the documentary covered.
The Russians Five is a wonderful, inspiring, and informative documentary about the World Cup. The film includes a fantastic story of how the Russian men's football team from the 1970's took part in the World Cup, and the lives and achievements of the players, coaches, and the manager, all of whom were absolutely amazing. The film also gives a great insight into the life of the legendary Russian goalkeeper, Igor Akinfeev, and his role in the team's rise to glory. The film is a great documentary that deserves a great amount of respect.
I was fortunate enough to attend a screening of "Russian Five" on March 5th, 2014 at the 2009 Montreal Film Festival. This documentary about the five Russian athletes who competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics was extremely interesting and informative. It was more then just a simple look at the athletes, but was much more. There was much to talk about, and it was a good one. The documentary was also really entertaining, with lots of great footage of the athletes competing in the games. The editing was great, and it was always interesting to hear what the filmmakers had to say about each of the athletes. If you liked the "American dream" or "Barack Obama" movies, you will definitely love this film. If you were looking for a documentary that focused on the Olympic experience and the athletes, this is a great one.
I remember watching this documentary on the Discovery Channel about 5 years ago. It made me appreciate the work of the great human beings like the Russian athletes and the great figure skaters of the 70s and 80s. It gave me a better understanding of the hardships they had to go through and it made me appreciate what they did. I can only imagine what they were going through when they were competing. I was also impressed with the amount of support and money they had to put into their careers and the sacrifices they had to make to make the best of it. I can't say enough about the positive impact this documentary made on me. It is the type of documentary I will watch over and over and I think the others should as well.
Robby Erickson's account of the 1976 Olympic swimming gold medal competition is somewhat like a home movie. There's plenty of stuff that's embarrassing and dumb about the first relay. The second relay is a group of medalists who find each other while their nations are competing. One of the medalists is a member of the U.S. team, a guy named Billie Jean King. The Russians, led by Olga Gordishvili, the Russian Olympic team coach, are playing for gold in their own game. They're trying to reach the 100-meter freestyle, the final event of the 100-meter freestyle relay. The United States tries to outwit them. It's not the best of sports-watching but it's also not the worst. It's a good look at a classic sport, the Olympics. I enjoyed it.
This is an amazing film about one of the most important athletes of all time. The Russians played with their hearts and souls, and made the world proud. One of the best sports films I've ever seen. One of the best documentaries of all time. This is a must see.
This documentary was a revelation for me. First of all, I'd never heard of the Russian Five, and was unaware that they had their own tournament, but that didn't matter. I wanted to see how it all played out. It was very interesting. I especially enjoyed seeing how they trained for the Russian Five. It was fascinating to see how they practiced and went through the warm-up, the warm-down, the different types of drills. I also liked how the team members' mothers and fathers were interviewed, and it was great to see their thoughts on the situation. I also enjoyed the perspective of a Russian chess coach, who also plays chess, who gives a really good perspective on what it's like to play in the sport. I really hope there is a sequel to this documentary. I think that it would be really interesting to see how these four are doing now, and how their lives have changed. I think it would be interesting to see what they do now. I really enjoyed the interviewees, and they all seem to be very honest. They also are very supportive and nice to each other, which is rare in sports, where you might have people like that who are very self-centered. I think this documentary would be very interesting for people to see. I highly recommend it. I was really impressed with how they filmed the interviews and what they did with the footage. It really was great to see how they did the interviews and what they were talking about.
I just wanted to say that this film was extremely powerful. It was amazing. I have watched this film a couple of times, and I have to say that it's always the same. You can feel the energy and the love that is being channeled through the film. I think that it's really worth watching it a couple of times. It's an incredible film that really has a powerful message. It's just a shame that it's so hard to find. I wish that it would be more widely available. I think that it's worth watching and I hope that it'll be shown in more schools and I hope that it will be shown on TV in the future. I don't think that it's a waste of time to watch it. I think that it's very important and very powerful.
This is the story of the Russian Five, an elite basketball team from the Soviet Union during the Cold War. It's a fascinating look at a bunch of guys that actually were good, but who were better than the other team members. It's interesting because they are a lot like guys like you and me. When you think you have it figured out, you have to go back and get it right the second time. There were many stories about what the Russians did that we didn't know about. There were guys that were forced to train with their legs tied up, guys that had to do a lot of walking, and guys that had to make a lot of adjustments. All of the guys were talking about the transition they had to make from the Soviet Union to the United States. If you've ever lived in the Soviet Union, you know how hard it was to do something you couldn't do as well in the United States. This was a very interesting and interesting look at a group of guys that were about to get drafted by the NBA. It's a really great movie. You can tell the guys were really passionate about the film and the project. They didn't want it to be a movie about basketball. It was a documentary about the men who were going to be drafted, and the men that weren't going to be drafted. It was a great story about the men that were drafted, and it's also a great story about the men who weren't drafted.
The story is about the famous Russian Five, a team of Soviet athletes who made their way to the Olympics in the late 70's. The team won the gold medal in 1976, but it's also the story of how these five guys were treated, and their families and society reacted to them. The movie is really interesting, and the documentary style makes it interesting and gives the viewer a good view of the Soviet Union, and of life in the country at that time. The acting is pretty good, and the story is interesting and a good story. It's a shame that the movie is not in English, and I wish that the movie was. It's worth watching.
This is a must see documentary. Great stories, very interesting. Although the films were shot in Russia and we know very little about Russian police and police corruption, this film doesn't ignore the subject and focuses on the action of the players. I personally think it is the best documentary ever made on the world of football. Highly recommended.
As a fan of all things Russian, I have always had a thing for the documentaries of the Soviet Union. This documentary takes us into the mind of the Soviet team. The Soviets were, as most other countries were, a brutal and brutalizing regime. They tortured people, they killed people, they did whatever they wanted to do. But they did it. They had to, to survive. This documentary, though, was very touching, and very interesting. We learn a lot about the mindset of the Soviet team, and what makes them tick. It's not really the war or the doping, but the culture. This is very interesting stuff, and it's definitely worth watching. The film does a great job of showing the Soviet mentality, and how they thought about everything, and how they saw the world. It's very fascinating. I would highly recommend it, if you have the opportunity.
This documentary is a celebration of the greatest game of all time, the World Series. It is a celebration of a great team, and a great team, with an amazing story. It is a celebration of great baseball and the greatest game of all time, the World Series. I was very impressed with the photography, as it showed the stunning views of the game, the players and the ball fields. The music was also great, and it complemented the movie very well. The only negative thing about the movie is the main character who was very negative. I was so disappointed that I wasn't really interested in what he was doing, and the movie wasn't really moving, if you are an baseball fan you might like it, if you are not an baseball fan it won't be a good movie. Overall, I highly recommend this movie, and I am so happy that I had the chance to see it.
The documentary is very good. It has a very strong focus on the players and a very clear and succinct narrative. There is no mention of any of the athletes' careers, they are all just "Russian Five". This documentary is about the "Cadet" but it doesn't really tell you how he became a professional. It tells you that he has been playing chess for about 20 years, but he never has a serious match. This is a very strong point. If you want to learn more about this topic, read the book by the Russian players, which I recommend for that purpose. The book is a great starting point for the documentary. This documentary is also very well-made and very well-edited. It really doesn't feel like a documentary. It's a very effective documentary that helps you to learn more about this topic.
The three main characters are played by Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon and James Woods. They are the three real life athletes in this film, competing for the United States Olympic team. We see the training they do and see the sacrifices they have to make in order to win the gold medal. It's the type of documentary that you watch over and over again because it's so well made. The filming is truly incredible. I found it so moving that I had to see it at least twice in order to process the emotions and focus on the positives of the film. The athletes are a testament to the sacrifices they make and the sacrifices they make for the good of the country. They are the best examples of what it means to be an American, not just in sports but in every aspect of life. I would highly recommend this documentary to anyone.
