I loved this movie. I thought it was beautifully told. The performances were good, and the story was well-told. The music was good, but I was not a fan of the song by Billy Joel. The movie was well-paced, and I think it was the right length. I don't understand why this film has a 7.9 rating. This movie is not for everyone. I saw it at a movie theatre with my mom, and it was fun. I do recommend it to anyone who likes history. I think it's an excellent movie, and I hope the DVD will be released soon. I hope this gets released on DVD so people can enjoy the film.
This is a truly incredible film, one of the best of all time. The story and the presentation are well done, the cast is top notch, and the acting is the best ever by people in a leading role. The fact that it is a biographical film about the real John F. Kennedy (not an obvious biopic like '300', 'Titanic' or 'The King's Speech') and that this is his story, this is what I was waiting for. It is truly a historical, the most amazing, and touching film I have ever seen. It is so touching that you want to cry, it makes you laugh, and it makes you think. The picture is stunning, and the acting is amazing. George Clooney, well, he is wonderful. His acting is outstanding. Tom Cruise is also good, but I think he is better. Russell Crowe was great. But, at the end of the day, the best performance is the one that I am proud to have given. It is very hard to do that, and Tom Hanks did it very well. It is probably his best performance. One of my favorite scenes is when JFK is walking in the rain, and he starts to tell his daughter to go to the cemetery, and the scene is very moving. This is a must-see film, it deserves it, and I am glad that I saw it.
This is my first review and I'm really proud of it. I was looking forward to seeing this movie. I saw the trailer and the trailers for all the other JFK films were excellent. It had a really interesting story line that was quite an interesting film. It has been suggested that the story of this movie is about Lyndon Johnson but I don't think so. It's a really interesting movie but it isn't about Lyndon Johnson. It is about a man who is put in a difficult situation and has to make a decision. It's really a great movie. I would recommend this movie to anyone. I would also recommend this movie to people who have not seen the other JFK films. I think that the other JFK films are great. I would also recommend this movie to people who haven't seen the other Kennedy movies. This movie was a great story. This is a great film.
I have read the review before I saw the movie. I don't think it's fair to compare the two. I think the reviewer didn't get the point of the movie, and maybe he's right, maybe he's wrong, but there's no way to know. I saw the movie with a friend, we had a good laugh, it's a comedy, it's a movie, it's a family drama. It's got a good plot, and a good ending, and it's a movie that you don't have to think about or analyze it. It's a good movie, it's not just for kids.
I loved this film. I had seen so many movies about the Vietnam war, that it was hard to keep up. This movie was a breath of fresh air, I mean we all knew what was going to happen, it was about a guy, but he got a bunch of other people to help him, they got the best equipment, they got the best of the best to fight, and the most famous and greatest of the war, Martin Sheen, was in this movie. The best thing about this film is that it doesn't talk down to the viewer. I don't think that we need a great lesson on what is right and wrong, we need to learn about our own faults, and learn about what we can do to help each other, and stop being so selfish. We need to put our differences aside and learn about each other. One thing I can't get over is how beautifully beautiful this movie was. I mean, I saw it in the theater, and I just thought that it was amazing. I loved the music, the locations, the cinematography, everything was just perfect. I think that this film was an excellent start to any person's knowledge on the Vietnam war. It is an amazing tale of a guy, but he got his friends to help him, he got the best of the best, and he got the support of so many other people, and they all learned from his mistakes. I loved this film, I think that we need more movies like this, that show what war is really like, and that doesn't glamorize it, and it doesn't show every soldier in the world with guns blazing. We need to let the people know that we don't know how to kill, and that we need to put our differences aside to help each other. I think that this movie was well done and I recommend it to everyone.
