They are very different people, but it's a story that anyone can relate to. The movie is very well made, with beautiful photography, and good editing. I was surprised by how well the film showed the relationship between Harold and Lillian. In the book, they were very close, but there was a lot of anger and bitterness. Here, they are almost always in one another's arms. In the movie, it's not as clearly shown, but I think it works. If you don't like this film, you probably won't like the book. This is a very romantic film, with a lot of passion. Harold and Lillian are two very different people. They are very caring, and loving, but very destructive. There is a wonderful documentary called "Mad Love" that was done about a year after Harold and Lillian's divorce, and it was very similar to the documentary that this one was based on. Lainie Kazan is an actress who has done her share of drama films, with a good performance in "The Bell Witch" being her best. This documentary on her film "Inland Empire" was just as good, but at least "Inland Empire" was considered a comedy, whereas this documentary is considered a drama. But that is okay. "Inland Empire" was a huge commercial success, and for good reason, because it had the right blend of comedy and drama. The story of Lainie and Harold was the real deal, but the issue of gay rights is a bit of a weak point. "Lainie's" father was a prominent character in the movie, but I didn't think he played any important role in the story. However, it is still an important point that she did not have to suffer the cruel fate of "A Streetcar Named Desire" with the relationship of her father and his lover being broken up. That was a very painful situation for Lainie, and I'm sure she felt it, as she has a very difficult time relating to her father and her mother. This documentary really shines on her acting, and even though I have not seen her in a big film since "Up In The Air", she has really grown and matured into an actress. As a woman, Lainie has done great work in her life, and I have to applaud her. She has done some good things in her life, and I'm sure this documentary will make her a much better person, as she has the power to do that. If you're interested in seeing this documentary, I highly recommend it.

Indeed, it was probably his second greatest achievement that he directed THE SHINING and THE FOO FIGHTERS. However, there is one film that he is still perhaps not the best at. And that is THE KUBRICK FILMS. Many critics are divided on whether this film is an impressive documentary or a documentary masquerading as a film. This film provides a fascinating look at a man that, for better or worse, has been in and out of the public eye for so many decades. The acting is generally top-notch, but Kubrick is the driving force of the film. The film is so well-made that it is difficult to even know what is going on at times. However, I would say that the best thing about this film is that it is fascinating, very well-written, well-made, and a fantastic look at a man who has been behind the camera for so many years and a man who has had a life-long fascination with the supernatural. For that reason alone, this film is highly recommended. However, for all of these reasons, I can see why some viewers will feel that the film is, at times, overly repetitive and repetitious. While I can't say that I completely disagree with this sentiment, I also have to say that there are some sections of the film that do remind me of other films that I have seen and this film definitely reminded me of The Shining. The two films that came to mind are HALLOWEEN and THE FOO FIGHTERS. In my opinion, this film is highly recommended.

From an entertainment standpoint, "Troy" is not a good movie, and it has to be said, I am usually very accepting of movies that are bad. If you like movies, and you like movies, you should probably see this movie. But for those who don't like movies, don't watch this movie. It is bad. Period.

These two friends, who had been separated since high school for years, finally get back together and get together for good. As they were on the subject of books, which Harold wanted to be a teacher, Lillian, who wanted to be a reporter, had to turn down her dream. Instead, she opted for writing a book about the society in which they grew up and became a star. I loved the book Harold and Lillian wrote in their youth. Harold was someone who was one of the most popular girls in school. Lillian was someone who always appeared to be around her age, with a few years on. Their story was the perfect blend of high school-life and being on the stage. As we watched the process of their book, I was totally engrossed in the way the two friends progressed. I was so looking forward to seeing them enjoy their life. The music was a perfect choice for this film. I just loved the soundtrack. One song that I had really missed during the course of the film was "Wouldn't It Be Nice". As they grew older and later in their marriage, Lillian wanted to begin to write for school and found it very difficult. She fell in love with The Rock and their characters on stage were especially fun. I hope that all of you, as I did, will see this movie, especially those who grow up in the same society in which the characters were growing up. Just be sure to get a copy of the DVD. I'm glad I got it, and I can't wait for it to be released on Blu-ray. I can't wait for them to watch this film again. We must do everything we can to help the story be heard.

My main objection to Harold and Lillian is that it pretends to be an original story when in fact, it is a variant on Hollywood legend. Is Hollywood royalty prepared to go against what is and feel they have to? Were they so afraid to be seen as the individualists that they did not want to buck the system that created them? In a sense, this movie is a depiction of an individual who will not have to deal with the establishment and do what is right. It would be a sad day in Hollywood if the establishment was to find out who they were and "deal" with them in a different way. That is why Hollywood was so concerned about "going against the system". The film does give us an inside look at the creative process of the Motion Picture "company", but for me, the movie is just too rich in emotion. I would be surprised if so many people have not gone to see this movie. But if you have not seen it, do not think twice about seeing it. Just be prepared to be disappointed.