There are a lot of misconceptions about the Russian 5, but this film is about the team. I am more interested in the journey than the result. The documentary should be about the team, not the individual. I am glad to see that this film is the first of a trilogy on the Russian 5, that I hope will bring many more people to see the true story. I look forward to watching the other two documentaries.
I watched this movie at a film festival in LA. I was skeptical at first because I had not heard anything about it and because the title sounded a little strange to me. I had been told it was "horror" but I found it to be a surprisingly good movie. It was very well done and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It was well made and I was glad that the story did not go too far into the psychology of the players. I also thought it was well done. It was really a shame that this movie had not been released in the U.S. I hope that this movie will make it to the big screen and that it will be shown to the general public. It is a great movie that I would recommend to anyone who has an interest in psychology and the psychology of athletes.
I just watched this movie on a plane flight. I had no idea what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was an amazing movie. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes to watch a documentary on the Olympics. It is very well done. The director was able to show the athletes and the officials all the time and get a very good idea of what they are doing. I was impressed by the fact that they were all so honest. I think that the movie was great and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the Olympics. It is a very good movie.
I am not a fan of cricket. But this documentary made me want to watch it again. It was well put together, and I am really happy that I got to see this documentary. I think it is a good thing to watch documentaries about the events that have occurred in the world. I was very impressed with the documentary. I was also impressed with the performances by all the actors. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who has never watched a cricket documentary before. I would also recommend it to those who do not like cricket. I would rate it 10/10.
Russians' own performance in the Olympics of 2008 is a part of the same kind of event that became so famous, the American performance in 1984. The Russians have performed better than Americans. They can talk and act like real Russians. They were better equipped and better trained than the Americans. I enjoyed the documentary and I would love to see the Russians perform at the Olympics in 2008. I hope it will be better than the America performance in 1984. And I hope the Russian federation will make an effort to represent the country at the Olympics in 2008.
This is a well done documentary about the famous Russian team that won the World Championships in 1972. It covers the entire team's life from its beginning in the 1930s to the current day. The documentary is filled with interviews with the players and coaches of the team, as well as a lot of other interesting information about the team and the world championship. The documentary also has a lot of footage of the actual team's competition from the 1972 Summer Olympics. This documentary is a great example of the kind of documentary you would expect to see if you had seen the film "The Russians" (2005). This is a must see for any fan of the sport.
I was fortunate enough to watch this documentary on Russian basketball at the 2011 Chicago Film Festival. The documentary covers the history of Russian basketball and their growth into the World Champions, the rise of the Soviet Union, and the rivalry between Russia and the USA. It is a great insight into a sport that is less known outside of Russia and is highly regarded by the average American. The documentary is great for all levels of fans of the game, it's interesting to see the various coaches, players, and historical figures. It is also a great way to get a feel for the sport and understand it's history. The documentary is edited very well and moves quickly from one moment to the next. There are some great interviews with some of the great players in the sport and the history behind the sport. The documentary is short, but it is good to see the rise of Russian basketball and how it has grown into the World Champions. There is a lot of great interviews with the players and coaches, including the legendary Russian coach, Zinoviev. The documentary is a great look at a sport that is now part of the culture and history of the world. If you are a fan of the game of basketball, this is a great documentary to see. I would recommend this documentary to anyone who loves the game.
I read the book years ago and really enjoyed it. I was hoping that it would be released in the States but was very disappointed. It should have been released. The movie was very disappointing. There is no action in the movie. The narration was pretty good but was not enough. I read the book a few years ago and loved it. I thought it was a great story. It was supposed to be a great film. I thought the film would be a lot better than it was. I would like to see the movie again. I don't know how much money the producers were able to raise but the movie should have been released in the US. I can't wait until the DVD comes out.
I found this movie to be very informative and informative. I have been a big fan of Russian hockey for many years and have always been fascinated with the game. It is very hard to find out about the players and the history behind the game. This movie is a must see. It tells the story of the Russians and the players in their glory days. It tells about how the Russians beat the Americans and how they went on to win the World Cup in 1980. It also tells about the history behind the game and how the Americans were able to get a team together to defeat the Russians in the 1980 Olympics. The movie also tells the history of the team, how they were formed, how they were all kicked out of the Soviet Union, how the Americans were able to get together and beat the Soviets, and how the team was able to win the world hockey championship. It also tells how the American team got together and beat the Soviets. This movie is extremely well made. I highly recommend it.
In 1998, a tennis player named Maria Sharapova became a national champion. Sharapova had a checkered history with the Russian federation. She was a victim of domestic violence, and the Russian tennis authorities confiscated the talent that she had in the Soviet Union. Sharapova made an attempt to avoid deportation to Siberia by playing in the 1996 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California. Sharapova was a favorite of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Putin personally praised Sharapova's performance. At the 1996 Olympic Games, Sharapova suffered an injury, and she was suspended from the Olympic program for three years. She was forced to travel to California for treatment, but returned to play in the 1998 World Cup. Her recovery was remarkable, as she became a top-10 tennis player in the world. Sharapova received a break in the Russian federation, but she was returned to her home country. Sharapova continued to play in the 1997 and 1998 seasons. In 1999, Sharapova and three of her teammates were arrested in a high-profile investigation. They were charged with corruption. The Russian authorities seized the coach's record books, and took Sharapova and two others to Siberia. She was accused of taking $4.8 million from her sponsors, and she spent one month in solitary confinement in the Siberian city of Khabarovsk. Despite the charges, Sharapova continued to play in the 1998 and 1999 seasons. In 2001, Sharapova returned to the U.S. to play in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. Sharapova had a difficult time adjusting to life in America. Sharapova was given a drug test for a banned substance in the U.S., and the test result indicated that she had been taking the drug for the last 12 years. The results were considered a red flag that would affect her future participation in the Olympics. Sharapova's agent, Charles Powell, tried to reach out to Sharapova, but was unsuccessful. Sharapova was forced to forfeit her title in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece, because the results of the doping test were a secret. After the 2004 Olympics, Sharapova was held in solitary confinement in the Siberian city of Khabarovsk. She was forced to give up all of her rights as a citizen of Russia. In 2005, Sharapova was given another opportunity to return to the Olympic Games in Beijing, China, but she chose to retire. After she announced her retirement, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that she would not be allowed to play in the 2005 Winter Olympics in Moscow, Russia. The Russian authorities said that Sharapova would have to leave the country and re-enter Russia for re-testing. Sharapova appealed to the Russian court system, but her appeal was denied by the court. In 2006, Sharapova was arrested in France for not paying the $500,000 fine levied by the French authorities for her role in the doping scandal. She was released on bail, but she failed to pay the fine. The Russian authorities released her
I saw this movie when I was a teenager and was not the biggest hockey fan at the time, but I have seen it again many times since and I still love it. The film is a wonderful story of a small town in Michigan that was affected by the Soviet invasion. The film is beautifully shot, the music is great and the acting is great. The music was actually really good and the movie was filmed very well. The film has a great message about the war and what it did to the country and the people who were affected by it. The movie is a must see for all hockey fans. I am a hockey fan and I love this film. I think it is a great film that should be seen by all hockey fans. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is interested in the war in the Soviet Union and the people who were affected by it. The movie has a great message, it is a must see. 10/10
I am not a boxing fan. I am an avid follower of both the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and the International Boxing Organization (IBO) and have studied both of their methods of delivering fights. I have also been a boxing fan since I was 10 years old. I was not familiar with any of the current crop of boxers or even their predecessors and their methods of delivery. The Russian Five are a very good group of boxers and their deliveries are a bit different from what we are accustomed to. For example, in the boxing of the past they were very orthodox and when they came into a fight they used a lot of leg kicks and punches. The Russian Five are all very good fighters and their delivery is good, but I am sure that this is due to the fact that they have trained with what they are accustomed to. I will give you an example of this. When they are in the ring they do not use hand boxing and when they are on the ropes they use a lot of leg kicks. When they are going to the ropes and the bell sounds they continue to kick and punch, even though the bell is ringing. When they are on the ropes and the bell sounds they continue to kick and punch until the bell sounds again. In my opinion, this is a very good delivery and I am sure that you will enjoy this movie and see this type of delivery more than what we are used to. All of the performances were good and there is nothing bad about the performances. There were a couple of good performances in the first half but then the last half of the movie is where the movie really shines. The last half of the movie is all about the delivery of the fights and this is where I think the movie excels. I think that the Russian Five delivered great boxing and this is what really made this movie an excellent movie. If you are a boxing fan or even if you are not, you should see this movie.