I just got back from the World Premiere of PJ, and while I really liked it I found some of it hard to swallow. For instance, the depiction of the CIA.I understand that it's a highly classified operation but, wow, in the middle of the movie when the story switches to Iraq we get a CIA Director (Edward W. Brooke) who's got a ten page report on everything. Gee, just kidding. The best part of the movie is the beauty of shooting. As I said, this is a high profile CIA operation and you can tell it's expensive. But the style of the movie is so beautiful and clean, that it doesn't seem like a high profile operation. The shots are beautiful and they make you feel like you're in a different era and place. The editing is beautiful, too, so that when things are fast it makes it seem so fast. I think that's why I think that some people who disliked the movie and think it's not the best film I've ever seen are missing the point of the film. The point is that it's a beautiful movie, beautiful people, and beautiful film. It's no great masterpiece but it's a beautiful film. And the beauty of the story and the characters are what really make it so good.
Dieter Laser has written the best film I've ever seen about one of the greatest military leaders the world has ever seen. Not only does he show us the man behind the mask, but also the man who once again changed the face of American war for the better, in a very, very serious way. The men in the film are real men, and it makes one think that most of them had had terrible experiences in the armed forces. Laser shows us what it was like to be a "naked paratrooper" and not get wounded, or get sent home. I could not have had it any better than this. In fact, I saw it twice and enjoyed it even more the second time around. It is a film about great American leaders, but not only that. It is also about war and our own feelings about war. It is a film that I would recommend to everyone, even if they are not a military historian or a military buff. It is a great movie, with excellent acting, a great plot, and the most realistic war I have ever seen. It also has great photography, so that you can almost believe that the film was actually made in Iraq. This is a very realistic film, which makes it even more important that we remember that war is really hell. This is a great film. I would rate it at a 9 out of 10, but due to the fact that I saw it twice, I would give it a 10. The great thing about this film is that it should not be viewed as a political statement, but as a film about how we should remember our military heroes, and how much they really mean to us. I would recommend this film to anyone, and anyone who has an interest in American History.
I saw this movie twice on the big screen. Once at the theater, and once on the big screen in my home theater. The second viewing was an experience of seeing it through a younger child's eyes, because it really seems to be a movie meant for children. Most people are obviously older, and I'm sure most people are going to go see this movie for the action and the guns. If you are interested in the true story of Abraham Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth, then you probably shouldn't see this movie. But if you're interested in the story of John Wilkes Booth and his preparations for war, then I think you should see this movie. The movie is very suspenseful and the plot is not overly complicated, just slow moving at times. It is the great strength of the movie, that you really do care about the characters and the story that is told in this movie. The violence in the movie is absolutely horrifying, and it really is something that you really don't want to see in a movie. I can't say enough about this movie, it is the best movie of 2008, and definitely the best movie of the year.
I was shocked when the actor told me he didn't see the film until about a year ago and thought I'd never be able to understand the true meaning of the events portrayed in the film. Fortunately, I saw it last night and I now understand and admire the strong effort put forth by the director and the rest of the cast. The film was not about the Vietnam War but about the contradictions in the society of the 1960's. I think it is an excellent film which will provoke an interesting discussion about the meaning of life and the purpose of our lives.
One of the most realistic movies about JFK ever made. The story is told from several points of view. There are three different story lines: The rise of Kennedy, the struggles of LBJ and his wife and children, and finally the assassination of the president. All told in a short space of time, keeping us in the moment and interested. And all the actors and actresses are superb. It is the story of a man that will live forever in our minds. 9/10
John Lennon would have approved. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" is the greatest rock-musical album of all time. I have seen this movie about 3 times and I will see it many more. I must say that I am a little tired of the negative comments on this film, and I will not be a part of it. I am tired of the criticism of this film. It is an outstanding film. I have been waiting for this film for 30 years. I remember seeing this movie when I was a kid and I have seen it about 20 times. It has been a long time since I have seen it. I love the film because of its story. The performances are top-notch, and the songs are incredible. I give it a 10 out of 10.
