In 1920s New York, a woman gets pregnant but decides to have an abortion. Her lover, who is her doctor, discovers the baby's deformities and dies when she is pregnant. Now, twenty-eight years later, she lives with her son, a retired advertising executive, and her sister, a journalist. There is a mysterious and powerful house across the street, which, on the night she had the abortion, she is supposed to find it and warn her sister, but there is no trace of the house. The only clues she receives is from a strange housekeeper, an old man who knows all about the history of the house, and some glowing words spoken by a neighbour. Is it the evil spirit of the housekeeper or is the house a figment of her imagination? The ending is ambiguous and leaves many questions unanswered. All in all, an engaging and compelling film. This is a well-made film and deservedly won a number of awards.

Very much in the tradition of 'Memento', 'White Noise' (Akshay Kumar's debut) and 'Goodbye, Lenin' - three so-called 'adult' dramas (the Hindi word is Kavi) - it's a story of the loss of a loved one, a memory that is forever burned into the mind. It's a story of redemption, even though it's a dark story, a dark place that must be overcome to find happiness. Unfortunately, what seemed to be a compelling story soon becomes something far less compelling than I hoped. The director could have made the story more compelling with a more compelling story, but he could have also made the film less powerful. A fine cast contributes to this film. You'd think that a film as dark as this would have a big star in it. And you'd be right, but Akshay Kumar is good in the role, even if he lacks any true range in the way that his character is developed. Good chemistry with Anupam Kher. This is a film you should not miss.

I have never heard of this movie before seeing it on television. When it was on I thought it was good. But as it went on I realized it was a very good movie. It did feel like a made for TV movie to me, but it was well done. It had suspense and very good performances by the actors. The best part of the movie is the end, I do not want to spoil it for you, but you will know when it happens. I give it a B.

A character driven drama that tackles the importance of family in contemporary society. This film is a great example of a TV movie that is able to tell a great story and have a great ending. The movie stars Camilla Belle as a young woman that is brought into a hospital and has a chance to see what her life will be like if she survives. The ending that she gets to see will change her entire life. The movie was made with no bells and whistles. It was a great story that was told with a great acting performance from Camilla Belle. The movie shows a great point of view on this subject, even if it was in an episodic manner. It has great direction, directing an amazing cast. This is a great film, and a must see.

The film was rather slow to begin with and only picked up the pace when Nelson was interviewed for a story on the city. I would give it a 6 out of 10, but the ending was far too nice for me to hate. I'm not too critical of movies, but the ending of this film made me feel guilty. And the suggestion of death is not without reason, which is why I won't ever watch this film again. The scene when Nelson talks to his mother and we see his face, made me feel sick. While the cinematography was decent, it felt like this was a relatively low budget movie. But the ending was nice. This film is a good thriller, and I recommend it. Not as good as the movie "The Silence of the Lambs", but still a very good movie.

I'd heard nothing about this film except that it was going to be great, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of my friends. I must say that I am very pleasantly surprised by it. Yes, it is a little on the slow side, but it is not a film that the viewer needs to take it to the slow lane. It is more the type of film that does not require the viewer to have any emotional involvement. It is a simple story with some fantastic dialogue. It does not require the viewer to take it to the slow lane, nor does it require the viewer to become involved in any particular story. It is simple enough to follow and not too hard to follow, the acting is not the best and the direction is not the best. But what it is, is a film that will entertain the viewer, and I was not disappointed by it.

Michael Meyermann wrote a wonderful book about West German life in the early 80's. I saw the movie several times as a child and it still holds up well to this day. Both Peter and Joanna are very convincing. I have the tape and have recorded all of it. I also have the novel of the same name. It was my favorite book when I was a child, and I still have it on my bookshelf. I have seen the movie several times since and it still holds up very well to this day.

Norman manages to pull off what might be described as "Charlie Kaufmanian" acting. The film is at times slow to begin with and you can't help but feel slightly frustrated with its various sections. However, the pace quickens when the story begins to unravel. As this happens, the audience begins to sympathize with the "hero" Norman, who has it hard, his relationship with the girls, and his own life. Throughout the film we can see the cracks in his shell, and that his character begins to come to life. The cast is excellent, as is the cinematography. The characters are not caricatures, they are all unique and realistic. The film is not a comedy, and there are no laughs throughout. However, the scenes that are truly funny are scattered throughout. Overall, it is an enjoyable film, that might even appeal to those who are tired of Hollywood's predictable formulas. It has its flaws, but this is an excellent film. 7/10.

This is a really good film about a city in the East coast of the United States. It is set in the mid 1970's in the quiet and serene town of Sollers Point, New York. The story follows the life of a young man named Robert Sollers who is troubled by the constant harassment of his neighbor, the man with the black eye. He is not able to get a job. He can't pay the rent on his apartment. He is struggling with his own demons. It is a very well done film. It is a little slow at times but it is an excellent film. The acting is great. I am surprised that this film was not nominated for an academy award. It is very well done.

I just watched this film with my mother, a full fledged history buff. We both loved the film. The cast was great. I have seen it many times and I still enjoy it. I would love to see a remake. I think it is a great movie to watch with your friends and family. I think this movie is a must see for any history buff.

One night I rented this movie, and I thought, "Wow, this is a great film". The way this movie is put together is so well thought out. I just love how everything is made to look like a masterpiece. You can really feel that everything is important to the character, and the movie really makes you feel like you have a connection with all the characters. I don't want to give anything away, but if you like thriller movies, or just romantic movies in general, definitely give this movie a try. It is just a really good film! I give this movie a 7 out of 10!

Review: I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It was a good story about friendship, love and loss. The acting was good, but the story was the star and it lived up to that. The ending is a bit weak, but I think the director intended for it to be that way. The movie definitely shows the effects of the war on relationships and how we as humans react to it. Sometimes you are just overwhelmed by the violence, pain and emotional devastation. The movie is a lot like 'The Thin Red Line' and 'Fallen', in that the relationship between the two characters can affect how the movie will end. It is a shame that there are so few films that shows a true 'happening' type of story like that. I would highly recommend this film to anyone that enjoys a good story with a strong female character.

I can see why some of you who've commented on the way the book is written have enjoyed it. The fact that some of the dialogue sounds slightly different to what you think is very strange to me and has led to a few comments as such. If you can read between the lines and comprehend how the book ends then you'll love it and this is what I did, but there are some characters who I can't put a finger on who are such strange characters that I had trouble getting the hang of. The story is fascinating. I read a bit of the comments and found myself agreeing with a lot of the comments that people have made and not agreeing with a lot of the others. But the thing is, I love the book. It's one of the few books I've read where I can honestly say I love it. I thought the acting was fantastic and very real and all the characters were very interesting. I don't think it's possible to give this movie more than a 7. I was never bored, but I didn't find myself really caring about any of the characters, and I didn't like most of the characters. I did like some of the cast, but I was very disappointed in Paul Thomas Anderson and I don't think I'll ever watch his movies again.

This is one of the most realistic films I have seen. It has a very realistic plot, and although I did not see the original play, I thought the movie was very realistic. It shows how society is in the past, and how people react in the present. I think that people are still afraid to admit that they are different, and even when they do admit it, they do not like to admit it. This movie shows that even if you are not gay, you are still afraid of people who are. I think that this movie is very realistic. This is a movie that I will definitely watch again.

I just recently saw this movie on cable TV and enjoyed it. It was interesting to watch the individual lives of the people in the story. I really like movies that show the difference between the rich and the poor. The movie presented the life of the three brothers, and the influence of the right-wing leaning man in control over the family. I enjoyed the movie.