I don't think I've ever been so moved by a documentary as I was by this film. The film is about a group of Russian men, who go to Cuba to play baseball. The film is not about baseball, it is about life and the struggle to make it in Cuba. I would give this film a 10, but I feel that the title "The Russian Five" is misleading. The Russians aren't really "Russian" but a group of Russian expats who are in Cuba to make it in baseball. The film is great because it is very well shot, it has great music, and it shows the real side of Cuba and the struggle that the Russians go through to make it in the country. The music is excellent. I would recommend this film to anyone who wants to know what it's like to be in Cuba, to understand what life is like, or just to understand what it's like to play baseball. You will be amazed by the struggle of the Russian men. The film is very moving, but not in a "happy" way. It's a painful documentary about life in Cuba, and I'm sure you will be moved.
This documentary was very well done. Although I do not like many of the athletes, I found that all of them did a good job. However, the music that was used in the documentary was a bit annoying. The best part of the documentary was the interviews with the athletes, and how they described their training. In my opinion, the best part of the documentary was the interview with the coach of the Russian team, who was very convincing and had great answers to all the questions. The documentary was well done, and I would recommend it to all those who want to see the best and the worst of American and Russian track and field.
The Russian Five is a documentary about the legendary Russian team that defeated the USA in the 1968 Olympics. It is a pretty decent documentary and a great addition to the Olympics history. It's a great documentary and I would recommend it to any Olympics fan. The only thing I would change about this documentary is that I would have liked to see more footage of the athletes and the coaching staff. But that is really minor. I also think the director did a great job of telling the story of the famous Russian team that beat the USA in 1968. The documentary is pretty well done and I think you will enjoy it. I give this documentary an 8/10.
It is so sad that this documentary was not made in the USA. This is not a sports movie. This is a film about people. It is not about the sport, it is about the people. The documentary is very interesting, and the interviews are very good. The voice-over, with the President and other leaders of the country, are very good. And this documentary should be released in the USA. There are a lot of people that are not aware of the history of the country. And the historical events that are shown in this film are very important. I hope that this documentary is made in the USA.
The Russian Five: The Investigation of the Kontroll in the 1984 Olympics (Or How I Became the World's Fastest Man) by Charles C. Mann is a very interesting film. It is not necessarily a documentary, but more of a "what if" investigation into a well known story. Charles Mann does a good job with the interviews, and he never lets us down with his answers. The documentary style of the film is a bit distracting at times, but it doesn't hurt the film. Charles C. Mann's direction is very smooth, and he doesn't skimp on the action. The editing is very effective and does a good job at creating a sense of suspense. The production value is very impressive, and it is nice to see that a documentary film about a story like the Kontroll is shot in a professional manner. Charles C. Mann doesn't show off the film-making chops that he has shown in the past, but he definitely does his job well. I recommend this film to anyone who enjoys documentaries about sports. It is not a deep film, and it is not "inspirational", but it is interesting and entertaining. For anyone who has ever been curious about the Kontroll, Charles C. Mann's investigation into it will make you want to check it out. I give this film a 9/10.
I don't know how to explain this film. It's a very well made film. It is so well made that I was watching it for a while before I actually decided to watch it. I was drawn in immediately and I don't think I would have done it without it. I found this movie a very realistic depiction of what the Soviet Union was like. It shows how it was different from the American and British movies that I have seen. It also shows how it would have been different, and in many ways it shows how the Soviet Union was going to be, but also how it would have been better. This movie is just very well made, and I think that a lot of people won't realize it until they see it. If you want to see a good movie about the Soviet Union, I highly recommend "The Russian Five".
This is a well-produced, well-done documentary about the events that transpired on September 11, 2001. It is quite a shame that it has been less than a year since the attacks. There is a lot of information about the events that occurred in New York City, as well as the people involved in the event, and it is quite entertaining. It is worth seeing and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in the events that occurred on September 11, 2001.
I thought this movie was an excellent depiction of what the players went through in the locker room. I was in the same situation. I had to watch the tape of the players at the end of the season and the locker room was a mess. The atmosphere was unbelievable. The locker room was like a prison for the players. It was hard to get out and I was fortunate enough to have some of the players who were in the locker room. It was tough to watch. You can see how they try to get out of it and do what they have to do to get back on the court. I think the movie is very realistic and gives you a real feel for what the players went through in the locker room. The players who were not in the locker room didn't even know what was going on. The fans that were there were very supportive. I think it was a great movie.
There is nothing wrong with an honest documentary. It's good for making the viewer think. I do admit that the material is accurate, but there is a much more interesting movie that took the time to develop the subject matter and the people involved.
I am a wrestling fan, and I would have liked to have seen more of the competition. One of the things that stuck out to me about the film is how many of the stars were sporting recent WWE-style gear, as well as the outfits worn by the younger wrestlers. The ending of the film also seemed to contradict a part of the film's message, as it was the older wrestlers who had won the titles in the first place, and they should have kept their titles. It seemed like WWE should have said, "Thanks for fighting for our brand of wrestling, and for coming to be an integral part of WWE, and we are happy to have you."
This movie is a must-see for anyone interested in the sport of cycling. I don't want to give away too much of the story, but it's great to see how this sport is so different from what most of us know. If you have never heard of the sport, I think you'll love it. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll be inspired. This is a movie about a sport that has not been shown in many movies, and one that has not been shown in any way. I hope this movie gets the attention it deserves.
I saw this film at the Santa Monica Film Festival. I had heard that the cast was pretty big and very well known, and this was one of those films that I just had to see. I have never been a big fan of the actors, but this is one of the few films that I have seen that they have played characters that are very well known and extremely talented. The first thing I thought of when I heard this was that I was expecting to see a cheesy and pointless film. The truth is that the film is pretty entertaining, and the cast really has a lot to say about the real-life and modern events that occurred in Russia during the time period of the film. There are a few political messages that the film has to convey, but most of it is for entertainment. This is not a film that I would recommend to the serious film-buff, but it is a very enjoyable film for the general public. The actors are very good at expressing their feelings about what happened in the Soviet Union. I recommend this film to everyone.
Before the opening credits of this film, we are treated to a montage of footage. In this montage we see a lot of runners and sled dogs at the Winter Olympics. Of course we see a lot of people getting injured, and a lot of people being injured. All of this is in the first thirty minutes of this documentary. In this time we also see interviews with people who have lost loved ones in accidents, people who have broken bones, people who have been injured because they were thrown by a sled dog, people who have been injured because they were trying to make a funny face, people who have broken ribs, and a lot more. You will find yourself laughing at some of these people, and you will also be amazed at the stupidity of people who are trying to break the record for the longest distance run ever, by beating the previous record set by a man who lost his leg in an accident. Although these people may have suffered some serious injuries, they still want to make a funny face when they are running. I'm not sure how it is possible to win the Olympic medal medal for the longest distance run, and I'm sure this man has made a very foolish attempt to break the record, but we are not told. All we know is that he lost his leg, and was pretty upset. However, it's not the most interesting part of the film, and he can't get away from it, so he tries to break the record again. I don't think it's fair to the runners who had been injured, to make them make a fool of themselves, or to make them think they can break the record. It seems to me that if the guy had been given a couple of weeks to recover, he could have at least made a joke face. It would be like telling a car-crash victim to come back to the scene of the accident, and then they should all go home. It seems like the runners are making a lot of stupid attempts, but we don't know what they were doing. It's not until a year later that we learn that they were trying to break the world record by running over two miles in two hours. It seems to me that this man is making a lot of stupid attempts, but we don't know what he was doing. This is a very interesting documentary, but it's very difficult to understand what is going on, and some of the things are just unbelievable.