I have been a fan of Martin Scorsese since I first saw Taxi Driver in 1984. But after seeing JFK, I thought it was time for him to write a book. I believe this movie is the most faithful portrayal of John F. Kennedy's life I have ever seen. His flaws are exactly like he was portrayed in the movie. As the film progresses, it becomes clearer and clearer that he was not a perfect man. JFK was not a perfect man and that was true throughout his life. There were things he could have done better, but that is what made him who he was. I do not know what people are going to say when they see this film. But if you want to know what it was like to live through the life of the man, this is a must see. I highly recommend this film.
THE HUNGER GAMES (1996) * (out of 4) Willy Loman (Samuel Jackson) is an ambitious New York newspaper man who is assigned to a small outpost in Central America to cover the political turmoil going on there. Along the way he has to deal with a large local gang and a renegade soldier with the rebels. What will be the ramifications of the situations will eventually be determined in a final confrontation with the government. THE HUNGER GAMES is a terrific film that tells a great story with a great cast. The movie stars Samuel Jackson as Willy Loman and there is nothing I can say about him that hasn't been said before. I haven't been a big fan of him and I'm not that big of a fan of his but he does a great job here as the ambitious and ambitious reporter. I can't say anything bad about the other actors either. They all play their roles very well and it's good to see them have a great time doing it. The film runs a little long at a little over two hours but I think it's very necessary to tell the story. The last forty minutes of the film are the best part and it's a great ending. The last scene is a little out of place but it's not a big problem. The film is a great story and it's not always easy to tell a great story in any medium but I think this one is one of the best I've ever seen. I also like the direction it was made in. I'm not sure how many people will agree with me on this but I think the film is pretty realistic. There are lots of things that happen that you wouldn't expect. It's just an amazing movie and I don't think I'm going to be seeing it many times. I'm not a huge fan of Jackson but he does a great job in this. The last scene is one of my favorites of the year and I think it's one of the best I've ever seen. The film is an amazing story and it's one that I really enjoyed.
When I first heard of the script for LBJ, I thought that the movie would be a film about Martin Luther King, Jr. or Malcolm X, but it turns out that LBJ is just a "veteran" of the American Revolution, Civil Rights and Social Justice movements. It is a very good film that will make you think about a lot of different issues and is a great, well-done movie. It's certainly not a good movie for the younger kids, but I still recommend it. When it was over, I felt like I had just spent two hours with an important topic and was totally engaged. I really liked the characters and they all felt like real people and not just caricatures. And the plot was great, really moving and did a good job at showing how the human mind can change and change when it is faced with a challenge. It really was a very interesting movie, and I recommend it to everyone.
For anyone who hasn't seen this film, it's a true story of two political prisoners in Cuba who plotted to assassinate Fidel Castro. The film is about the Cuban Revolution and the events leading up to and following the assassination attempt. It was produced by the National Geographic Society and is based on the true story of Pancho Villa and Antonio Maceo. It stars Cuba Gooding Jr., Angelina Jolie, and Geoffrey Rush. The film is an excellent film and I recommend it to anyone who wants to see a great story. The film has a lot of great music. The music is the best thing about the film. I rate the film 9 out of 10.
If you're looking for a movie that will make you think, go ahead and watch this movie. If you're looking for a movie that will make you feel good, go ahead and watch this movie. There are few movies out there that can both of these things at once. You don't have to think the entire movie, you can just enjoy the movie and the experience. This movie was very entertaining and well thought out. Every scene had a point to it and the overall idea was great. You get so involved in this movie and you want to be there for the character, but also wanting to be there for the movie as well. This movie was extremely well directed and produced, with the use of great scenes. I will definitely be watching this movie over and over again. I thought the acting was amazing and the acting was the main reason for the movie to be rated so highly. The movie had an amazing story and the way it was put together was amazing. I would highly recommend watching this movie, I think it's a great movie to watch and get into.
