For their eighth fully animated feature, Illumination and Universal Pictures present The Grinch, based on Dr. Seuss' beloved holiday classic. The Grinch tells the story of a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl's generous holiday spirit. Funny, heartwarming, and visually stunning, it's a universal story about the spirit of Christmas and the indomitable power of optimism. Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch lends his voice to the infamous Grinch, who lives a solitary life inside a cave on Mt. Crumpet with only his loyal dog, Max, for company. With a cave rigged with inventions and contraptions for his day-to-day needs, the Grinch only sees his neighbors in Whoville when he runs out of food. Each year at Christmas they disrupt his tranquil solitude with their increasingly bigger, brighter, and louder celebrations. When the Whos declare they are going to make Christmas three times bigger this year, the Grinch realizes there is only one way for him to gain some peace and quiet: he must steal Christmas. To do so, he decides to pose as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, even going so far as to trap a lackadaisical misfit reindeer to pull his sleigh. Meanwhile, down in Whoville, Cindy-Lou Who (Cameron Seely), a young girl overflowing with holiday cheer, plots with her gang of friends to trap Santa Claus as he makes his Christmas Eve rounds so that she can thank him for help for her overworked single mother. As Christmas approaches, however, her good-natured scheme threatens to collide with the Grinch's more nefarious one. Will Cindy-Lou achieve her goal of finally meeting Santa Claus? Will the Grinch succeed in silencing the Whos' holiday cheer once and for all?

This is my first review ever, and I think it will be for the best. I never liked the Grinch movies in the past, and this is the best of them. I saw it with my son who is 10 and he loved it. We laughed out loud at a few of the jokes and he got a kick out of it. He also said he thought the movie was funny for kids and adults. The animation was great and the songs were perfect. I think the plot was very funny and it was something to watch. I would say watch it if you have a kid or a teen that likes movies like this. You will not be disappointed.

I've always been a fan of the Grinch. I thought that when he was in a horrible situation, he did a good job and that he was a good role model for children. But then, I saw the movie and I realized that the Grinch is not only a good role model, but he's also a really good friend. I was so impressed by the movie, it's an amazing film that makes you laugh and it's a really heartwarming story. Every time I see the movie, I get a tear in my eye. I really think that it's an awesome movie and a really good movie that people should see. It's a really good film and I give it a 10/10.

This is by far my favorite movie of all time. I read the book in high school, and was always disappointed. The book was horrible. The movie, however, was great. I could have done without all the magic, but I think the film is perfect. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

I enjoyed this film quite a lot. I love the fact that it's based on a book, it is very detailed, and it's great to see how the Grinch got to be. The best thing is that it's completely hilarious, with some very clever jokes. There are some funny moments and it's very enjoyable to watch it all the way through. I think that this movie will go down as one of the best animated films in the history of animated films, especially for children. This movie is fun and engaging, but also has some really touching moments, and I think that's what I really liked. The Grinch is a great character, and the whole film is filled with many funny moments. This is a great film, and I'm sure that anyone who is watching this film will enjoy it as much as I did. I think that this is a really great film for anyone to watch, and I think that it's really good for children and adults, and that's what I think is great about this film.

This is a wonderful film, and the only animated film I've ever seen that I actually enjoyed. The story, though very short, is wonderful, and you will learn a lot about Grinch, and the meaning of Christmas. The music is wonderful, and the voice talent is perfect for the characters. The art design is perfect, and the overall look of the film is wonderful. The animation is great, and the voice acting is great. The story is about a kid, who's not a kid at all, but an adult. He's trying to be a normal kid, and by doing so, he becomes a Grinch, a character that was in a book written by the Grinch, and was sent to his new home. By doing this, he gives the Grinch a message that he wanted to give to all children, and that is, "In Grinch we trust". The animation is amazing. The character designs, and the art design, are perfect. The voice actors are wonderful, and this film has the perfect cast. The story is perfect, and the music is wonderful. The story has a little message, and is very touching, and this is a film that is not only good for kids, but for adults as well. This is a wonderful film, and will be a Christmas classic for years to come. I give it 10/10.