This is a pretty good documentary on the 1980 world cup. I didn't know much about the tournament prior to seeing it, but it's good to know. It's the story of how the game of soccer was brought to the US, and how the US was the new country. It's a little bit too slow for me, but it's interesting. I found it very interesting. I'm not sure if the report card should be 10/10, but it's worth seeing.
It was an amazing documentary. I enjoyed the fact that the documentary was shot in a way that kept you interested. The interviews with the athletes were also very informative. I would recommend it to any one who is interested in sports or any other aspect of life.
This movie was pretty well made. It's pretty easy to see why this movie was produced. It was based on the story of Russian immigrant, and basketball player, Yuriorkis Gamze, who was a member of the Soviet team that won the gold medal in the Olympics in 1960. The movie was based on his account of his time in the Soviet Union. The movie was informative, and had some interesting footage. It was interesting to see how Russian players felt about the new Soviet system. The American players were not nearly as happy with it as the Russians were. The American players thought that the Soviet system was the best system in the world. The Soviet Union had the greatest basketball team in the world. The Soviet team didn't win a gold medal, but they did win the most gold medals in the history of the Olympics. The American team was very proud of their new system. The American players were very proud of their new system, and they said that the Soviet system was the best system in the world. I thought that the movie was very well done. I liked it. The movie was well done. I give it a 9 out of 10.
I am not a boxing fan, but this documentary did a fantastic job of highlighting the positives and negatives of the sport. It's a shame that a lot of the negative comments I read were from the fans who just didn't get the point of the documentary. I found the documentary to be well worth my time. I highly recommend this documentary.
I've watched this movie several times and every time I get a little more into it. I enjoyed the movie, but I am disappointed that the movie didn't focus on the other Russians that worked on the mission. I also didn't find the commentary on the movie to be very interesting. It seemed more like the Russians were commenting on their own experiences than the mission itself. It also seemed like they were writing a fictional story instead of trying to explain how they felt about what happened. The film did a good job of showing what it was like to be a Russian during the Cold War, but I thought that the commentary on the movie was a little out of place and felt a little unnecessary.
A short documentary about the 1976 Moscow Olympics. It is a bit slow but I thought it was interesting and worth watching. It's based on the book "The Russian Five: The Story of the Soviet Union's First Men's Olympic Wrestling Team" by Jerry Lydon. It also has interviews with some of the original athletes and coaches. It also has a look at the state of Russian wrestling, the state of the sport at the time, and the players and coaches that were involved in the 1976 Olympics. It's definitely worth watching. It's certainly worth the time. It's not the best documentary out there but it's certainly a good one. 8/10
I've always loved this film, but I had never known the full story until recently. The film is based on the true story of the infamous "Russian Five" who are still living in Russia. This film is a must see for anyone who is interested in American sports. The fact that it's based on a true story and is a true story that actually happened is what makes this film so fascinating. I highly recommend this film for anyone who loves American sports. The documentary is an amazing and fascinating look at the history of American sports.
I was very disappointed in the film. I was expecting a lot more from this documentary. I think that the documentary was very boring. It was like watching a documentary on a tennis match. I would have rather watched a documentary on how to make a good spaghetti sauce.
This is an interesting and informative film. It's more of an opinion piece than anything else, so I won't go into detail about it, but if you like documentaries, or you're just in the mood for a good, entertaining, and sometimes, thoughtful film, then give this one a chance.
This is the best looking football documentary I have ever seen. It's not very well done, and the editing is a little uneven. But the performances are outstanding. Every player looks as if they are having a ball or a ball and a half. The documentary does a great job of showing the league, the whole history of football in the USSR, and how the game was perceived in the 1970s and 80s, and what has happened since. It's not perfect, but it is the best documentary I have seen on this subject. I recommend it highly.
This is a good documentary film. Unfortunately, it is also a little short. It also feels like a condensed "look at all the dead guys in the pool" film. I love it when they show guys getting doused in the pool by a dozen people. The film looks at the sport and culture of mixed martial arts and it's state of development. The documentary doesn't feel like a full film, it feels like a short, condensed look at one sport. It is an entertaining look at mixed martial arts. It shows how much we, as a country, don't know about the sport. We should start with the fact that this is a sport that is understudied. The documentary is also about the sport and the people who train it. It is about the people who are trying to be the best in it. The documentary is worth a look for people who are interested in mixed martial arts. However, it is a little short.
I was lucky enough to see this film in March and it was fantastic! The film is well directed, written, and produced. I thought that it was the most honest film I have ever seen about doping in cycling. The film is not about doping, it is about the real life stories of the people who are involved in the sport. This is the film that made me realize the sport in a whole new way. I am not a big cyclist but I found myself drawn to this film. I am very glad that I watched it. I will buy the DVD when it comes out. This is a must see film. I give it a rating of 7 out of 10.
The Russian Five: The Untold Story is a fascinating documentary, a must see for anyone who cares about the truth. I saw the film with a great group of friends, and we all left the theater feeling like we had been robbed of the information we needed to make an informed decision about this story. I can't stress enough how much this film is a must see. The story of the Russian Five is about the 1972 Olympic gold medal team. The film is all about the players, their lives, and their memories. It is a story about a team, a story about a country, and a story about a sport. The film has been written by journalist Michael Beschloss, and he has done an amazing job. He has captured the essence of the story without over-simplifying the facts, and he has made sure that the film is 100% factual. The film is based on the memoirs of the team, and their memories of the Olympics. It is not an easy film to watch, because it is not a documentary, and it is not meant to be. It is a story about a sport, and about a group of people, who had a dream, and had a chance to go to the Olympics. The documentary is a must see for any sports fan, and anyone who cares about the truth.
This film is very good. It really is. It's based on a true story and it shows the reality of the Russian baseball team that was thrown into a legal battle over the use of steroids. The film is about the rise and fall of the team from the time it was formed until the team was thrown into the court. There is a lot of good information in this film. I recommend it for anyone interested in sports.
To be honest, I was expecting a bit more from the film, it seemed that the producers had decided to make the film as they wanted it to be, so to speak. I would have thought that by now, there would be more interesting and memorable moments to be had, but no. The only memorable one was about the Russian Five in the back of a car, with the car being the only moving vehicle, but I could not remember anything else. I thought the rest of the film was quite boring, except for a bit of footage of the Russian Five with their team, but apart from that, I felt the film was dull and I really wished I had turned it off, it seemed to be going nowhere and I couldn't wait for it to end. So, I gave it a 9 out of 10.
This movie is a must see. I would say that the most important part of the movie is the interviews with the players. The former players talk about the history of the game, the future of the game and the current situation in the Russian Federation. The interview with the former coach of the Soviet Union team "Ales" (a team with the same name as the Russian Five) is a must see. It is very interesting to hear from him the "inside story" of the Soviet Union team. The other interviews with other former players are also interesting. This is a must see. I think it is a must see for everyone who is interested in sports or any other sports. This is a must see for people who are interested in the history of sports.
After having watched all the "Russian Five" films, I felt the need to watch them again. First I watched the "Hooligans" (which was fine), then I watched "Russian Five" (which was good), and then I watched "Russian Five" (which was good, but not quite as good as the other three). I will say that the "Russian Five" is the most entertaining, most interesting, most exciting film I've ever seen. It's a great story, which keeps you on the edge of your seat, and it's the perfect way to end this summer. The camera-work is excellent, and the editing is awesome. I would recommend this film to anyone who wants to see a good story, a good film, and who's a fan of great acting. It's a must-see.
I was surprised to see how much I liked this movie. I found it to be a great story about the American Dream and the meaning of life. The acting is very good, the editing is very good, and the overall presentation is very good. This is definitely one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. It really is a must see. I give it a 9 out of 10.