Filled with powerful scenes and beautiful photography. The movie was incredible. There was never a dull moment. There were no flashbacks or flashbacks to put it in a more serious perspective, but it was still a very powerful movie. I felt the director and actors did an amazing job in portraying the struggle of being an American soldier in Vietnam. It made the viewer feel very emotional and very aware of their own personal battle with PTSD. It was not a movie about the war, but about the experiences soldiers had during their time in Vietnam. This movie will definitely make you think about the war. One of the most powerful movies I have ever seen.
Ladies and gentlemen, this movie is the masterpiece of the year. What is truly impressive about this movie is that it is so different. In fact, the most surprising thing about it is that it is not really based on a true story. It's actually based on a true story of a man who was actually arrested and tried for the most heinous crime of all times: treason. However, it's also based on the most powerful man of the world at the time: the king. This man had absolute power and absolute authority. He had no concept of wrong and wrong should be punished severely. He was seen as a god in the eyes of the people, and was seen as a man with a moral compass. His ideas are spread throughout the world. His idea of freedom was simply spread with mass propaganda. The only person that disagrees with his ideas is the king himself. His idea is so wrong, so evil, so contrary to what we are used to see in the world, that he becomes the first man in history to be executed. This is the greatest story ever told. It is also the greatest movie ever made. The cinematography is amazing, the story is amazing, and the music is amazing. This is one of the most powerful movies of all time, and it is the best movie ever made. It is so powerful, so powerful, and so powerful. This is a must see movie.
I loved the movie. I was a fan of Oliver Stone before seeing this film. He was always very clever. I remember the first time I watched the movie I was in awe of the fact that someone could be so sophisticated and do so many things with so little material. This film was a very good introduction to Stone and one of his best movies. He was always very intelligent and great at using the camera. The cinematography was spectacular and I always loved the music. This movie was filmed on location in Northern California. It was shot on VHS tape and I have the DVD. My only complaint was the fact that the movie was a little slow and lacked some of the action. I would say this movie is great. It is certainly not for all tastes, but it will be a classic for a long time.
Director Joe Wright's portrayal of LBJ's commitment to Vietnam War reform and Vietnam War presence in the presidential campaign of 1968 is both engrossing and affecting. The story is about a Vietnam War veteran, former President Lyndon Johnson, who found himself caught between his commitment to the Vietnam War and his support for anti-war presidential candidate Eugene McCarthy. The movie is based on Johnson's diary and photographs of himself and his son, Robert. The main story line is told through photos of Johnson and his son in various stages of their life. Johnson was a well-known proponent of the Vietnam War and LBJ's son, Robert, had served in the War. The father-son relationship is more effective when the dad is older than the son. It is interesting to note that Robert was the only child in the Johnson family who had no close ties to the war, although his father had served in the War. As Robert grew, he seemed to become a more discerning individual, but it was his brother who became more concerned about his brother's professional career. Robert was a Vietnam veteran, so it was no surprise that he would become more involved in the Vietnam War, and later in politics. In a couple of scenes in the movie, Johnson discusses how the war contributed to his decision to make the Vietnam War a non-military issue. But the most effective part of the movie was the interviews with Johnson's son and others who were there with him during the Vietnam War. The most striking scenes were the Vietnam War, Vietnam War veterans and those interviewed. Robert Johnson was a beloved icon and this movie served as a great opportunity to better understand the personal history of the nation's most prominent political figure.
This is a film that requires a minimum of expectation. It is a documentary about Martin Luther King Jr. and his dream, a dream that led to his downfall and his demise. It is based on his life and times and there is no love lost, no drama of love, no action to stop the story. It is a tribute to a man who knew how to handle his enemies and the pressure of public opinion. I am amazed at the amount of hate this film received, the number of people that gave this film a 1. That is so surprising, because it is clearly not about King. I think that this film may have the most love that I have seen for a film, in many years. It is a real masterpiece, that does not need to be explained. The story is absolutely brilliant, and the plot is also brilliant. There is a lot to enjoy, and there is a lot to learn. A must watch for people, who like their cinema and documentaries. This is a movie to be seen.