Harold & Lillian is one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. The acting was excellent from the main characters. Robert Redford was a legend back in his silent days and he was a great actor. Harold was a great character and so was his relationship with Lillian. This was a great movie and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys classic movies.

This is a must see documentary on how Woody Allen transformed his film career. The film gives us a great look into the actors and the working of their movies. The filmmakers went through dozens of interviews with the actors. They were able to get people that have worked with Woody and to understand what he was really like and how he does not agree with what they are doing. The documentary also shows us how different people can get along with each other and what situations can cause anger. Finally, it is a must see for Woody Allen fans and everyone who wants to know more about Woody Allen.

This was an incredibly moving film. It showed, with the ease of a film noir, the relationship between two men that has lasted almost three decades and possibly the greatest marriage in human history. Tom Hanks is an inspiration, not only to me as a film fan but to the entire human race. His performance is magnificent, and it is amazing that he didn't get more than an Oscar nomination. His "guilt" upon leaving his wife for 50 years was extremely moving. And although there are issues of fidelity between Tom and Lillian, it is never about the age difference, or even the actual age difference, as that was very irrelevant to the story. I was with the Hanks family when he visited their home in Utah. My parents had made a deal with Tom when he was younger to tell him that they were going to do whatever he wanted, and that he had to marry a beautiful woman if he wanted to be married to someone younger, and he was never to date again. I was thrilled when he went off to college, and I think that was why he got married to her, and maybe his parents didn't want to destroy their marriage. They felt that they had to take care of their oldest son, and they could not give that up. Tom, with his incredible look, extraordinary talent, and is one of the greatest actors of our time, had every right to be with his wife. I would recommend this film to anyone who is looking to see a true story of true love. It is a story that is not easily told, and this film shows that it can be told, and a great example of this. My only question is about the ending. I feel that I know what happened to Tom, but I really don't. I'll get back to you. I am leaving a comment here that is more about my experience than the ending, but I will be honest. I think Tom's real and greatest wife may be someone else. I hope you enjoy the film, and I thank you for making it, Tom.

This is an outstanding film that makes me feel like a second-class citizen because of the abuse of power that the rich received and used in the film. So many of the guys that we see in the film have unbelievable, questionable stories about how they got their wealth, and how the rich feel the poor and have done to them. There are actually quite a few of these guys in the film. The film is important because it is a powerful story and it provides a good example of the way that the rich feel. I hope this is an example of how things can go wrong with someone and lead to the death of the poor. The stories told by the filmmakers are not only of this film, but are of a story that the rich have told themselves for the last few years. This is a film that can have a great effect on the people and show them what kind of a world they live in. These stories should be watched by the public and they should be allowed to see that there are people who get rich simply because they are given an unbelievable amount of money. It is not a film that they should be watching, but a film that the poor should see that there is a problem, even if it is just a problem that has a small effect on them. I also believe that the film can be of help to those who are afraid of the problem of wealth inequality. These are the people who are struggling in a world that is beyond their reach, and should know that the rich do not care about them and have no regard for their life. I would recommend this film to any person who is interested in the problem of wealth inequality, the American dream, or an injustice that is growing in the world.

I'm not sure what the focus of the documentary was, but the interviewees were incredibly insightful about life after The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and their own inner turmoil. They discuss the struggles of pre-TFA fame, the challenges of getting cast as a young actress, the struggles of playing a young child actor, the pressures of fame and their own true families, and their own troubles with drug addiction. Their reflections about how fame is the biggest curse of all, and that "The Fresh Prince" lived his life by his faith, broke many societal norms, and was considered a great and great actor. One thing that really struck me, I thought it was interesting how they presented everything in a way where no one was necessarily the voice of a character. They chose characters to present their stories from many different perspectives, which was refreshing and good for the younger generation. One thing that really bothered me, was the way the mother and father's relationships with the other characters were portrayed, especially with the mother. When you hear someone say "I love you" or "I love you" to the character she's talking to, there's a feeling of guilt or something that's off, or she's failing to show her love. In this film they did a great job showing the child actors at a young age, when they were still acting. But there's a huge disconnect from that when the mother is talking to the two actors she's with. As for the relationship between the two actors, they seemed like they had a real relationship, but I'm not sure if she really meant it when she said that she loved him. This shows that the director should have made some more subtlety. Overall, this film is great. It is very intelligent and realistic, as well as thoughtful. I was really surprised that the directors were so interested in the social aspects of this documentary, as they talk about how drugs and alcohol can really destroy a person's life. It's kind of strange when you think about how it might be an ordinary person's drug addiction, but the way they handled it was very interesting. I would say this is a film I would recommend to anyone who's interested in the roles of actors or the social aspects of the film, but at the same time I think they did a great job explaining how people in the film were truly acting, which was something I didn't really understand before I watched it. In this film the social issues are interesting, but I think they could have included some more subtlety. However, I think that's why this film is so great. It's not a film that you can watch just for entertainment, but it's a very thought-provoking film that I think anyone should watch. I'm glad it was released on Netflix, as this is the first film to be released on Netflix that I've seen.