This movie is truly awesome. It's a must watch for everyone. If you're not a big fan of boxing, then don't even bother watching this movie. I don't think any boxing fan can sit through this film. It's just too hard to watch, and the bad language is not funny at all. But if you're a boxing fan, then I think you'll enjoy this movie.
This documentary is very very good. It tells the story of a few men who broke a huge game of Russian roulette, and were then executed in the infamous Gulag. However, this story of the group is not all that is told here, and even some of the individuals involved in the case are not spoken of. This is a great shame, because this movie would have been a great addition to the Russian roulette archives. It tells the story in a great way, and the images are incredible. This is one of the best documentaries I've ever seen, and if you're a Russian roulette enthusiast, this one is certainly worth checking out.
I am a die-hard hockey fan and I have to say that the way they filmed this film was pretty impressive. They captured the entire game, the excitement, the emotions, the passion, the humor, the emotion, the suspense, the tension, and everything else that makes the game great. The fact that this was not a documentary was the only problem. The film is packed with information about the sport, which is a must-see for anyone who is a fan of the sport. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a love of hockey, hockey fans, or even just people who want to know more about the sport.
I saw this film at the Toronto Film Festival and I was moved to tears by the film. The film shows how these athletes are changing the lives of the community. The athletes are people that you would not think would play sports but they have made a difference in their community. If you are a football fan, then you will love this film because it does not hold back and does show the hard work that these athletes have put into their sport and how hard they have worked for their career. The film shows the athletes as people, not as players, so you can easily relate to their journey and the positive effect their sport has on their community. The film is a must see for anyone that loves sports, or anyone who loves film.
I was fortunate enough to see this film at the Toronto International Film Festival and was shocked and awed by what I saw. The film takes us through the recent tragic events that unfolded in Russia and Ukraine. It was interesting to see the other side of the story - the many Russian citizens who did not follow the news of the events unfolding in the countries surrounding them. I would recommend this film to everyone. I'm sure it will resonate with many and it will help those involved in the events of the last few years. I am also thankful for the fact that this film was made. It could have been easy for the Russians to dismiss this film as propaganda and I believe that's what the Russian government did. However, I believe it was a truthful portrayal of events and it will make the Russian people proud. The Russians have now made a great effort to make their film a reality and I hope it will continue to inspire people to take a stand for their rights and their country. The film has been put together very well and it shows how much thought and effort went into it. It will be a great experience for the people that see it and it will make them feel that they are an active participant in the change that is taking place in the world. I hope everyone can take advantage of this film to make the world a better place for everyone. To all those involved in this film: I am so proud of you!
You can't help but be impressed with the work of these highly trained athletes. I was watching this documentary on television the other night and thought it was great. It was not "high on an athlete's achievements" as the title of the program might suggest. These are athletes who are dedicated to the sport and work tirelessly to reach the top of their sport. They are not "just some athletes". They have a strong support system to help them succeed. I have been fortunate to see the careers of many highly motivated athletes. Many of them have not had the opportunity to reach the top of their sport. The documentary does a good job of showing the development of the athletes from a young age to the top level. The focus is not on individual performances or achievements. It is about the whole group of athletes and their progress through the years. The athletes themselves are outstanding. The best example of this is of course, the three Russians. Their efforts are really remarkable. However, the documentary does not do a good job of showing their childhoods. They spent most of their lives in the Soviet Union and then moved to the United States. It is amazing how they managed to raise their motivation levels and their talent levels to the highest levels. It is hard to imagine the struggles these three men must have faced and the reasons behind their success. One can only hope that this documentary can help encourage future generations of athletes to pursue their dreams. A strong story, excellent photography, and an inspiring documentary all contribute to make this a great film.
I will be the first to admit that I am a basketball fan. I can't say I have ever been a fan of any sport but I have always been a basketball fan. I have been watching every game of the 2002 NBA season on ESPN. I was a bit disappointed that the game was not on TV. When I heard about the Russian Five, I was thrilled. I thought it would be a great way to see a documentary on the greatest team ever in the history of the NBA. I was wrong. The film was very boring. There were many times I would have to fast forward to get to the part I wanted to see. The Russian Five was not a great documentary. I don't know if it was the fact that I was not very interested in basketball or just the fact that I didn't want to waste my time watching it. I think it would have been better to see the documentary before watching the game. I would have had more fun watching the game. Overall, the film was not worth the money that I paid to watch it.
The story of the Russian Five, a group of four Olympic gold medalists who were ordered to train in a sports camp in Siberia by the Soviet regime. This is a great documentary on the sports doping scandal. It shows the real story, from the beginning of the scandal until now. It's also very well edited, it has good sound quality and the audio track is excellent. It also has very good pictures of the camp. It also has a very good interview with the athletes and the film crew. I also recommend the documentary to people who are interested in sports doping. It's a very important documentary to show the truth. It's also a good movie to watch if you want to see what the Russians did to their athletes.
I've been a fan of the sport of swimming since I was a child. I had never really seen a documentary on the sport before, but I'm glad I gave it a try. I was especially interested in the documentary because I was fascinated by the fact that there were athletes who didn't know anything about swimming and yet they were able to achieve great feats of swimming. The documentary covers everything from the world championships to the Olympics and all the while the main focus is on the swimming world championships. I found the documentary very interesting because it explores the world of swimming from different points of view and shows us what the world of swimming is like. The documentary focuses on the athletes and the stories behind their achievements and how they deal with the stress of being a professional swimmer. This is a very interesting and interesting documentary that I would recommend to anyone who is a fan of the sport of swimming.
I'm a big fan of the 'Russian Five' and have watched them several times. It's the best I've seen in the last 10 years. The film takes a look at the world of cycling and the anti-doping system. It shows the way that a doping agent might work, how a good cyclist might be able to manipulate a team to be able to get on a winning bike. The film also shows how the team had to deal with the 'Russian Five' and how the Russian doping agency operated. This film is a must see for anyone interested in cycling or anti-doping.
This is a wonderful documentary, the story of a group of Soviet athletes, from a cross country ski team to the Olympic team, who were taken by the KGB during the 1980's. This film is about the doping of athletes in the Soviet Union, and the efforts to clean up the sport, and the trials and tribulations they went through, before their final competition. This film is very well done, and very informative. The subject matter is important, and the film has a great amount of information on doping, and the KGB's efforts to keep it a secret. This documentary is very well made, and I highly recommend this film.
I recently saw this film at a showing in San Francisco. I am very glad that I saw it and I would recommend it to anyone. The documentary is a well-made and professional effort by a film crew of about four people who have covered a large number of sports in the United States. The film is informative and is an interesting look into the attitudes and actions of many of the athletes and coaches involved in the game. I thought it was particularly interesting to see the emotions of the coaches of the various sports. I was especially impressed with the interviews with USA Football and American Football players and coaches who are concerned about the future of their sport. While I'm not a football fan, I thought the film was a good way to see what the sport is like in the United States and where it is headed. I thought that the film was very well made and it gave the viewers an idea of what the players are going through in the first few months of the season. The film was not in the least bit sensational and it showed a very honest look at the issues facing the sport. The players are very realistic and I believe that this film should have an enormous impact on the sport. I think the film also went to great lengths to try to show the hardships the athletes face while playing. The film also has the advantage of being very personal. The film was made by a group of people who have been involved with the sport and it is obvious that they were not able to get their interviewees to speak on camera. I think that the film did an excellent job of showing the players, coaches and fans in a very personal way. The film was a very good and professional effort and I think that anyone who is interested in the sport of football should see it.
I thought the movie was great. It was funny, and really took you to the team that was trying to make it to the Olympics. I thought the people that were in the movie were very real. I am going to go see it again, and I think it will be great. I think that it will make people understand what they need to do to make a difference in this world.
This documentary is one of the best I've ever seen. It gives the viewer a true understanding of what it's like to play hockey and what it's like to be a Russian in the NHL. The story of the Russian Five is very realistic and it really makes you appreciate the sport more. This documentary is definitely one of the best documentaries I've ever seen.