As a fan of Jonestown, I was excited to see this movie. I am happy to say that the movie did not disappoint. I felt as though the movie was moving, and never bored me. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone. This movie was very well done. The acting was very well done, and the movie was very moving. I would recommend this movie to everyone. This movie was very well done, and is a must see for everyone. I am very pleased to see that Jonestown was now a part of history. This movie is a must see for anyone.
I haven't read the book, so I cannot comment on its accuracy. My best guess is that it is a good film. The story is well constructed and the acting is fine. But I wish they would have made it more interesting. It's pretty simple - some people are manipulated by the government, and others are not. But, the government doesn't tell the truth. So, you have people who are duped and manipulated, and those who are not. I do understand the power of a powerful government, but it's only one of many. It could have done more with this film.
This is the best movie I have ever seen in my life. The acting is amazing, the story is brilliant, the music is great, and it is a total experience. If you haven't seen this movie, it is a must see.
First of all I would like to say that this is a very good movie and is definitely worth seeing. Some people may say that the movie is slow, but it's the point, it's about love. And I have a little problem with this. The movie was slow in the beginning, but then the action starts and the plot kicks in. When the action kicks in, you start to really get excited about the story and how the characters are gonna react to it. The first part of the movie is slow but the second part is much faster and intense. I think that the reason the film is slow is because it takes its time getting to the point and I think that the film will be appreciated more by people who haven't seen the original "Bond". For me, this is a must-see and definitely a good action movie.
One of my favorites, this film depicts the march of the Cubans from their oppression to the freedom of the nation. The scenes with Castillo are amazingly realistic and well-done, and are true to the actual events. I've always been curious about what happened to Castro, and this film gives me a much better understanding of why. The man was one of the most divisive figures in modern history, and it's a shame that his countrymen would suppress such a great and interesting figure. He was so kind, and so loyal to his countrymen, that it's hard to understand how he could have turned on them. I think he was kind of a lost soul, which is why he was able to overthrow the Communist government so easily. This film is a must-see for anyone who enjoys movies. It's a great story, and a reminder of the achievements and tragedies of our nation. I also loved the Spanish accents that Castillo was supposed to have, but who knows, maybe it was just a script mistake.
John Lennon's dream is put to the test in the decades following his death. Through the course of several decades, the rest of his family find themselves on opposite ends of the political spectrum. Their views, and their families, are put to the test in ways that are beyond their control. The film is primarily a documentary about how the world came to be divided between two families that had been so close, but also has moments of sadness. This isn't a movie about John Lennon or his music. It's a movie about his family. I enjoyed this film as much as I did watching "The Band's" first film. The last part of the film is the most heartbreaking. The way the families of John Lennon and Beatle Paul McCartney came to terms with the deaths of their children was very touching. I can only hope that this film inspires people to take a minute and think about the questions they have about their own family. This film isn't a perfect film. There are a few scenes that were a bit too over the top, and the dialog could have been a bit tighter. But, the film was a solid 9 out of 10. Don't miss it. I rate it 8/10.
This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Every time I watch it I learn something new. I have seen it 3 times now. It really makes you feel that you are in the middle of the trouble you are watching it. It gives you a lot of information about how Vietnam war really went. The director did a great job with this movie. I think it is very important that this movie is shown in a perfect way. We must not forget that the country was about to fall, not some small army. Anyway, I have watched this movie and I think it is a really good movie. It was very important that everyone had to watch it because this is a very important story. People who have seen it will never forget it. It is a must see for everybody.
We have a generation of impressionable children. The irony is that this is the most difficult time to keep that impression. "Tropic Thunder" is the most daring work of all time, one of the greatest films of all time. It's an honest and intimate portrayal of life in the military. It's an exhilarating look at the horrors of war, but it's also an honest and raw look at life in the military. This is not the most graphic film. There are no blood shots. There are no sex scenes. There are no nudity. It's a perfect balance of images and moments that evoke the feelings and emotions of the characters, and has the power to touch us. It's a film that makes you think, and it does so in a way that you don't want to think. It's an experience that keeps you guessing, and it's a film that makes you cry. There is no way to capture the message of this film. If you haven't seen it, go see it. It's one of the most powerful and honest films of all time. It's a film that will leave you questioning about your own beliefs, and it will make you think. It's the ultimate film experience.
