England, 1959. Free-spirited widow Florence Green (Emily Mortimer) risks everything to open a bookshop in a conservative East Anglian coastal town. While bringing about a surprising cultural awakening through works by Ray Bradbury and Vladimir Nabokov, she earns the polite but ruthless opposition of a local grand dame (Patricia Clarkson) and the support and affection of a reclusive book loving widower (Bill Nighy). As Florence's obstacles amass and bear suspicious signs of a local power struggle, she is forced to ask: is there a place for a bookshop in a town that may not want one? Based on Penelope Fitzgerald's acclaimed novel and directed by Isabel Coixet (Learning to Drive), The Bookshop is an elegant yet incisive rendering of personal resolve, tested in the battle for the soul of a community.

When I first saw this film, I thought it was just another one of those French movies that are always good. But when I saw it a second time, I was surprised that it was actually very good. I am not a big fan of movies about Paris but this one was very good. It is one of the best films I have seen lately. The film has a very good pace, the story is very well done and the acting is very good. It is about a girl who moves to Paris, because her father was in the army. When she gets there, she discovers the world of books. She falls in love with the bookshop owner and starts to discover the world of books. The story is very interesting and I think it is very well done. The characters are very well developed and the director did a great job with the filming. The sound was also very good. The music was good as well. I think the movie is very good and I recommend it to anyone who likes movies about Paris.

It was a real surprise to me to see that the original film (the one with Kevin Kline and Paul Reiser) was a great film, but the remake was really bad. First of all, the editing was absolutely terrible, there was one whole scene that was cut, and it was a very important part of the film. The characters in the original film were very expressive, they were people you could actually identify with. I was a little disappointed with the acting. The main character was good, but the main male character in the remake was terrible. He had no expression, he was so stiff, he was as if he didn't even want to act, and I couldn't believe that someone like that could have such an amazing acting career. He looked like he didn't want to be in this film, and I could not see why the director thought he was that important. Also, I think the original film was a little more humorous, the remake just was a little bit more violent. It was a lot more violent, I was laughing more at the violence in the original, but the remake just was too violent. I would have liked to see more humor in this film. But the good thing about the remake was the story. The original story was more fun and entertaining, and the remake just was very violent, and boring. The story wasn't bad, but it was a little bit overlong. It was not as exciting, and there were not as many twists. I think the director tried to make a film for everyone, but he just made a film that is boring for the majority of the audience. So, I think the director made a mistake, and he should have let the original film run without the violence. The remake was too violent for the majority of the audience, and that's why I say the remake was a failure. But I think that the original film is a great film, and I think that this remake is a very bad film.

This is a beautifully written, well acted, very good film. It is a story about a woman who is so utterly consumed by her emotions and her life that she cannot be held responsible for what she is doing. She is no longer a person with whom you can talk. She is a person who has to be held responsible for what she does. This is a wonderful film. The cinematography is stunning and the performances are great. The story is beautiful and moving. The actors are very good at bringing the emotions of their characters to life. The film is very moving, and it is very hard to watch the movie. This is not a movie for everyone, but it is definitely worth watching.

I loved the book! I read it as a kid and I thought it was amazing. I've seen the movie and I was shocked. I don't know how to start! The film is great, but the book is better! The characters are different, the story is different. It is much darker and more emotional. The characters are not the same. The author wrote the book and the movie is just a retelling of the book. The characters are more complex. The characters are more interesting. The book is so much better. I feel the movie is a waste of time. It is just a retelling of the book. The book is much better! I love the book. I think it is amazing. I know the book is better, but I can't wait for the movie!

I am a fan of the book and I thought this film did justice to the book. The performances were very strong and the story line was great. I think the key to all films is the story and this one was good. I am not a fan of the book but I think the acting was spot on and the story line was great. I thought the ending was the best part of the film and the movie was good as a whole. I think the real challenge in the film is telling the story and the book is much more than just a story. I think the film did a good job of capturing the book's story line and it was a great book to work with. I recommend this film to anyone who has read the book and wants to know more.