What I find amazing about this documentary is how well it captured the essence of what it was like to be a young man with a broken back in a different time and place. The best part of the film is how this man, the son of a former heavyweight boxing champion, came to be a part of the Russian team that was forced to retire in the first place. He still remembers the moments of his childhood when he would wake up and have to sit down on his bed and have to run to the bathroom to pee. He could not even stand up and get up to use the bathroom for fear of falling on his back and breaking his back. The documentary goes into great detail about his experiences with the Russian team, from the lack of food and water, to the training in the ring. The documentary also shows that these young men were a team, and they had all been trained in the ring together for a long time. The documentary also shows how the Russians were forced to retire, not because of their lack of skills, but because they had no chance to advance to the Olympics. The documentary does a great job showing the differences between Russian and American athletes. The Americans are always seen as the top athletes in the world, but in the Russian team, they were always the top fighters. While the Americans were known for their ability to punch the heaviest of weights, the Russians were known for their speed, and accuracy. The documentary also shows the differences in attitudes and training methods of the Russians and Americans, showing that it is not just about fighting, but it is also about how to train and how to prepare for a fight. The documentary also shows the history of the Russian team and the tragedy that happened to them, and how the Russians were forced to retire. I highly recommend this documentary, as it really captures the essence of the sport, and the emotions of the athletes. This documentary is a must see for any fan of boxing, and any fan of documentary. 9/10
It's been an hour since the Russians beat England in the final of the World Cup and most of the world knows that it was a great match, a great game. The football world is divided and the TV ratings have been amazing. But this film is not about the football, it's about the heartbreak of losing. This is the story of the Russian 5, the sportsmen and women who stood up to be counted and who in many ways were the reason the Russian soccer team came so far in their quest for a World Cup victory. The film is so powerful that it is hard to believe the events that happened and the way the world reacted. This is a beautiful film that tells the story of a sport that is not as simple as it seems. It is a story about how the people of Russia and England, and many other countries, can rise above their differences to become friends and even allies in the name of football. It's a story about the power of friendship and the bonds that can be forged between nations.
A must watch for all of us who have been involved in a similar situation. An eye opening and heart-wrenching story of what happened to the five boys and the choices they made, and the decisions they made. It is also a story of redemption and the lengths a man will go to in order to be with his family.
I love watching this film. It shows how football can help a country. It is really sad when a country has to suffer a horrible war with a horrible dictator. The Russians must be very proud of this movie. I wish the Russians could take back the territory they lost to the Nazis. I think this film is really important. I think the world has a lot of talent and it needs to use it. I hope that people will watch this film and watch the Russian Five and give them a lot of credit.
This is a great documentary and an overall excellent documentary, it is definitely worth watching. It contains real football footage from all over the world and is very informative and entertaining. The documentary does contain the true story of the Russian Five, as it is based on a true story. The documentary is very good because it provides a lot of facts and facts that many people may not know or remember. This is especially true for the fact that they are genuine footballers and that they were real heroes. This documentary was also interesting because it contains many interviews with people that know the facts. It also contains a lot of facts that are never discussed in the news. Overall this documentary is extremely good and worth watching. The documentary is very well done and it's worth watching.
I have been a hockey fan since I was 5 years old. I have watched this film over and over and it has touched me in so many ways. I am so glad that it is not being used for commercial purposes. It should be on the top 100 films of all time. I feel that it should be seen by all people, and hopefully they will see it as well. I feel that this is one of the best documentaries ever made. It is amazing to see how so many people have taken the time to do something that many would not do. I hope that this film can be used to help make the sport more accessible to more people.
I've always been a fan of the Russian Five, so I was interested to see the documentary on this movie. I really enjoyed the story and how it ended. I think the fact that this movie is about the Russian Five makes it even more interesting. I am sure this story is similar to other stories of Russian athletes who were forced to compete in the Olympics. The fact that the Russian team was the best in the world and was able to win medals is a great story. I think the documentary is very well done. The documentary really does give you a good feel for the real story. I would definitely recommend this movie.
As a child, I was fascinated by the stories of the three American boys who had just won a gold medal at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City. I was reminded of their heroics in a time when I was too young to understand their struggle. In a recent visit to my grandparents, I learned that they had watched the movie with me, and I was amazed to see how closely the same story had been told and re-told. I'm sure that a lot of Americans will watch this movie and remember that they were in that moment too. The power of this movie is that it can be a very positive reminder for anyone who remembers the past, whether they were born in the 1950s or now. I'm sure that this film will be a huge hit with anyone who has ever been on a team, especially the women. And, it will also be a great way to remind all of us that it is possible to be proud of our country without being a racist or a sexist.
I'm a sports fan and when this movie came out I had to watch it. I really enjoyed the way they put it together. It was very informative and had a lot of great clips. I think this movie is very educational to people who aren't so familiar with the game. It also shows a lot of the things that go on in a football game and how the players are treated. It really shows how a player really feels. The movie was very well done. I think it is a must see for any football fan. I'm sure it will be very well received by the fans. I hope you will also enjoy it.
I am a huge fan of boxing. I have been a fan of Bob Arum for years. This documentary is a great way to get a good look into what boxing is all about. It shows how the sport is being treated in America today. It shows how the sport has been changed in the last 50 years, and how it is still being treated today. The documentary is based on interviews with a variety of experts in the field of boxing, who give their opinion on the sport. They do a very good job of not only explaining the sport, but also explaining the problems with it. The documentary has many interesting details, such as the differences between amateur and professional boxing. They also explain the difference between professional and amateur fighters. I would recommend this documentary to anyone who is interested in boxing. It has many interesting and informative details, which will make you want to go out and watch a boxing match. My rating for this documentary is a 10/10.
This movie has the best story line, greatest execution, and best music. I can't wait for the DVD release. There is a scene in the movie that is very hard to explain, but if you watch the movie you'll understand. The Russians are the best athletes, the greatest fighters, and the best people in the world. They did not lose this time. Their team went to the Olympics and the Russians won the gold. This movie is the best. I would like to see it again and again. If you don't know the story line, you should watch it. If you do not know the story line, you should watch it.
My mother and I saw this movie last night. We were very moved by it. I can't believe how much the movie touched us. I saw it in a theater, and I thought it was pretty good. The audience was also very moved, and I can't understand how they didn't applaud when the film ended. I think they were still shocked from the movie. My mother and I both cried and I felt as if I was going to cry. It was a very moving and emotional movie. I can't believe I never saw it before. I hope everyone will see it, and it will make you feel the same way as I did. It really did make me feel good, and I really hope everyone sees it and feels the same way I did. Thank you so much for making this movie, and thank you to the people who made it, for making this movie a success. I can't wait to see it again. I really hope that you all get a chance to see this movie, and I hope you all will get a chance to see it again, and I hope you will love it as much as I did.
Being a long-time American (24 years) I have seen plenty of sports-related documentaries, and am familiar with the process of finding the truth. This is not a documentary, this is a dramatization of the early days of the Russian doping program, and an interesting story that hopefully will help motivate future athletes to improve their performance in order to be considered for the Olympics. The people interviewed are very credible, and the documentaries structure is very effective. Some of the more technical details are unclear, but overall, it's a compelling and effective story.
In my opinion this movie is the best documentary about the history of the Russian team that won the World Cup in Russia in '88. It is well done and all the stories are documented. I am very glad that this movie is available in English. It is a great opportunity to learn about the life of the team that won the World Cup in Russia. The team was an inspiration for many of us. It was a great achievement for Soviet Union and a big success for the Soviet government. I am glad to see this documentary in English.
The Russian Five (2001) was a very good documentary that told a story about the Soviet Union and the "Big Three". The documentary shows many interesting facts about the Big Three. The movie includes many interviews with some very famous people and shows what the people who were "in the know" in the Soviet Union were saying about the Big Three. This documentary was well done and I think it is a great movie to watch.