I first saw this film in the theater when I was 10 years old. I had no idea what it was about, but it was very powerful. At the time, I thought it was an exciting movie and I was amazed by the acting of the young actors. As I got older, I watched the film again and I discovered it was based on a true story. I thought I had seen all the great films of the 80's, but I was wrong. The film shows how people are misunderstood and how many people have been persecuted for their beliefs. I think this film is very important and very powerful. It shows the true side of the Communist Party and its members. It shows how it did everything it could to silence and intimidate those who stood up to it. It shows the lengths people would go to to express their beliefs and it shows how people are often persecuted for their beliefs. It is important to remember the good and the bad in this film and to always remember that people have the right to their own beliefs. This film will be remembered for many years to come.
No, I don't know how to feel about this movie. The reviews I've read from people are generally negative, and that is understandable. I know some people liked the film, and I liked it too, but I cannot remember the last time I saw a film that gave me this much pleasure. My favorite scene in the film is when John is talking with Elton John in the bar. He tells him, "I'm a bad man, a nasty man." Elton John looks at John and says, "That's true." They both say, "We've always been bad men, we've always been nasty men." John, tears up and says, "That's what I've always been." Elton John says, "That's what I want to be." They laugh and say, "That's good!" It's wonderful. My only question is, if he never learned anything in school, why is he so good at telling jokes? I don't want to spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it, but I'll let you find out. I also really liked the character of Lenny, played by Orlando Jones. I think Jones is the most convincing of the four main leads, and it's nice to see a character that we see more of than the other guys. I'm not sure why the two side characters were so irritating, but I can't say I was as annoyed with the main characters as I was with them. I felt like the movie moved along at a good pace, and the film did not lose my interest at any point. There were very few scenes where I was rooting for one of the leads, but that doesn't mean the other three were bad actors. I thought they were all decent, especially Robert De Niro, who I've always liked, but he really does deserve a nomination for this. He's the star of the show, and you just know he's going to win every award. I also liked the end, which I won't spoil, but the movie ends with the same dialogue as it started with, but that makes the movie a lot better. Overall, I'm impressed. John Sayles did a great job with the film, and I thought the supporting cast did an outstanding job. People may think it's gimmicky, but it's very true. John Sayles really does have the style and the chops to make a great film, and he has it.
I was very excited to see this movie. The story of Bobby Kennedy was a good one. I've read the book and had many hopes to see it on screen. I really enjoyed the movie and even though it didn't live up to my expectations, I was still very satisfied. For the most part the movie followed the book quite well and kept you interested. I don't believe the movie was taken out of context but the movie was full of symbolism. If you have not read the book, I would suggest watching the movie and deciding for yourself. I think this movie was very good and deserves to be seen. The ending was very touching and I felt sad to see Bobby die. The acting was very good and I hope that Meryl Streep continues to play leading roles.
This is one of those movies that really makes you think. I've been trying to think of the film that has done that the most for me, and in the end I came up with this. A must see!
With many of the principals returning from the first one, I can't really say I have any new stuff to add. Well, here it is. Let me say first that I thought the original had a lot to live up to and did. This movie is actually better than I expected. I didn't see it as a sequel and didn't expect much. I think the biggest surprise was that it was a more personal film about the men in the Vietnam war. The men are much more than the white hats, who are the cause of all the evils. It's a film that really doesn't turn into a soap opera and we all know that when the time comes that the hero will have to face the wrath of his old war buddies. In this film we have the same scenario. While the film was not exactly the best I have seen, it was still good and definitely the best since the first one. However, the film is not perfect. It is true that it could have been shorter. It is true that the action could have been better. However, the film still could have been better and probably would have been better with a more serious direction. For example, I think they could have gone much more into the inner workings of the men's mind. Instead, they kept it down to the simple fact that it was a conflict between two men and how they fought. This, in my opinion, could have added more to the film. It could have been a more interesting and more meaningful film. But I guess it's too late for that now. In my opinion, the film is still good and worth seeing.
