I recently saw this film at the Tribeca Film Festival and was quite impressed. It's funny, touching, and even very dark. The cast was incredible, and the story line was brilliant. I thought the movie was also very well cast, with some really strong performances. I hope to see this film in the theaters and on DVD. It's definitely worth a look.

Fifty-two years after the disappearance of Eloise and Lionel Tux, a local TV crew hires a helicopter to film the town's construction, which is apparently on the verge of collapse. On the way, the crew encounters a couple of odd characters: a woman who acts as a guide and is quite attractive, and a retired pilot, who is a little too old for the part. The pilot (Raymond J. Barry) says that his son is the missing boy. Soon enough, the three converge and begin their search. Eventually, they meet up with a man who, like the pilot, is not the son of the pilot. He's the son of a wealthy, kindly man, who must be the son of Lionel Tux. Soon enough, they are close to discovering the boy's identity. They also discover that the town is built over the remains of an old theater, which, once, was a very popular venue for the theatre community. The film was written by the author of the original novel, but the film was changed to make the film more suitable for the adult audience. The film is a little better than the original book, but still has its flaws. I'll try to sum it up in one sentence: It's a good film. Recommended. -PolarisDiB

However, it is important to note that the film has a rather large cast of characters, and the majority of the film's runtime is spent with Paul, his mother, and a few other people. This is not surprising, as it is a film that focuses on the interpersonal relationships, and how they are effected by the removal of a loved one. The relationship between the two brothers is also very well developed, and it is fascinating to see them develop from having a strong bond with each other, to the strained relationship they have with their mother. Paul and his mother also do a great job of showing the level of resentment they have for each other, as they are shown in great detail, and it is clear that they are very aware of their relationship, and that it is in danger of being broken. Overall, the film is a really good film, and I would recommend that anyone who is interested in the family drama genre, should see it. 8/10

The Prince (James Caan) who is the absolute head of the family is a professor who still thinks the Bible is the word of God, but is getting pushed around by the Prince of Wales (Johnny Depp), who is the real head of the family. The Princess (Tilda Swinton) is the perfect girl, but is constantly being brainwashed by the Prince of Wales (Depp), who wants to make her a whore. The only other character in the movie who speaks English is the warrior who seems to have been around for a long time. I enjoyed the movie a lot and liked the acting as well as the storyline. The reason why I rated it 8 instead of a 10 is because there were a few scenes that were not included in the original version. For example, when the chicken is having a seizure, the scene was cut and then a new scene was added which was really annoying. Also, when Anna was in the shower with a guy, the scene was cut and then the next scene was added. And lastly, when the 2 guys were in the ice cream store, they were cut off but then a new scene was added. All in all, the movie is well worth watching.