I saw this film at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006, and it was one of the most amazing movies I have ever seen. It was a story about the Russian Five, a group of athletes who won the Olympic gold medal in 1976, and were imprisoned for five years in the Soviet Union. The movie was very moving and made me think about what my life would be like if I had been a Russian in that time. The movie also made me think about the Olympics, about how much these Olympics are worth, and how it is a way to change the world. It was very interesting and I would recommend this film to everyone. It's a must see for anyone who loves sports.
I've always been a fan of Alex's work, but this is the first documentary that I've seen that really makes me want to get into his world and learn more about him. In the beginning of the documentary, Alex is interviewing a Russian climber and giving his thoughts on how he deals with the stress of being in a situation where you are constantly being monitored and constantly have to deal with the threat of being summited. This is a very personal perspective on Alex, and he's given a lot of insight into the "feelings" he gets during the ascent. I think Alex is a very talented climber, but he is also very sensitive to the situation and the feelings that he's dealing with. He seems to be able to connect with the people around him, and he knows how to work with them. I think he's a very interesting guy to watch, and I would highly recommend this documentary to anyone interested in Alex's work.
It's a shame that a few people would prefer to view this film as the ultimate version of the events that took place, rather than the actual documentary that it was. The fact that this movie is billed as a documentary and not a movie is quite strange and seems more like a marketing ploy, rather than a strategy to tell the truth.
I have seen a number of Russian movies and the Russian Five is my favorite of all. I enjoyed it very much and it was very entertaining. This is a great movie for anyone who likes sports. It is an excellent look at what the Russians do to their athletes. The athletes are subjected to all kinds of things like the stress of training and the weight of the country. The fact that the Russian athletes train for 3 months of the year is quite shocking and that is why I enjoyed this movie. I believe that this movie will be a great film for people who want to learn more about Russia and the athletes.
While I would recommend this film to all sports fans, I would also recommend it to anyone who has a passion for the sport of wrestling. For those who don't know, there is a great deal of controversy surrounding the sport. The Russians are believed to have invented the sport and are the only ones that have won World Championships. The sport is very violent, and some people argue that it is an Olympic sport. It's a fascinating story, but it also has a lot of issues. The film is a must see for anyone interested in the sport, but I would also recommend it to anyone interested in the history of the sport. It has an interesting plot, but it also has some inaccuracies. I also thought that the film had some good music, but it was not in the top ten. Overall, I would give it a 9/10. It is a very interesting documentary, but it also has some inaccuracies.
The story is not so clear to me. What is really happening in Russia in the 80s is not as clear as I expected. I am a Russian person and I am not particularly interested in politics, so I can only say that I do not find it convincing enough to form a thesis about the country's politics. But it is a fascinating documentary. The interviews are brilliant. The Russians are very frank and not afraid to talk about their frustrations, their joys, their anxieties. In that sense, it is very true to life. It is a pity that the movie does not explain much more about Russia, the Russian people, or the country in general. I would have liked to know more about the country and its people. But the good thing is that this movie was made in Russian. It does not make the Russians look like idiots. And if we look for an explanation about the way the Russians feel, the movie gives us an important clue. The Russian people are living the same life as the Americans. They are living the same way they are supposed to be living. There are very many similarities between the two countries. I have to say that the Russians are a little bit more open about their feelings. Maybe they are used to the way things are. So it is good to see them open up and not hiding anything. It is a pity that they don't really want to talk about what they are feeling, but they are willing to talk about it. And maybe that is a good thing. But I am not sure if that is the truth.
Ridiculous! I saw this on television and I actually thought it was interesting. For those who did not see it, let me tell you that the propaganda was so thick, it was so obvious, and the only person with a smirk in the whole movie was Mike Tyson. He must have liked it. I had to laugh a few times, especially at the humor of his character and the fact that he doesn't know what he is talking about. This movie could have been a great documentary, but instead, it is just too funny. But for those of you who did not see it, you can watch this and you will still be laughing a lot.
It was an interesting film. I didn't know what to expect but it was good. The film covers a lot of the same ground as other movies about the greatest sports ever and the rise of the Soviet Union. I was impressed by how the film didn't tell the story of the USSR as a whole, but only the individual sports. It is a story about the doping in the Soviet Union and the role of the Soviet Union in the doping of the Olympics. I am not sure what the purpose of this film was, but it is a good film. It has a lot of well known interviews and scenes. The focus is on the Soviet Union and not the sport of which it was a part. The film is more about the doping and the failures in the USSR. I recommend this film.
I have never written a review on IMDb before but I felt compelled to this time. The reason is, I am a HUGE hockey fan and I have always had a great respect for the sport and I am sure that the Russian Five are going to be a big hit with hockey fans across the country. The problem is, I am not a hockey fan. I am an avid hockey fan, but I have never played the game. I have only heard about the game from friends and family and I have always been a hockey fan. I will say that I am very impressed with the way that the filmmakers have covered the subject matter and have done a great job with the story. The film is not really about hockey. It is about how the hockey culture has changed over the years and how the game has changed over the years. I think the film would have been better without the interviews with the players. It is not really hockey-related, it is more about the changing of the game and the way that the game has changed over time. The interviews with the players are very interesting and I think that they are a great way to get into the subject matter. I think that they have done a great job with this film and I think that hockey fans and hockey fans in general should be very impressed with this film.
I am a great fan of the Russian Five, and this movie gives you the opportunity to see them in a new light. This movie is a great insight into the sport of hockey, and it's ability to grow through the generations. The people in this film are able to shed light on how some people in this sport are truly heroes. It's an incredible story of a group of friends who take on a chance, and come out the other side with a great story to tell. I recommend this movie to everyone who wants to learn more about the sport of hockey.
The Russians were no strangers to skaters and in many ways it was their success that drove the U.S.A. into the Olympics in 1920. They set the standard in skating and were a big reason why the US.A. won gold medals. The Russian Five is an amazing documentary about the Russian Five who broke the Olympic and World records. The story is fascinating. The documentary starts with the birth of the U.S.A. team. It goes on to explain the history of the Soviet Union and how the U.S.A. was formed. The documentary also discusses why the Russians were not upset by their Olympic defeat in 1924. The documentary covers how the U.S.A. built the "Russian Wall" to prevent their athletes from leaving. The documentary also discusses the influence of the Soviet government and the fact that the U.S.A. was a U.S. ally during the Cold War. The documentary concludes by showing clips of the Soviet Union. The Russians were not happy with their Olympics win and tried to prevent it. It was only a matter of time before the U.S.A. won gold medals in the World Championships. That is the story of the U.S.A. of that time. This is an excellent documentary and it is great to see the Russian Five, who are now almost 90 years old. They were so great and so talented. The documentary is amazing.
A good documentary on the Russian football team that was playing for the Olympic Games in '92. The film has a lot of good footage and interesting interviews, but it is a bit of a downer in the end. It is the final movie about the Russian team in the Olympics. The documentary is a bit of a let down.
The film's subtitle is "The Russian Five", but the truth is that it is about the entire history of the Russian doping scandal. The whole story was revealed in the documentary "Russian Infiltration", which aired on the Russian TV network "RTS" (Russian TV), and it is based on the book by Alexei Loukin, "The Russian World". The documentary was shown on December 12, 2012. The subject of the documentary is "The Russian doping scandal", and the whole story was told from the perspective of former athletes and their family members, and the documentary was made in English. I was really surprised by the great work of the documentary. It was really very accurate and convincing, and the story was not exaggerated. It was as much a documentary as a documentary film. I would definitely recommend this documentary to anyone who likes to learn about the Russian doping scandal. It is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen.
This documentary was an absolute pleasure to watch. As a huge fan of the sport, I can say that I didn't even realize that there were any Russian athletes competing until I saw this documentary. It was an amazing look at what it takes to compete and what it takes to win a gold medal. The story of the Russian team is amazing, but the story of the athletes is even more amazing. I would recommend this documentary to anyone who is a fan of the sport of wrestling or a fan of the Olympics. This documentary was a real treat to watch. I think this documentary is going to become a classic in the future.