I don't know why everyone seems to hate this film. It's not a perfect film, but is it the most interesting film that is in the history of cinema? No, not even close. But the basic idea behind it is interesting and there are plenty of compelling performances. The plot is quite thin, but it is what we expect from this type of film. It does have it's flaws. This is not a film that is really "tough" on you. The acting is fine, but I'm not sure if the characters have any real depth. There is one aspect of the film that really bothers me: the dog. The dog was the most disturbing thing in the film. It's as if the makers of the film didn't think enough about what the dog means to the story. But this isn't really a problem with the film as much as it is a problem with the dog itself. I don't know what the filmmakers were thinking. The dog was so damn annoying and completely out of place in the film that I'm sure I'm not the only one who found it absolutely annoying. If you're looking for a good, compelling movie that deals with a few critical issues, watch the Godfather, The Insider, or Platoon. But if you want to watch a well-made film with lots of emotional depth, I highly recommend this film.
This movie is simply one of the most brilliant and brilliant movies I have ever seen. It's amazing what can be achieved in an hour and a half. Every single scene is so great and so powerful and so well chosen. The acting is superb. I was particularly impressed with the performance of Javier Bardem. You just feel like you are really in this moment and can't help but fall in love with him. That's why this movie is so powerful. The music is also very well done. The score is not one of my favourites, but it fits the movie perfectly. It gives you an immense sense of satisfaction when you finally have the feeling that you are in the same moment as the people who are being killed and dying. This movie is extremely powerful and incredibly well made and it makes you feel like you are really there. The movie is also extremely emotional and emotional. In the end, this is the best movie I've seen in a long time. I really can't say any more without giving too much away, but trust me when I say this is definitely the best movie of the year and the best movie of all time. In my opinion, this is definitely one of the greatest movies ever made and a movie that I will always be grateful to have watched. This is my favourite movie of all time.
This is the kind of movie I have been waiting for since I was a kid. A true story that can be experienced by anyone who has ever been in the trenches and the battle of Vietnam. The actors and the sets are true to the times. I have been watching this movie since I was five years old. I have seen it at least a hundred times. It's an amazing piece of filmmaking that captures the essence of a time and place that many people can relate to. I recommend this film to anyone who wants to learn about war and the conditions of the Vietnam war. It will be a reminder to many of the things that many of us take for granted.
At first, I couldn't understand what the fuss was about. At first I thought it was a piece of literature (in fact, I had been warned by my mother to avoid this film for a long time, because it was obviously made by a Christian publisher), but I was wrong. It was the story of a very powerful man, an American history teacher and an American icon who is preparing for the historic time of the new millennium. In other words, it was a film that was supposed to be cool. It is also a movie that is too much entertaining to be taken seriously. It is not for everyone, but if you like historical films or just think this is an interesting story, you can't go wrong.
As a huge fan of the book, I decided to watch this film with the hopes that I would have some insight into the characters and their lives. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. After watching this film I felt I had the privilege to experience these characters on screen. I also was able to understand and appreciate the people involved in the project. The movie is told from the perspective of the protagonists, each character portrayed by a different actor. I have to say that these actors are wonderful, but each one has their own personality, and their own personality's as well. This allows the viewer to identify with each character, their flaws, and their lives. This movie has definitely improved my perspective of the Civil War. I believe it is much more accurate than any other historical movie I have seen. The movie is made in such a way that makes it seem more real than other historical films, and that is a good thing. I would highly recommend this film to anyone who is a history buff, especially if they have read the book.