When I first read about this movie, I didn't know what to expect. And as it turns out, I didn't have too much of a problem with it. There was a lot of negative feedback I heard about this movie and that I didn't really like. But I was actually very impressed with the movie. The movie has a lot of elements that are very well done. For example, the camera work is pretty decent. I liked the camera work on the movie, because it actually looked like it was from the early 2000's. And the music is very well done. The movie also had a lot of good cinematography. It was definitely very artistic. The acting was very good, especially when it comes to the kids. I really liked the acting in this movie. I was really surprised with the acting in this movie. The actors did a great job in this movie. I think they did a really good job. Overall, I really liked the movie. It was an enjoyable movie. I would recommend this movie to anyone. This movie was very well done. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone.

I was lucky enough to see this film in Toronto in 2012 and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the film. I would never have guessed that a film could make me feel so drawn in and emotionally involved. I would be hard pressed to call the movie "good" but it is definitely a work of art and one that I will recommend to anyone who has ever felt emotionally cut off from the world. I was born and raised in Ireland, and after watching this film, I can see how the storyline could be appealing to anyone from that country. However, the fact that this movie is actually set in Canada adds another layer of meaning to the film. This is a truly unique film and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see a film that makes them feel something. This film will not be for everyone, and most people who view it will leave feeling disturbed or torn. If you can make it through this movie, you will not be disappointed.

The Bookshop is the story of a young woman who is raised in a rural environment and learns to read at a young age. She is not a very good reader, but when she gets a new job in a bookshop, she is taken under the wing of a young woman who is very enthusiastic about reading. From there on, we follow the relationship of the two. This movie does a good job of showing the struggles of a young girl to be accepted in the world and the pressures of being a girl who is going to be a woman in a very short period of time. This movie is a must see for young women. It is a great story about overcoming all the obstacles in life. It is very uplifting and really does a good job of showing the trials and struggles of being a woman and how people will try to stop you. I highly recommend this movie to anyone.

It's a story about a family of Irish immigrants in the 1960s, who have grown apart from their neighbors and the community. The story is set in the south side of Chicago. I'll start with the great performances of all the actors and actresses in this movie. I am not a big fan of Amy Adams but she was superb as Sally, the mother of the son who leaves to go to college in Chicago. I was very impressed with Jeremy Renner as Father Mulcahy. He was very convincing as a traditional Catholic priest who was an ally of the immigrant Irish family. It was very moving to see him struggle with his conscience and his own faith. Overall, the acting in this movie was great and it's a story about family, friendship and faith. It is definitely a film that I will watch over and over again.

I recently read the book, which was excellent, and decided to see the movie, and it is quite an interesting film. I was disappointed that it was more of a character study than an actual story, but it is a shame because it does seem to be trying to tell an interesting story. The movie is told in a documentary style, and I think that it does not really go anywhere, and some of the parts seem like they are trying to force the story. I think that it would have been better if they would have been more focused on the book. I thought that the main problem was that they had a very slow pace, and I thought that the focus of the film would have been more on the characters, instead of the story. There were a few parts where I thought that they could have been a little more focused on the characters, instead of the story, but it was still a good film. I think that it is an interesting and worthwhile film, and I hope that it is as good as it was made out to be.

I read the book a long time ago and I was very disappointed in how the movie turned out. The book was much better. The movie was excellent. I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves good movies.

I saw this movie on Sundance, and the fact that it was made in Hollywood, made me curious about how it would be. It was well directed and acted, and it was not all that predictable. I had my doubts about the ending, but it was also good. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a movie that will make you think.

Having heard nothing but great things about this movie and seeing the trailers for it, I was apprehensive. I had never read the book, but my friend convinced me to watch the trailer and I'm glad I did. The movie is just a great piece of art. It is so well-made and the acting is very believable. It's so different from the book, it's amazing. I've read the book, and I can't believe the amount of changes it was made for the movie. I'm still not entirely sure what it was, but I can definitely see why it was changed. The movie was not meant to be the book, it was meant to be a movie. I'm not sure how it can be any more true to the book. The movie is also more realistic than the book. I read the book, and I was sure that it would be unrealistic, but I was wrong. There were so many things that were not in the book that were not in the movie, so I'm glad the book was made into a movie instead of an adaptation. I would recommend this movie to anyone who has not read the book, because it's really good. The book was also great, but the movie was much better. If you haven't read the book, you won't like it as much, but it's still a good movie. It's not a perfect movie, but it's good. I have no idea why people are calling it terrible. I think it's great, it's a very good movie, and it's the best movie I've ever seen in my life. It's so good, and I don't understand why people are bashing it. I give it a 9/10.