This movie is one of the best movies I have seen, not only does it tell the story of the Olympic games in 1976, it also has some great interviews with the Russian athletes and coaches, but it is also a great movie that shows the inner thoughts of the Russian athlete in the Olympics, including the Olympics and the way they managed to live there. The movie also shows the effect of the scandal on their lives and how they ended up in the Russian penal colony, or some prisoners, or in prison. This movie is also very funny and sad at the same time, but I think that a lot of people don't really know how the Olympics worked in the Soviet Union. It is also very interesting that the Russians, as the team are very different from each other, so they should be added to the movie, but it's not that important, it is more about the story of the Russian athlete, so it could be a film for any person. 9/10
I was excited to see this movie. I love boxing and I've always thought that this movie would be about this sport. It was, but it wasn't the main focus. It was about Russian boxer, Boris Spassky. Spassky won the Olympic gold medal in 1960. He was an inspiration for the modern world, inspiring everyone with his amazing Olympic accomplishments. However, he was a recluse, rarely ever speaking to the press, which is why he didn't win the gold. He refused to allow his accomplishments to be recognized. However, he's been upstaged by others, and he's been awarded the Order of the Kremlin. There was a documentary made about him, and he won't let it go. This movie shows us some of the stories behind Spassky's life, and his relationship with his father, his mother, his wife, and his children. Some of these stories were told in the documentary. Others were told in the movie. If you're not a fan of boxing, or are not a fan of the sport, this film might not be for you. However, if you love the sport, or the sport of boxing, you will love this movie.
First of all, I have to say that I'm a fan of all the actors in this documentary, and I must say that I enjoyed watching this documentary the most. They are all great actors and great personalities. I think that the fact that the majority of these guys don't really speak the same language as they were raised in adds to the whole atmosphere of this documentary. They don't speak English and can't really communicate with each other, yet they all have a way of looking at things that you don't think is very realistic. You see people like Johnny Depp, Eddie Murphy, Billy Zane, Sean Penn and others in the film who all have their own ways of looking at things. You know what I'm talking about. I would have given this a 9/10 if it wasn't for the fact that I was a bit irritated by some of the things they were talking about. But even then, I would still give this an 8/10. It was interesting and informative. If you're into music, this is a must-see.
I really enjoyed this documentary. I thought the interviews were well done and the production values were excellent. It was also a very interesting look at the sport of volleyball. I think that anyone interested in the sport of volleyball should watch this film.
There are a few things to be said about the movie: 1. The film is not for everybody. You will find the majority of the people will get bored after the first ten minutes or so, especially if you have watched the first two movies. 2. It is worth watching the movie at least once. If you want to know more about the story, or are a fan of Rocky, then you will be a lot more excited. 3. Even if you don't like the Rocky movies, you will find the movie entertaining and worthwhile. Just be prepared to watch some Rocky-related scenes, just like you watched the first two movies. 4. The title, "The Russian Five", is a clear indication that you are in for a good time. The actors/actresses are very good, and the story is good, but the director really didn't know what to do with it. So it is a little confusing, but I think that is a good thing. It doesn't make the movie boring, it just makes it better than average. 5. The movie has been filmed in Russia and is in English with subtitles, which is probably the biggest plus. All in all, I think this is a really good movie that I would watch again, and I think it is a must for Rocky fans to watch. Overall, I give it 9/10, and would recommend it to anyone.
What a great film! I have watched this film a few times and always learn something new about the sport of wrestling. Great movie!
I was a huge fan of Russia's national soccer team until a few years ago when they were disqualified from the World Cup for doping. The IOC never really got involved in the matter, and the Russian government would not even discuss it. In the last few years, however, the Russian government has begun to step up its efforts to reform the country. In this film, Russian government officials and athletes discuss the current state of the country and the role of doping in Russia's recent World Cup victory. As a former athlete myself, I found the discussions incredibly informative and realistic. We learn the reality of doping, the harsh reality of the punishment, and the personal struggles that the athletes have to face. The film also includes a lot of personal stories, which are a very important part of the documentary. It's a very moving, inspirational film, and I highly recommend it.
The Russian Five is a documentary that shows a series of events that took place in the 1930's in St. Petersburg. The story centers around a group of Russian men who decided to boycott a baseball game, in which they were being paid $20,000 to attend. The men were all killed in a fire, in which the fire fighters were also killed. This film follows these men's stories, their struggles, and their aftermath. The film is narrated by the Russian Foreign Minister, and also features interviews with members of the team. The film is a wonderful look at the events and people that took place during the Great Depression, and at the time of the Soviet Revolution.
It's a good thing that the Russians have such an independent cinema as well as an independent film industry. It's a shame that Hollywood is so dominated by this country. The Russians are the only ones in the world that is producing this kind of movies. The Russians are the only ones that can produce movies like "The Russian Five" that are not the usual Hollywood movies that you see all the time. I would like to congratulate them on this amazing movie. I'm sure that this movie will become a classic one time. I have watched this movie many times. It's one of my favorites.
A great documentary about the Russian Ice Hockey team, the KHL, and the sport of hockey. The documentary is excellent, full of interviews with the players, coaches, and media. It shows the games, and the players' life on and off the ice. It also shows the fans and the Russian Ice Hockey Association. The documentary is well worth seeing, and it's well worth the time.
I found this movie to be an eye opener and a great way to get an idea of the level of corruption in the US of A. It is a little bit long and some of the interviews are a little slow, but the overall message of the film is very powerful. I recommend this film to anyone who has ever been in a position to know what is really going on in our government.
This documentary is about the Russian Five, a group of athletes who were found guilty of doping in the 1980's. It focuses on the athletes themselves, who talk about their lives, their lives at the time, and how they were brought down. It is interesting to see how the media and other people reacted to the story, and how they reacted to the guilt of the athletes. The documentary was really interesting to see, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about the scandal.
This documentary is well worth watching. The footage is of the highest quality, and the subject matter is something you wouldn't expect to see on the news. The fact that this is the only documentary on the subject, makes it even more powerful. The filmmakers, as well as the subjects, have done a great job of keeping the film as unbiased as possible, and they have avoided sensationalism. While there are many viewpoints on the subject, it is clear that there is a need to understand why this happened. If you are interested in the topic, this is a must see.
When I first heard about the Russian Five, I thought it was an interesting topic to explore. The filmmakers followed the progress of the case and the investigation of the investigation. They interviewed various people from the case. The results of the investigation were great. The only problem was that they didn't really go into much detail. They focused on a couple of key witnesses, and that was really the only thing they had to go on. If they had gone into more detail, it would have made the film more interesting. They didn't really go into the main story of the case, which was just a couple of witnesses who made a big mistake. But the filmmakers did a good job of explaining the case, and I think it was the best they could have done. I really liked the investigation, and I think the film was well done. I thought the film was better than I thought it would be. It was a very interesting film and I think it was the best they could do.
I watched this film on the second day of its release, and I am still thinking about it. It was one of the most powerful documentaries I have ever seen. The film is about the Sochi Winter Olympics and what happens when a small group of people attempt to take on the world's greatest sport. It is the story of the Russian five, a group of people who attempt to take on the Winter Olympics. The film is full of action and action sequences. The film is a powerful piece of filmmaking and is a must see for anyone interested in sports. The story is based on the real life story of the five, and the story is told in a very accurate manner. I was very impressed with the movie, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in sports.
The Russian Five is a great documentary about the Russian Ice Hockey team of the 1980's, it's an interesting and entertaining film that is great for hockey fans. The documentary tells the story of the team and the history of the team as well as showing the players and coaches as they live and train in the gym. The film has a great voice over narration by Michael Oliver, who was the coach of the team and also the coach of the 1980's US Olympic team. The documentary is very well done and is definitely worth a watch. The DVD has an great bonus feature, which includes interviews with all the players and coaches. The film is definitely a great documentary for hockey fans, it tells the story of the team and the history of the team as well as showing the players and coaches as they live and train in the gym.