I loved the way in which director and actor watched and relived the memories of the film. There is no cliched way in which this film is made. The story itself is told in a way that is captivating, but there is also a mix of humor and sadness in it, so that the viewer is at the same time a part of the film and watching it unfold. I would recommend this film to any fan of film, or anyone who loves a good story told through film. My favorite parts were the way in which Harold and Lillian remembered and relived the experience of making the film, and the way in which they had a memory of the story that was being told to them. I have seen the movie about three times, and I have been the director of the original show. So I have seen the film that I have always wanted to see and with a new appreciation of how beautiful and wonderful film can be.

Perhaps it's an over-the-top and saccharine romanticism that is kindled by the presence of the two leading actors, but I found the movie and the movie itself to be better than most romantic comedies and what I found out in the end. For the first time, I got to see a movie about the very life of Harold and Lillian Bickers, the conservative movie star, and how that life affected them. I did not find this movie very charming and I really do not understand why they are called "cult" or "haunted" movies. I do not mean that it is shown as a ghost or a fairy tale or anything like that. It is purely a film about the evolution of a couple's, because they were a couple, but I can't say that it is very faithful to their life. But that's OK because this movie does have a very nice soundtrack, particularly for its genre. And the soundtrack is worth the price of admission.

I'm not sure what is more shocking - the show stealing or the show stealing itself. I am surprised that the following conversation never took place. Let's not forget how many times the fake Harold and Lillian have already been on screen in previous films. Is this all a part of the joke? If so, why do the audience continually ask the film-makers how to complete their moment. If I had known this then the film would not have been complete. The viewing public are aware that this is an enjoyable film and there is certainly a love for it, but should never question the ethics of it's portrayal.

Saw this film yesterday in a packed house at a film festival and wanted to tell you all about it. The way in which each individual related to the story was incredible and refreshing. It was fascinating to hear about the small-town people who were so authentic and wonderful and the epic story behind it all. You could feel their emotions and see their lives and how the world changed around them in a way that was not easily acceptable to them, which was an important part of this film. We were also shown how the film changed their lives and the people who were involved with the making of it and we can only hope that this documentary continues for many years to come. If you haven't seen it yet, get your tickets, get a ticket to the screening or the movie, rent or buy it! See it for yourself and you will thank me. And, to make a truly profound comment about this movie, you will need to see it again!

The best documentary I've ever seen. In the old days I was in love with Marilyn Monroe.I saw many of her movies but never saw any of her nude pictures. As I got older I realized that it was no use being so obsessed with Marilyn. She was a good actress and could have been great in any type of role she chose to play. I was so disgusted to see that she had committed suicide in 1940. I went to see a movie with my daughter and she was so upset that she kept telling me that she felt sick after seeing this documentary. I had no idea she had done that. I hope you will find this movie as good as I did.

Harold and Lillian has everything a film buff would want in a film. Beautiful locations, costumes, action sequences, and some of the most amazing (some may even call it unbelievable) sets I have ever seen. All the characters are real, and what is more, they are relatable and believable. Many people have said that these actors and actresses did a better job than anyone in their careers (I have to disagree). Harold (Philip Seymour Hoffman), Lillian (Reese Witherspoon), and Arthur (Matt Damon) all have a story of their own. Not only do these actors and actresses capture the essence of the lives these characters lived, but they are also so real and relatable that you can be yourself and feel their emotions. And finally, the film's director and producer is Phil Rosenthal, who was in the movie and has been around since I was in college. You can tell that he's had an influence on everything that follows him. This film is a must see and if you aren't already a fan, you should be.

This film is a life changing experience. It is a documentary that takes a really hard look at the complicated relationship between a couple, a reporter and a celebrity, both of whom have issues that will probably end in divorce. And these issues get so personal and personal in the film, it's almost as if the film were from the couple's point of view. A real eye opener, no one should miss this one.