I have a feeling that the audience of this film will be the same that saw "The Blair Witch Project." I found "Bookshop" to be an interesting film about the disappearance of a young girl. The camera work is beautiful and the actors are not bad. However, the film has the problem of having a heavy hand on its story. In the beginning of the film, the film seems to be telling us a story about the disappearance of a young girl. However, the story is interrupted by scenes that are not really important to the story. The story itself is a well told one and I think the film did not have the chance to tell it in an interesting and unique way. Therefore, this movie seems to tell a story that is not really interesting to tell. However, I believe that the director did not do his best to tell a good story.

It's a well done movie with strong characters. The acting is solid. The photography is beautiful. The soundtrack is haunting. There are some parts where I was on the edge of my seat. There are also parts where I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't even have to. I was like, "I can't take this anymore. I'm going to stop watching the movie." There are parts where the movie drags a little, but the plot is good and the performances are great. I loved the ending. I wish it was longer. The movie ends so abruptly. It leaves you wanting more. I felt like I knew everything that happened in the movie, but the film doesn't tell you that. It just lets you know that the movie ends. I didn't feel like I was robbed. I felt like I was given a chance to learn a little bit more about the characters, and that was what I really wanted. I think this movie could be enjoyed by anyone who is open-minded. I also think this movie is for the people who like to think.

I saw this movie at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was so good! The acting was very good, and the cinematography was excellent. I would love to see a full-length feature film of this film, and would like to see more movies like this one. The movie has a great message and it also has an incredible message of redemption. I highly recommend this movie to anyone.

I was surprised by how good this movie was. The story is well thought out, and the actors deliver their roles to perfection. The actors are at the top of their game. This is a family film that will be enjoyed by everyone. The story is about a mother and her two children, who come to live in a small town, for the winter. As the winter comes, the mother and her children start to act out in ways that don't make any sense. When the father comes home to find his wife and children, he discovers a woman who appears to be pregnant. The father decides to go on a road trip to find out what is going on. He soon discovers that the town is run by a sinister neighbor and his wife is sick. I found the movie to be more interesting than most. The story was well thought out, and the actors made their roles perfectly. The story was well thought out and kept me interested. The movie was not too long, which I was able to get into it quickly. This is one of the best movies I have seen in a while. I recommend this movie to everyone who likes a good film. I rate this movie 8/10.

I was afraid that this film would be a dud, but I was not. This movie is not a masterpiece, but it is still a wonderful movie. I have to give a special shout out to Gary Oldman. He is excellent in this movie. His character is both frightening and sympathetic. The director and writer could have made a better film if Gary Oldman had been in it. I think the movie could have been more dramatic if he had been in it. All in all, it is a good movie. It is worth seeing.

A young man named James Keach (Andrew Garfield) has recently been released from a mental institution after suffering from a traumatic childhood experience. He is now living with his mother and her two sons in a farmhouse. James is an active member of the church that is based on a strict code of conduct. One day, James's older brother, Tony Keach (Paul Rudd) arrives home to find that his mother is not home. The father is upset by the news and his brother gives him a copy of the Bible in an attempt to alleviate the problem. He and his mother discuss the Bible and that night, James is beaten and abused by his older brother. His brother, Tony has since left the church and has become a drug addict. The next morning, James awakes in a hospital with the knowledge that his mother has passed away. He begins to tell his brother that he has had a bad childhood and that his mother was a saint, but that his father has left him and that he has to get on his own. This is a very moving film. I have seen this film many times and I still cry when I watch it. I think that it is a great movie. It is a great story and it makes you cry. I am a Christian and I believe that people who are Christians should see this film. I believe that it is a good movie. I would rate this film a solid 8/10.