I'll be honest, I didn't like this movie. It was slightly boring and the ending was too unrealistic. But that's not to say it's a bad movie. I just felt it was poorly done. So, the plot, like I said before, is pretty basic. Basically, the Soviet Union fell, and now people are fleeing the country, and the world needs to help. The story starts out like this, the newly-made president wants to fight the insurgency, and he gets help from a man named Robert. But Robert is a kind of sadistic guy, and has some hidden agenda. He's trying to free all the dissidents who have been imprisoned. The story, while interesting, is never really interesting. At the beginning, you might think it's a story about how the people are fleeing the country, but it's not. The storyline never really follows the real history of the fall of the Soviet Union. So, the movie is pretty good. It has a good story, a good cast, and a good pace. There are a few things that you might not like. One of the things is the acting. It's not that good. Sometimes they make the characters seem way too cold and even inhuman. Another thing is the ending. It's a pretty bad ending. It's just a way too unrealistic, and you won't believe what happens. Overall, this is a pretty good movie. It has a good story, decent acting, good pace, and a pretty good ending. 8/10.
To be blunt: this movie is awful. But when I say that, I mean, "awful" as in "The first time I walked out of the theater, I felt like a dick." This is the worst movie I have ever seen. My friends and I have spent the last couple weeks trying to figure out how to get the movie out of our system. At least, we managed to get the 20 minutes that were actually good. So it's back to the cinemas. The cast is fantastic, as is the script. But the worst thing about this movie is that the characters' actions are utterly unbelievable. This movie tries to be realistic, but it falls flat. You'll find yourself asking yourself "why would people do this or that?" And then, the real reason is that you're not prepared to even think about it. If you're not prepared to think about it, you will not enjoy this movie. This is a must see for anyone who likes history, but even then, I would advise that you stay away from it. It is very disturbing, but it's also very boring. I'll give this 8/10, but I'll need a 2nd and a third if you insist on watching it.
I've been trying to think of the last time I was entertained by a film. This movie definitely brings that sensation back. For the first hour or so, I was just watching for character development and plot. I was quite enjoying myself until one of the main characters (Billy Bob Thornton) made an admission. I remember thinking "This is just a bunch of Hollywood claptrap. What a joke." I was very disturbed by this. I have never been so surprised to find an actor take a stand for something he has always felt is wrong. It was refreshing to see one of the other characters (Jean Reno) go out of his way to encourage the war. Even the scene at the end with the confrontation at Fort Sumter seemed worth the time spent watching it. I was glad to see the dialogue was free of sentimentality. It didn't let the audience down that much, it was nice to see real men, men who know the pain of war. Not to mention the action was exciting and kept you involved until the end. It wasn't perfect, but it was great entertainment. I'll admit, I was a little disappointed that the band broke up after the first song, but it seemed more like a director's cut or something. I don't want to be a reviewer bashing the film, I just don't want to see it for what it is. A pretty good film that was in the wrong hands could have been so much more. I will recommend this to friends as a good way to spend an evening with some good laughs.
I found the movie fascinating, especially the back and forth conversations between Truman and Bobby in Vietnam. They are like brothers, you see their feelings, their hopes and their joys. It was also good to see Gary Sinise, he has a lot of depth in this role. The movie is based on the book "Election" by Donald Boudreaux. The book is about the Vietnam War and is very good. The movie is much better, it is not about the war, but about a conversation between a Vietnam veteran and his brother who is now a US senator. But it is a very good conversation. The movie also shows the triumphs and mistakes of the Vietnam War. There are some scenes of those involved in the war that are very moving. The movie is very informative. The only problem is that it is not very long, about 90 minutes. I rate this film 8/10.
I am not a fan of Michael Moore but I did enjoy this movie. The only problem was that he left out a lot of facts. I do not think that the US or Soviet Union were responsible for the "missile crisis" but I do think that Moore did a good job of painting the situation in such a way that it is easy to dismiss the "facts" that he did not include. There is also a strong cast in this movie. I enjoyed the way that they played the parts of the main characters. This movie is much better than the usual liberal movie and is a must see.
