I had heard about this movie before I saw it and I went to the cinema with my friends expecting to be disappointed. Well, my friends were right. But, even with the expected disappointment I was very pleasantly surprised. First of all, the plot of this movie is very good and original. The characters are very well developed and the storyline is very interesting. The action sequences are very well choreographed and really show off the movie's special effects. The story is very engaging and the actors do a good job in conveying the emotions of the characters. The acting is very good, particularly from Marion Cotillard, who portrays the role of Tia Dalma very well. The cinematography is very good and I would recommend this movie to anyone looking for a good action-adventure movie.
